    Sometimes the algorithm just works and you find channels with insane potential like yours. Stoked on your UA-cam journey! Started mine a year ago and it’s been a hell of a ride!
    From one film and Fuji guy to another, much love, dude! 🙏

    I ditched my full-frame set-up for Fuji - X-T3 and X-E1. Best thing I ever did. The money I got selling the canons paid for some really nice Fuji glass.

    Everything that you said about how Fujifilm cameras have made you a better photographer, I can say about my decades of shooting with old Nikon SLRs and Leica M film cameras. Those cameras forced me to learn photography, the dials for the exposure triangle, the unforgiving nature of get it right before you hit the shutter release, and really learning how to control depth of field and why you never turn over the aperture to the computer in the body that has no idea what you are trying to capture all made me study and learn.
    So today, after leaving film and going digital, my cameras of choice are Fujifilm. They allow me to continue with 50 years of shooting behind me to just keep doing what I've been doing other than the digital capture rather than film.
    If it ain't broke...

      Fujifilm is revolutionizing the photography industry not in the technology and advancement, but the mindset of photographers. It really puts the critical thought of composition of a photograph. I’ve started with a Nikon DSLR, but as soon as I got my X-T2, I’ve made incredible progress in my own journey as a photographer. Even though I’m not up to date with the latest Fujifilm equipment and tech, I still love my xt2.

    Loool, theat's me too! Adjusting the knobs on the camera for the proper/preferred exposure, changing ISO, Shutter Speed and sometimes aperture. Nothing is ever on auto except focus. That's why I like Fuji.

    I love my old Fujifilm X-T1 and also shoot an X-T3 because both were really great buys. Fuji makes quality cameras and they are also magical.

    Fuji lenses offer exceptional quality at good price point, although prices have increased quite a bit over the last several years for “new”glass. I shoot with 2 Fuji XT-3 camera bodies after selling all of my Canon gear that I have used for over 40 years. I have no regrets.

    i was still using the xt1 until dec2023 when i got a xt5. my days w film is what make xt1 a great camera. from film i have the habit of comparing scene to middle grey in order to +/- to get the exposure for the subject. also, to look or solid lines that the camera focus on on the same plane as the subject if the subeject lacks contrast for a lock on. instead of getting a ok image and post process, film have taught me to get very close to the wanted exposure, which i am still tempted to make adjustments in lightroom cos its there and it helps to move image even closer to what i want. w xt5 its still the same, most of the time i still shoot at single pt, focus then recompose...cos the first nikon f90 i started with focus and recompose was the most reliable way to get corrctly focus images.

    DITTO! EyE shoot with an X-E2, an X-T1 & an X-T2 in manual mode, with a combo of modern Fujinon and vintage manual lenses. As an old school shooter who could care less about video or action photography, & my favorite sensor being the Trans2, I’m in my relatively dirt cheap sweet spot (I have the Trans3 X-T2 for inclement weather resistance, Acros, and the dual card slot for can’t miss events). Not everyone wants or needs the latest/“greatest”. 👌

    I really like this video and one of the things I do love about Fuji is that it doesn't matter what Fuji camera you pick up. They are all similar in a way but different, but you will get similar results in terms of the photo which is not a bad thing. It's just your methodology and what setup you like in your camera. They have such a great range of camerasAnd I've switched over to Fuji at the moment and I'm probably gonna stay when I look at my Fuji film camera and it sits on my little table near my editing device. I'm sure other Fuji uses do this as well. It just screams at me go take me and let me play outside and let's get some photos. It's like a relationship with the Fuji and I like that you actually have to put some work in to get the exposure right it's not a point-and-click camera but it's also not a camera that you need to be obsessed with every single thing either. I am just loving Fuji film and yes I subscribed

    Dude - stunning and subscribed. I have an Xpro2 with the magic lens. The constraint thing I get, the reward is great. I'm even using the Xpro2 for film... Until I buy the Xt3 or xh1 as my "cine" cam!

    Bro nice video agree with you 100%. I feel fuji cameras make you keep true the art of photography . The dials brought me back to the control I had in the 6th grade photography course . I have x100v an will go to next fuji when the time is right .

    I've been using Fujifilm for a while. The main thing I dislike about Fujifilm lenses are the electronically controlled manual focus. Apart from that, the analogue dials are what drew me in 7 years ago, and I am still using my old X pro 1 and X-T2's since then.
    Anyway, nice video.

      I agree 100%. Unfortunately, that is largely a problem across almost all of the new mirrorless setups. Having electric manual focus lenses allows them to keep the price of production down. I would love to see them come out with fully mechanical lenses in the near future that also allow for autofocus switching. I would recommend buying a vintage lens and an adapter for you Fuji setup if you’re interested in a fluid mechanical focus system. Vintage lenses are great and the adapters are very affordable.

    Great video man, I have the same setup and I love it. Just one thing, I understand what you meant by limitations when you were talking about the dials, but maybe, we Fuji photographers, should find another For that Situation, Because for me the dials are not limitations for me don't have any ideas is limitations maybe it's just different you know so we should find a different word to talk about it

    I'm still using an X-pro1 with 35mm f2. :) Not a fan of the X-pro3 and not sure if it's worth "upgrading" to the X-pro2.

    Thanks for tge video. I need advice. Been looking into fujifilm cameras as i want to get back into photography. I still have pentax k10d from that i used a while back, but was put off by the size and weight. But now, mirrorless cameras are small and light, which is a huge benefit, but changing to new system will not be cheap. Qustion is whether there is a huge difference between these two systems or should i keep my dslr? Also, i was looking at x-t4 and it doesnt look like its a light camera. Also has some weight to it

    • @just_A_Hack
      @just_A_Hack Рік тому +2

      For what it is worth, I had an x-t4 for a long while and took it with me everywhere. We actually hiked rim to rim at the grand canyon and I really didn't notice the weight. I came from a nikon d750 and the size difference with the 28-55 2.8 to 4 lens from fuji was significant. As far as image quality goes, can't speak to that but I find it very good. There is definitely something different to the image files, but I really like it. You can find used x-t4's from mpb with a 6 month warranty for around 1100 bucks. I have seen some good deals on ebay as well. One other thing to note with the x-t4 is the new battery. It lasts a really long time. Not dslr long, but a long time.

    • @BrodyKuhar
      @BrodyKuhar  Рік тому

      Alex put it perfectly. I couldn’t have said it any better. Fujfilm cameras as a general rule are not heavy at all. The smaller sensor allows them to make smaller cameras that are much lighter than your standard DSLRs. They are surprisingly light to me.
