My Halloween wedding pinterest board has admittedly been leaning a lot on this aesthetic. It's hard to do an elevated Halloween vibe without pulling in a more general night time influence.
I know you didn't ask me, but: - the wedding gown is the something blue - the American Revolutionary War predates both Mendelssohn and Wagner, so neither of the old school wedding marches existed yet, meaning you could go for something by Mozart or Bach to walk down the aisle (if you're Christian I recommend Jesu Joy of Men's Desiring). Do yourself a favour and don't pick Pachelbel's Canon in D, it's bland as hell and string instrument players hate playing it - which leads into my next suggestion: live entertainment instead of a dj. Doesn't have to be professional-professional, you can talk to local high schools or university music programs and audition the students - metal cups and mugs instead of glassware - Washington's entrance-inspired grand entrance for the happy couple at the reception - guest book sign inviting people to tell the story of tonight - historic venue, natch - anything with a folksy exposed-stone vibe would work - photobooth with frock coats and stuff to try on - wildflowers local to your area for the centrepieces because it's charming and in keeping with what they would've had access to - with colours you have a lot of options; you could do cream navy blue and gold, you could do a bunch of overlapping wood tones and green, you could be in a white wedding gown and have your bridesmaids in Eliza Peggy and Angelica's dress colours, etc - personally I would incorporate a quilt somewhere in the decor - the background for a photobooth or the welcome sign, behind the bride and groom at the reception, or even just as a prop in the wedding portraits - you could name your signature drinks after songs from the show - or maybe each of your tables is named instead of numbered, if you have a lot of guests - if you don't have a lot of guests, then obviously you should try to have nine tables That's all I can think of for now, unless you wanna get a little goofy and have the groomsmen wear ten dollar bills as boutonieres.
99.99% sure I'm not going to ever get married but every time I see one of these shorts from this woman, I plan a new wedding. This theme is so damn gorgeous, no matter what way you go.
Thank you for posting this! My fiancee and I weren't sure about the fall theme as it didn't contain our favourite colour (purple) but the galaxy theme fits us perfectly! Anyone can look up a picture of the galaxy and their outfit can be based on whatever picture because there is no one galaxy! It's funny because my grandmother in law got my fiancee a build your own music box and it's of the solar system and we love the song so much it made him cry lol. We are def doing this for our wedding I'm on pintrest as I type this
I always wanted a galaxy wedding cause of the saying "I love you to the moon and back" and so many galaxy theme songs like hello!!! Its perfect 🥰 And I always wanted a wedding dress with stars on it instead of beads Acourse this has to approve by my partner in the future but it's unique yet classy at the same time I would kill to have thus wedding tho
I plan on having like a rustic country wedding in a barn but those like pictures are really pretty. It’s not my dream wedding, but I would love to be invited to these type weddings. Crazy.
