✨Alongside Arthars and Xenosys Vex, Asmongold is one of the few people I admire from a Content Creation standpoint. I really value honesty, integrity, intelligence and the ability to entertain and make people laugh- Asmon encapsulates all of these for me.✨
🌟I've been watching Asmon's UA-cam uploads for years and still really enjoy everything he makes. Seeing him play my favourite game of all time was wonderful and I would love for him to play again BUT I would rather he be happy and make the content he wants to make and be proud of himself knowing that he makes the lives of hundreds of thousands of people a little better with his entertainment.🌟
😎I've been working on this since late February, and have been grinding since the 2nd of May where I've been working on this every day from 12pm to 5am until the day it was uploaded. Because I LOVE making videos.😎

@@janekgaganek3871 I think he's definitely waiting for 7.0 at this point, playing out the rest of the msq with the enhanced textures and lighting. It makes the most sense because he'll be maximizing viewership for those that wanna see the graphical update and his journey continue.
The level of detail... his player character even has his mouth slightly open showing the upper row of his teeth a little when he is focused or thinking..
This might be the best content I have seen since... my god the last time I laughed this hard when I watched the Gmod Idiot Box videos.

I used to watch a tonne of Gmod Idiot Box (and Kitty0706) when growing up, and then when I first started making videos it got compared to theirs a lot, so I fully embraced that whole Gmod style which I love. And I frame by frame lip sync and because it takes a long time to set up a scene or character talking I take advantage of it and try to make it as detailed as I can 😇🥰 So I really appreciate that you noticed and I really appreciate your wonderful comment 😇

Saw this on Asmongold's stream and I immediately recognised Max and Frank's voices. Such a good choice, honestly had me laughing so much. The nostalgia for this game is so real, definitely my favourite game of all time by far, I honestly don't feel like there will be another game I get as invested into in a long time
I loved that era of UA-cam when they were collabing. I also love the idea of turning the typical "My character's VA would be 'Famous Voice Actor,' or 'Famous Seiyuu,'" to having them be UA-camrs or streamers that wouldn't have anything to do with FFXIV. 🤣

Having watched most of Asmongold's ill-fated odyssey through Eorzea live, this is a pretty accurate summation of it. It really is unfortunate that he had so many different forces pulling on him as he carried on, because it was genuinely fun to see an outsider's reaction to the game.
As usual, the editing is on-point! I particularly enjoyed the phone gags and the blink-and-you'll-miss-it references to the MSQ (Livia's hostage video at 6:30 is a real gem). You've been including more custom voice acting in these over time and it's nice to see that it remains high-quality and very funny. I'm not sure of all the details behind how you make these videos but the effort that goes into them is certainly clear!
I hope 6.4 will treat you well! I'll look forward to whatever you put out next. I admit I'm kinda dying to know what's up with Nihlyon's subplot from last time.
I've been watching him for years since his Transmog competitions flooded my recommended 🤣 So when he hopped on FF I was over the moon as I was already watching him for his ability to entertain. He was able to make stuff like Chocobo racing and the early fights really enjoyable to watch 🤩
I'm glad you liked the Livia part, I wanted it to look like one of her soldiers was filming her 🤣 And then have Asmon's camera cut out as it always used to. 🤣
I've gotten the voices a lot more because, as much as I love making my style, it is a thousand times easier to have a character speak and convey a story rather than having the viewer read a text message. 😇 It's definitely a tonne of effort, like for the part where Lyon uploads his own video, of Hayate going "Leave that in, I wanna look cool." I actually uploaded that segment myself as an unlisted video, watched and screen-recorded it on my phone, uploaded that footage to a Google Drive, downloaded it on my PC, then corner pinned that footage to his phone, THEN went in Photoshop and make the fake viewcount/likes/date as an overlay and it's on screen for a few seconds. BUT, I love every moment of doing it, which is what matters the most 😍🥰
Next video is another Life-stream, and the main plotline that's between the clips will focus on Nihilyon and the more serious stuff I'm also making, VERY excited to get to that, so knowing there is interest makes me even more motivated 😇💕

The editing in this is so spazzy lmao I like it. The time leading up to and around Endwalker's release was definitely... something. I wasn't playing the game a whole lot cause I didn't want to burn out by the time 6.0 released but it was nice hearing about the excitement building up as well as all these new people coming in to try the game.

Asmon was the reason i started playing ff14. But didnt get very far, mainly due to irl stuff. This video ironically makes me want to play again. The community in game os unlike any other.
