    • @StanMills

      Those are the cages that were used to reintroduce the wolves back into Yellowstone in 1995. I thought I also saw a comment from you where you asked what was the black bear looking up at. That bear ran her cub up the tree when she saw me. But I didn't stay around long enough to try to get a video of the cub. Thank you for your comments.

      @@StanMills oh...it was about what the bear was hoovering up off the ground. I got rid of it because you had a message overlay that stated they were eating ants.

  • @evahamilton779

    how can you prevent a possible bear encounter where it is guarding a kill. that seems like the danger since one cannot see it coming.

    • @StanMills
      @StanMills  2 роки тому

      yes you are right and it is dangerous to approach a carcass. But I have done it a few times not seeing a grizzly around just to find out they were watching me from the trees. Here is one of those videos: ua-cam.com/video/0ZFy9JO-t18/v-deo.html

    I don't understand why those that introduced the wolves, never cleaned up the trash left behind. Pack it in Pack it out.

    • @StanMills
      @StanMills  Рік тому

      What I hate is that it seems every Phd student seems to have to do their research project in Yellowstone and they never clean up their messes. They always set up in remote parts of the park and access their projects by horseback and then don’t clean it up when they are done. I run into that stuff all the time. Why doesn’t the park administration follow up on those things and make sure no trace or anything is left behind.
