No9 2 plank trip March 2021

At the end of a day's work getting the line ready for re-opening, we took a trip up to Corris from Maespoeth to close the gates and tidy up.
This was done with Number 9, the battery electric loco and the two plank waggon that has been rebuilt during this year and returned to service.
Filmed at about 4:30 in the afternoon, the sun had gone behind the hillside from where the railway runs, so we were left in the shade, but it still illuminated the other side of the valley.
Sit back, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the little train making its way up the valley.

I am excited to see the completion of the south expansion. I wish I can come visit one day!
