Stall when pressing clutch can be bcs of faulty clutch switch. And the non start can be of different cause, fuel drain (press the hand pump see of it works), bad cam or crank sensor, injector short,etc...

You can use. You dont need coding but, if you are mixing just one, then there might be some performance issues...if replacing all 4 then good. Both companies are same, seimens own continental. The key to injector long life is regular use.
Injectors are precalibrated from the service shops. They have a prescribed flow rates. If you are buying new injector and the other 3 are old, Dismantle all 3 and set or adjust the calibration values of them similar to new one using a flow metering equipment. Just coding them to ecm wont do the proper calibration. ( if you are looking for a proper calibration ).
I have tried without coding many times, it works normally. Especially for this engine. And if you want to keep the good records about the engine a coding is suggested.
The oil on the compressor side of the turbo caught my attention. I have the same thing in my car and emitting blue smoke so i think replace the turbo. What should i do sir ?
hi Check if there's any excess play in turbine blades...the oil you see in turbo outlet is the vapour concentration from pcv system. even the new engine used to have the same.
If both working pack n sensor has a fault,its better to replace. Sensor can't be repaired so it needs a replacement. If the fault is at nozzle or internals could repair it.
Is the 2015 Figo 1st gen facelift 1.4 tdci uses continental or Bosch injectors? I purchased in may 2015 , that was last clearance sale of this Figo model so not sure ….

hi there bro, if asking to clean the injectors,its alwys clean by dismantle ie ultrasonic cleaning by professionals. There are negative case n positive cases for purge,who knows which side you would end up.
@@dailyhandsdiy Hi friend .. xmas and new year greetings.. I have a doubt. In my 1.5 liter TDI Skoda rapid, there is an issue with vacuum solenoid valve. While idling , found a kind of trrr trrr noise coming from engine room. While ok opening it was found that the vacuum solenoid valve is making the noise and it is super hot. And it was vibrating a lot. So I replaced the part from brand service center. But even after replacement, it is not functioning as it should be. It's becoming hot after few minutes of idling. If we hold it while idling , we could feel some irregular movements happening inside. . Mine is a low mileage varsity only 31000 kilometres on oro .. any thoughts.? Thanks for time buddy 😀
Hi there, xmas n new yr greetings to you too, pls do check if there is any leaks in the pipes. If there is a leak, the solenoid works continuously n overheats. Check the turbo wastegate controller too.
Hi`me again lol,well ive looked at this video as you suggested, and I appreciate all the knowledge you gave`cheers been very helpful, I know how much time it takes for you to put these vids out and answer questions, I do have a few more questions that are puzzling me after watching this vid, Q1)If you start the motor without connecting most of the stuff like you did to save time on bleeding and remove crap`do you end up with codes coming up afterwards? Q2) When using the same bolt again to hold down the injector clamp do you run the risk of it snapping if you torque them up again as they already had been torqued the first time, Q3)Would it be okay to use ceramic grease 1400c to put on the upper part of the injector to stop the rust build up in the injector port, Q3)If I use grease on the copper washer could this turn to hard crud from the heat over time or do I need a special grease, Q4)The injector in this vehicle is the same as mine,Now as you have this knowledge`is it the siemens piezo or piezo or just a siemens`if I new wich one then I can look up how the injector functions and this would give me a better understanding, Once I put the car back together and see if and how it runs and if it goes into limp mode it more than likely will ill look on my scanner thing what comes up and ask a question if you don`t mind, Owe yes my engine is the same apart from my battery is half under the widscreen coulling and faces more straight ,also youre egr long pipe `I have two pipes coming off mineat the back on the thick part i think they are water pipes to cool that thing down,and theres no primer bulb to pump fuel through and help get air out, Q5)So if number 3 injector comes up with a issue again would it be third one along going from right to left if I was standing at the front of my engine looking at it.L4321R
Yup i do get codes on injector 1234, fuel regulatr, maf n some other. I do clear clear them before the next start after assembling them. There's no risk in using same bolt for the bracket as the bolt is steel n engine block aluminum,so the one wearing should be the aluminum part. Torqing correctly will not damages the threads you may loosen n tighten any number of times. You may use any kind of grease at the tip and washer. Dont have to spread or fill in excess just a small amt is required. Seimens is the brand name ie manufacturer. Piezo is the type of injector. This injector is also made under continental brand name which is also ownd by seimens. Yes these engines came with water cooled egr and normal no cooling egrs. Yes these engines have numbering starting from right side. The first injector is on the gearbox side and 4th one near to timing side. And yes of course pls do mention you doubts anytime. happy to help.

Hi brother, if its a piezo injector, never keep it idle or non working more than 3 days. These injectors need constant working to maintain its working life. And use good quality fuel too.

Hi there, fuel can leak from injector packing ie from nozzle joint, actuator joint, hp pipe joint and lastly the replaced return pipe orings or pipes itself.
How the radiator fan in TDCI engines work, during Idling at what temperature or duration the radiator fan works. I can feel the coolant is in boiling condition after 10 mins of idling...Further more idling does this affect the engine head?
Hi there, i have seen almost btwn 100 to 105 degrees, low speed fan turns on And after 5 to 8 degrees high speed fan turns on. different car has different threshold values calibrated so differs inside the range.

It should not be a thermostat issue even if its bad temp sensor sits inside the loop and fan gets on. Next should be the coolant sensor itself or the fan. Have you checked the fuses and relays?

i am having tapping sound from fuel injectors Ford Figo 2012 Diesel titanium even after servicing all four injectors and repaired one of the faulty one a month back and driven 1500 kms after injector repair. The sound is at idle and low rpm only. Is it safe to drive with this sound . Will it affect the engine(wear out in long run) ? Total odometer reading till now is 51500 Kms . Any suggestions to fix this and check this in bangalore. Total cost 14k for servicing(4 injector) and repair one of the injector at saravana diesels, bangalore. Out of 4 injectors, one injector electrical part was replaced ( around 7000 Rs for this ).They told also another injector is weak but can use it for now . So is it safe to use with tapping sound even after service ?
Are you sure its the injector making those tapping sound. If yes injectors wont cause much problem for long run but, any mechanical wear can cause troubles.

Tapping sound is coming during cold start as well as after driving for sometime also, its coming randomly(Sometimes less and more otherwise). How do i make double sure if thats injector only ? Can we check error code using obd scanner to car ? If not injector can a faulty spark plug cause this tapping sound or maf sensor cleaning solve this ? Only worry is it should not cause damages to engine(internal parts- piston etc) due to injector misfire (tapping sound). Also if again other weak injector needs repair(one injector repair costed Rs 7000) how much would be maximum cost to spend, else can go for second hand injector. Any idea where can i get second hand injector (cost ) for ford figo in bangalore or can ship to bangalore.
I would rather say dont do any diesel cleaning without a dismantle. Injectors needs to be cleaned in special ultrasound cleaners. Else if the cleaner washes out any debri to the nozzle tip, you might end up servicing all of them.

Could you tell me the measurements of the copper washer? There are several measures of outside diameter, inside and thickness. Until I disassemble I won't know and I would like to order the injector and corresponding washer in advance. thank you

Whn half disconnected i mean the actuators or sensors and ignition is set ON, you can get troubles codes and check engine light for sure. You may need to clear them after everything is completed.
There are other reasons like egr malfunctions, turbo issues, sensor issues. If the car doesn't make a tractor kinda sound, it would be least chance to be an injector.
If i have leak from o-ring of fuel return line from injectors can this be the reason of air in the fuel line? Its difficult to start in the mornings...

hi, it may be available from ebay or amazon. Just search for ford mk5 1.4 tdci fuel line. it comes with the complete pipe fittings from fuel filter to hp pump.

Hi there, clean the air intake sensors first.And if the problem still persists, should check the injectors. Injectors when failing doesn't show any fault code.
hello.i have a problem with the power of this car between 1600rpm an 1900rpm the car don t have power ,i check all injectors,i change filters i check the senzors, egr new, no errors on tester ,the car cunsumption its very big ,bord i have 8,5l and reality after 100 km its 7 l.maiby you know and hire sombady with the same problem
at 7:37 you closed the holes near the injector bracket with paper.. but i dint do.. that 13mm bracket bolt dropped inside i couldnt able to reach it with my fingers..and i left my car idle, my local mechanic said head needs to be opened to take that bolt.. any other short cuts..i can able to feel it with my index finger..but dont want to push it into the engine so i put my car idle for 3 months..
Aren't using the 64pcs toolkit from stanley. I noticed you torquing the injector retention clip at9:08 . Are they actually strong for that amount of force, I mean did the handle or the extension twist. Btw, great content bro keep going :)
Haha its actually CR-V so twisting is out of qstn. It can break if over torqued. I use to do that a lot so has that grip on it. Was so lazy to take half inch tools so just went with the flow. btw its alwys good to take bigger tools for these works with no doubt.
After fixing the injector, starting problem arrived.. no fuel coming out on return line tried to pump the fuel primer many times. filled half tank of diesel but no fuel coming out of return line.. what will be the issue..

Tengo un vehiculo con 300000km y desde hace unos 3 años , en ocasiones y en ocasiones, 3 o 4 veces al año durante unos segundos, el coche ya caliente circulando da durante excasos segundos tirones, si volver a aparecer esta anomalia en varios meses y mas o menos una vez al año, se reproduce esta misma anomalia de forma mas aguda y el vehiculo entra en modo protección, activandose el testigo de fallo motor y con un mensaje en la pantalla de sistema antipolucion defectuoso. El escaner marca en ocasiones el codigo P0202 y en otras P0204. Decir tambien que al dia siguiente el coche vuelve a funcionar normalmemte y desaparecen los avisos de la pantalla.El mecanico me propone para solucionar esta anomalia cambiar los 4 inyectores. Limpié por si fuera eso el sensor MAF sin resultado. Queria saber tu opinion sobre este fallo ya que oa reparacion tiene un coste elevado y no estoy seguro que se solucione cambiando los inyectores.
Apologies for late reply...this could be a fault in single injector not all 4 of them. You could possibly replace the injector 2, check the wiring for continuity for best results.

Do check for excess oil consumption...if no there's nothing to worry...ford engines do smoke at 2k rpm and at moderate heavy accelerations

Not a fan of additives, just make sure to use the car once in 3 days...dont leave it idle over weekends or for months.

I haven't done any coding because the car runs and sounds great with new injectors.

Did you mean to make the fan run every time? And we cant actually tell if the radiator is clogged,need a complete dismantle and pressure checked.

Try cleaning the maf sensor and egr valve if not cleaned b4. any stuck egr used to causing knocking noise. scaning wont reveal the cause of knock.

Can you do a detailed video on injector cleaning in 1.4 tdci using liquimoli diesel purge with a bottle and hose mechanism.
I would rather say dont do any diesel cleaning without a dismantle. Injectors needs to be cleaned in special ultrasound cleaners. Else if the cleaner washes out any debri to the nozzle tip, you might end up servicing all of them.

Well that depends on the services centers which differs in different region..
Could you tell me the measurements of the copper washer? There are several measures of outside diameter, inside and thickness. Until I disassemble I won't know and I would like to order the injector and corresponding washer in advance. thank you

Whn half disconnected i mean the actuators or sensors and ignition is set ON, you can get troubles codes and check engine light for sure. You may need to clear them after everything is completed.

There are other reasons like egr malfunctions, turbo issues, sensor issues. If the car doesn't make a tractor kinda sound, it would be least chance to be an injector.
If i have leak from o-ring of fuel return line from injectors can this be the reason of air in the fuel line? Its difficult to start in the mornings...
Yup that small leak sucks in air and cause long start in the morning.

hi, it may be available from ebay or amazon. Just search for ford mk5 1.4 tdci fuel line. it comes with the complete pipe fittings from fuel filter to hp pump.

Hi there, clean the air intake sensors first.And if the problem still persists, should check the injectors. Injectors when failing doesn't show any fault code.

hello.i have a problem with the power of this car between 1600rpm an 1900rpm the car don t have power ,i check all injectors,i change filters i check the senzors, egr new, no errors on tester ,the car cunsumption its very big ,bord i have 8,5l and reality after 100 km its 7 l.maiby you know and hire sombady with the same problem
Try disconnecting the egr valve and drive..see if there's any change. Simply disconnect the electrical connector.
at 7:37 you closed the holes near the injector bracket with paper.. but i dint do.. that 13mm bracket bolt dropped inside i couldnt able to reach it with my fingers..and i left my car idle, my local mechanic said head needs to be opened to take that bolt.. any other short cuts..i can able to feel it with my index finger..but dont want to push it into the engine so i put my car idle for 3 months..
Well you could use a magnetic wire to reach and pull the bolt out.

No thats not possible. its will be stuck inside the manifold itself. Bolt of that size cannot move pass the valve gaps.

Aren't using the 64pcs toolkit from stanley. I noticed you torquing the injector retention clip at9:08 . Are they actually strong for that amount of force, I mean did the handle or the extension twist. Btw, great content bro keep going :)
Haha its actually CR-V so twisting is out of qstn. It can break if over torqued. I use to do that a lot so has that grip on it. Was so lazy to take half inch tools so just went with the flow. btw its alwys good to take bigger tools for these works with no doubt.

What is the correct torque settings for the fuel injector bolts (1.4 TDCI)?
Bracket bolts needs a max of 25nm torq.

After fixing the injector, starting problem arrived.. no fuel coming out on return line tried to pump the fuel primer many times. filled half tank of diesel but no fuel coming out of return line.. what will be the issue..
Its the primer, its not holding the fuel. Need to pump it using other ways....like manual hands technic or suction pumps.

Tengo un vehiculo con 300000km y desde hace unos 3 años , en ocasiones y en ocasiones, 3 o 4 veces al año durante unos segundos, el coche ya caliente circulando da durante excasos segundos tirones, si volver a aparecer esta anomalia en varios meses y mas o menos una vez al año, se reproduce esta misma anomalia de forma mas aguda y el vehiculo entra en modo protección, activandose el testigo de fallo motor y con un mensaje en la pantalla de sistema antipolucion defectuoso. El escaner marca en ocasiones el codigo P0202 y en otras P0204. Decir tambien que al dia siguiente el coche vuelve a funcionar normalmemte y desaparecen los avisos de la pantalla.El mecanico me propone para solucionar esta anomalia cambiar los 4 inyectores. Limpié por si fuera eso el sensor MAF sin resultado. Queria saber tu opinion sobre este fallo ya que oa reparacion tiene un coste elevado y no estoy seguro que se solucione cambiando los inyectores.
Apologies for late reply...this could be a fault in single injector not all 4 of them. You could possibly replace the injector 2, check the wiring for continuity for best results.

In ford engines the numbering is in reverse. ie the first one is counted from gearbox side.
