The traffic signals on the approach side of intersections are terrible. I guess you're supposed to look straight up out of the windshield to see if the signal has changed?
It’s a bit how the rules are structured, you have to slow down for traffic to zip in. Hence, everyone knows the rules and there’s not much to look out for either while merging in or giving way for someone to merge

When you drive through Germany its one construction site after another. When I was driving from the Netherlands to Poland I went through like 10-15 construction sites which often slow you down to only 80km/h. Whats the point of having all these motorways when you will be limited to 80km/h very often. There is no need to repair good roads.
I agree with you that the constructions slow down traffic a lot. However, it is also the only way to maintain the quality of the road. Thank you for watching and engaging.
no ..... that is quite wrong. The roads and highways are in a worse condition than you think. The massive truck traffic from east to west and from north to south destroys the road surface underground. For example, the layer of the superstructure has risen from 40 cm to almost 80 cm. Imagine that on a mass scale.
Viele Baustelle unterwegs...aber eine hervorragende Fahrt trotzdem.

No, there is at least one traffic light on the side for the vehicles in front which is at a low height.
