@@cannibalronny7314 exactly. Apple is great, but we are literally happy prisoners. There is huge space for apple to improve (compatibility wise) and i hope they do.
Nice vid (seems almost identical to my setup) except for 1 thing: this vid was about the ecosystem yet nothing was said about how these devices work TOGETHER. AirDrop, UniversalControl, AirPlay / Handoff, using iCloud in integrated way, Apple services and how they work across devices like AppleTV, Music etc
Your 2018 Macbook Air. Do you worry about software updates running out? I wanted to get the 2020 MacBook Air M1 16GB/2TB because of the gold color and sleek bezel, but it may be a waste of money seeing that Apple is cutting the software updates in a year or two.
You should give Caudabe cases a chance. I used them for the first time, this year, and I now have 3 of their cases. I have one Synthesis and two Sheath cases.

You really have a good choice when it comes to the keyboard & mouse. Even I also use the MX Master 3 for the past 2 years now so I know how it is. Also I use the mouse between my Windows Laptop & my M1 MacBook Air. I can't wait to see the Apple Vision Pro in your Ecosystem. The best part I like about the Apple Ecosystem is Sidecar, Universal Control, Cross device Copy Paste & unlocking devices with the Apple Watch
Great video. You have a seriously impressive setup. I love how you thoughtfully compartmentalise your devices to fit seamlessly into your overarching productivity needs. I too used my iPad Pro as a ludicrously expensive video streaming device for the longest time. 😃 I watched a medley of your videos and enjoyed them all. Your channel is seriously underrated.
You have a very similar ecosystem to mine. I’ll have to check out the snap float folio and case. I use a Timbuk2 bag for my iPad, 15” MacBook Air, and Aipods Max. They all fit in there together. I highly recommend adding a full sized Home Pod or two to your ecosystem.

Also a REALLY old MacBook Pro 13 which I don’t use anymore lol I want to make a purchase on a new MacBook not sure which yet. I think that the best integrations are with the Apple TV you can type anything with your iPhone or have private listening with your AirPods and also listen with the HomePod minis. It’s just so easy and nice to use.
You need to use a transparent case for your beautiful phone. Ideally, it should be no case, but it works only for very careful people. Otherwise you selection of Apple devices really impressive.
Honestly, if you already have the MacBook Air. I would’ve recommended just by the LG 24 inch display monitor for about six $700 and you could’ve plugged in your MacBook Air into that and get basically the same set up without having to have a second computer. Good video well done and well edited.
or just save and buy in a little at a time. you can get the m2 mac mini base model for 499 at best buy you can get an iphone 12 for around 200 use, you can get a used apple watch for around 150. to get into the eco system it isn't really that expensive. its just a matter of choice.
Name any windows machine that lasts as long as an apple product. I switched my firm over to Mac years ago, and immediately saved thousands a month in tech support. But even better, when i replace a Mac, it is because of desire, not need - so we still have machines that are 10+ years old that are just fine. Cost of ownership of a Mac is so much less than any windows machine I’ve ever owned.

I use my iphone, watch and ipad daily. I have a really nice computer, it's 7 years old and is still pretty much perfect for everything I need. But I have had a craving for an apple mac for a long while. The macbook pro specifically is on my radar right now. I feel if I got a macbook pro I could make it my laptop for travel and for video editing. My productive and creative laptop. It will be awesome to use with the ipad and my phone too and seamlessly moving media and files between these 3 devices would be so cool. Not to put down my current laptop. It's an asus rog strix and is a gaming laptop. At 17 inches it's not something I can lug around everywhere. But to keep it at home and remove all my files and art stuff from it I could make it dedicated to being a gaming laptop for myself. I think that would work out pretty awesomely. So yeah, the urge to complete my apple ecosystem that little bit more, and to try an apple computer for the first time since early high school.... XD it's beginning to win. I have the watch as well as I mentioned before and I have had an apple watch for about 6 years and its been my best tech purchase. I have a series 7 but I can't deny that the shiny Ultra isn't tempting me :P Your airtag holders look really nice :)

I have all of it and they work well together. Very streamlined compared to others but I don't like the thought of giving one company everything. So even though I am currently using all apple products the service I use are google services. Google One, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Keep. So if apple pisses me off which they do every now and again I can just jump on to my Pixel/Google ecosystem or my Samsung fold and their ecosystem. Love knowing I can leave something any time I want.
The way I think about it is… While Samsung had to battle it out with Apple(proper lawsuit) and so many different Android OEM’s as they were seen as the android phone maker, Apple had time to build a truly interactive and interconnected platform as they had no other competitors in the early 2010’s
If you can do your Work with a 24” Screen, OK, but it is NOT 5K, it’s 4.5K. That’s another reason why many of us don’t consider it an equal replacement for the 27” iMac.
Yes I was looking to see if anyone was going to mention this. Three things I don’t like about her iMac 1. Not 5k 2. White Bezels 3. Going from my 5k 27” iMac would feel like a downgrade when it came to display. Bonus comment, I don’t like that when I purchased my 27” iMac several years ago I got a complete package 3tb hard drive 32gb ram for around $3k give or take. Now Apple wants $2.5k just for their dam monitor that’s 27” 5k. You need to buy Mac mini or Mac something separate to get a 27” iMac look and feel and you will be spending close to $5k if not more should you want 32gb and forced to go 4tb hard drive! This of course is if you decide to go Apple way and not hack or reconfigure anything aftermarket.
I just discovered your channel! It's also interesting to know that you have a main channel, @marinamonteiro, which is in Portuguese. Does this mean you film them in one sitting for each video, then edit, one for Portuguese and another for English?! I watched this exact video, both the Portuguese and English versions, side by side and it was not dubbed! You could've easily had an extra option for an English audio track on your main channel for each video, alongside the main Portuguese audio track, but you instead went the extra mile, to make a second channel, just for English-speaking viewers! This is actual dedication! I respect you for that Marina! Subbed. 👏🏽
How is that useless? It’s a perfectly sized device for content consumption, unlike the iPhone which is like pulling out a Swiss Army knife. iPhone is useful for communication, listening to audio, taking photos/video, navigating and doing other things in a pinch while your out but it’s too small to do anything serious. Each device has its use.
I strongly disagree with that. It’s my favourite Apple device. I use as my mobile computing device for nearly everything. At home I hook it up to one of my external displays and it acts like a second computer along with my Mac Studio.
@@peraman2022 I also use mine alongside either my 24" iMac or my MacBook Air.
