Holy!! every single sound test possible 😆. Fantastic work on the vid. Looks like the board does not support pcb mount stabilizers, but still a great keyboard though.
I appreciate the extensive combination of sound tests. Did you test wireless performance? I am curious how this performs compared to other TKLs, particularly all aluminum boards (like the neo80 or luminkey80). Most of the criticisms I have seen for this board are related to sound and weight which are directly linked to the choice of a PC bottom. However, if it has better wireless performance, then this is a good tradeoff for many people.
Yes I tested the wireless connection and it worked flawlessly, in Mac and windows mode. On the other hand, I had problem with the wireless connection on my neo80 when connecting to my Mac🤷♀️sometimes it wouldn’t connect or it would disconnect randomly
@@key_rist Ahh got it! Also, how heavy was the keyboard once assembled? They listed the weight at 1120g, but I'm assuming this is for the unassembled wired version.
I would love to know how it sounds with GMK caps and all the foams. just plate foam it sounds more poppy but I want the deeper notes that all foams give off
I reckon it would still be marbly but brighter due to the abs caps? I’m sorry I didn’t include this exact config in the sound test and I hope other reviewers will have this config in their sound tests🙏 but I can also record one in a separate vid if no one has done it yet
I'm going to pre order GEM 80, it's going ti be my first custom keybord. What switches I should to choose ? I'm thinking beetwen rasberry and cherry(silent)
Depends on your preference honestly! I don’t like silent switches so I would go for raspberry! I’m also interested to try lemon tactile switches if I get the chance
I don’t like to compare since they’re different boards and it’s all preference at the end of the day. Some people like the sound signature of the neo80 but some find it too ‘clacky’ so maybe the Gem80 would be perfect for them!
Thank you for your hard work making the sound test video. Best UA-camr.

the sound of the camera mic is superb!!!
Gem80 with GMK Panels very good matching. you best color matching youtuber

Yes the Gem80 only supports plate mount stabs😕
Amazing work!
Awesome work thanks 🎉
Amazing video!! Question, where can I find those triangles bowls you were using in the video? I really like those

Awesome🎉
The big con of this custom keyboard is the pcb are not supported screw mounted stabiliers
Do you recommend top mount for clearer sound? I'm having trouble distinguishing between Strip and Top Mount with all foams.
Yeah it is hard to distinguish with all foams! But to me the top mount sounds a bit clearer and brighter

Neo80 vs this by sounds and feeling? Looks like Neo sounds better
