I'm 47. Most of the people I grew up with listen to 70's and 80s stuff. I'm so glad music still has passion. This song grabs my soul, wrenches it out of doldrum and makes me me scream. Awesome shit.
I saw them live and David is the same. He dances like crazy, and sways back and forth and that was the night that I fell completely in love with him and the band. They all have so much energy and they're great live
This song's a classic and it's not even old. It's going to be one of those songs that the kids of today listen to constantly and rediscover when they're older.
Our parents can not really teach us, because all they learned was also wrong. There is only one way to know the truths of the world, your way, my way, and the way of each one, but not of the world around us. Good day people !!
I remember these guys peaked during the winter/spring of 2010/2011...music was coming in waves at the time. This was refreshing compared to the dubstep...think Like A G6 was out same time as this. I prefer this
Hope these get really big :) saw them as a warm-up for FOB in Birmingham and they were real entertainers as well as just as good live as they are on the tracks!
Yes! Saw them supporting Panic! in november and fell in love with them and then saw them supporting FOB and sung along to all the songs. It was great, the deserve to get really big!
Saw them last week and the singer came to my row and got right by my side it was so awesome I love fob and paramore but I wish new politics had more time
Different people of different political sides applying meaning to a song for their own viewpoint making said song relevant continuously. That’s how you know you have wrote a brilliant song.
I remember the first time a couple friends and I saw these guys.. besides our group, there was maybe a handful of other people in the crowd. They still put 500% into it. David even started breakdancing on stage ;) I miss them.
Aside from the fact that video has one of the best and clearest messages about being a better person and living as a better society, the music is amazing.
BUBBLEGUM GUN basically any tv network with a political goal so fox, cnn, BBC, itv all of em are spreading political propaganda that supports that media companies political ideologies
we cant look up to the past generations anymore, its up to the current generation of youths that will make the change. which means we have to actually think and look beyond the media and see whats hidden behind all the sugar coating. amazing video, great song, incredible message!!
Saw them last night in Phoenix with Paramore and Fall Out Boy, and found out they're doing their own tour.. Um, yes please !! Loving them. Go New Politics!!
You're gonna kill us all to bring peace Damn, it's been almost a decade since I first heard this song, and it just popped into my head today. One hell of a message it still delivers. Shame how they never really blew up.
Saw them a few days ago as part of the Monumentour! Fell in love with their stage presence and music. Going to see them on their own tour on October 24th! Cannot wait. They grabbed my camera during one of the songs and videoed with it! So cool!
Such awesome lyrics!!! "So kids, don't listen to yer parents! Your parents can't teach ya! All they ever left was the world in a mess!" "You're gonna kill us all to bring peace!" "We've got no control over the state of our minds!" "We're all doomed to believe that there's no way around, there's no way around!" "I've got no choice, no voice, I have no dignity." :D Wow, a masterpiece.
Funny thing is that every one of there songs has some type of government-hate related lyric. And, I mean there BAND NAME is New Politics. Love the band though
It's kind of weird cause I usually don't really like bands or get annoyed by bands who center their music around politics but for some reason I like this band. I guess it's because they aren't forcing an agenda on you per se, but are teaching you to think for yourself and to not let other people tell you what to do, which is just basic knowledge you should know anyway, but with a little political twist.
These guys just played in jacksonville. There was a dude crowd surfing on a bike and the singer was jumping off stage and doing handstands. It was great! There awesome footage/ pics of this at GetAMPED magazines facebook.

How you doing after 13 years?
Shit you 60 now ;) Kidding, hope you still enjoy them!
I saw them live and David is the same. He dances like crazy, and sways back and forth and that was the night that I fell completely in love with him and the band. They all have so much energy and they're great live
FangirlForLife maybe it helps him keep rythme
I got 2 meet them5 years ago they're very nice n humble people
I just saw them live a couple nights ago, and even now, they've still got it.
I saw this band live twice and both times it changed me. I know sounds corny. But when the music is so pure and the message so strong...it happens.
This band should be way more popular than they are.
They'll probably be huge after Monumentour with Fall Out Boy and Paramore
Evan Bagwell
AND MOMENTOUR ISNT COMING TO ME. ALL MY FAVOURITE BANDS IN ONE PLACE. "ALL I LIVED WAS A LIE."
they will be. I saw them warm up for RHCP and the people there loved them.

I wish this song became popular in it's time so everyone had better memories about it now
2:12 I love this part
New Politics is by far the best band i have ever seen live, it was a great concert.
This song really held up well. O saw them live a couple times when they firsr came out. They were excellent. That first album was generally strong.
Six years? Are you kidding me? Still such an amazing band! Definitely a show I want to see again...
2020
10 :)
How does this have such low views in 2020??? One of the most underrated bands that many rocks fans have never heard!!! Crank it MOFOS!!!
2023 today… almost 2024 and just remembering this… they have been telling us the whole time how manipulation has going on in our country too.
Our parents can not really teach us, because all they learned was also wrong. There is only one way to know the truths of the world, your way, my way, and the way of each one, but not of the world around us. Good day people !!

Yeah same with 2013-14, they were huge when harlem came out and it sucks that they weren’t bigger
I wish they'd come out with new stuff. We could definitely use them at this day and age.
Man, this video is still so relevant almost ten years later... -_-
Hope these get really big :) saw them as a warm-up for FOB in Birmingham and they were real entertainers as well as just as good live as they are on the tracks!
Completely agree, fucking love them after watching them support FOB!
Yes! Saw them supporting Panic! in november and fell in love with them and then saw them supporting FOB and sung along to all the songs. It was great, the deserve to get really big!
Saw them at the Manchester one, wish I'd have appreciated them more a the time now though, they're now one of my favorite bands!
Just saw them last night with FOB in Atlanta!
Saw them last week and the singer came to my row and got right by my side it was so awesome I love fob and paramore but I wish new politics had more time
This song is so relevant right now.
If Tyler Joseph and Dave Franco had a baby... David Boyd would be that baby
+Alexabelle Macias so that's why he's so damn hot
I can't not agree though, he is the love child!
DUDE DAVE FRANCO I KNOW

Anyone who lives in San Fran should come out and see them at the Fillmore!
soren's vocals are gorgeous, omg
I don’t know if it is possible to become tired of any of your songs. They inspire me to keep creating. Excellent as always!
This song is SO ON POINT NOW IT’S INSANE
The first verse of this song is some of the best songwriting I’ve ever heard.
Omg this need way more attention
Different people of different political sides applying meaning to a song for their own viewpoint making said song relevant continuously. That’s how you know you have wrote a brilliant song.
why does this video only have 2 mil views?
Love the message. Blonde guy has a great voice.
saw them yesterday at panic at the disco.. they were amazing!
OMG I WAS THERE TOO!! was it at rock city?
Yeah it was
I remember the first time a couple friends and I saw these guys.. besides our group, there was maybe a handful of other people in the crowd. They still put 500% into it. David even started breakdancing on stage ;) I miss them.

That song is so awesome
The ice cream man sells hatred and anger. But because the youth weren't yet corrupted, they refused it.
“
+Dani Prince well the ice cream truck literally says media on the side of it so people are blinded by the "ice cream" they are given.
so CNN and TYT
BUBBLEGUM GUN basically any tv network with a political goal so fox, cnn, BBC, itv all of em are spreading political propaganda that supports that media companies political ideologies
Ooohhh. Fancy words. But I like the way you see things.
we cant look up to the past generations anymore, its up to the current generation of youths that will make the change. which means we have to actually think and look beyond the media and see whats hidden behind all the sugar coating. amazing video, great song, incredible message!!

Esta canción es tan buena, como para escucharla después de una visita a los suegros 😂

You're gonna kill us all to bring peace
Damn, it's been almost a decade since I first heard this song, and it just popped into my head today. One hell of a message it still delivers. Shame how they never really blew up.
