For all those poor souls who are suffering stress due to this issue: It's not necessarily cancer if you feel a node along your collarbone. In my case, I worked myself up to almost hysteria over a period of about 3 weeks before consulting the GP, who did blood tests and told me to give it another 3 weeks - as these things can take a while to settle, particularly after an infection. Well, about a week or so later - the lump got smaller and smaller and eventually slipped back to where it should have been. I was amazed really because I didn't expect that to happen. Well did resolve and I think one of the reasons it took so long to resolve was because I had been fiddling and poking it continually! Had I left it along it might have resolve sooner. Anyway, obviously you need to be watchful but don't prod too much as it can aggravate it swelling and take longer to reduce! IF it's still there after 3-4 weeks, see your doctor but be assured, most times it's something other than cancer. It can be autoimmune issues OR just inflammation due to infection. Get advice but don't work yourself into a stew....and good luck to all.
For all scared people, remember that most enlarged lymph nodes (even the supraclavivular ones) are not cancerous! This video talks about the most horrible diseases for an enlarged lymph node. My left shoulder blade is bad too. Then the other night I accidentally felt the lump in my chest. It is on the left side right under my collarbone near shoulder and it feels like I have a bone there since it is hard like a bone, doesn’t hurt when touched and doesn’t move as if attached inside like a bone. I realized this is odd because it was never there before and not on my right side. Also my father had throat cancer and I asked my uncle if anyone had enlarged lymph nodes ever in same place as myself and I was not expecting to find out that in fact, my father’s cancer was found due to his mass being in the same location. His was also from under the collarbone and went up into his neck and down his middle. They all tend to go down almost double in size after I work out/do a bit heavier physical activity. First node and only one that I got checked was in front of the neck, and it was 9 months ago. Hi, thanks for the video. Can i ask, what if i have so many lumps around my neck and groins, but they don't grow and have been there for years? They all are small maybe like 1 cm or smaller because they all are different in size. Should i be worried?
Solitary intensely hypermetabolic left supraclavicular lymph node. Mildly hypermetabolic AP window and right upper paratracheal lymph nodes. Histopathologic correlation of the left supraclavicular lymph node should be considered as lymphoma is difficult to exclude Hi Any one help me what is this test result means
So does it seem like a possibly harmful thing if it's completely painless, but it's also pretty small, soft and moves around when pressed? I've had such a lump above the left clavicle for at least 1-2 months, but I've always assumed it's a harmless swollen lymph node since it hasn't really changed over this time and at times it's hardly noticeable. But of course I stupidly went to google it and now feel a bit concerned since it's right on the spot every site always warns about, above the left clavicle. I've had lots of blood tests done for other reasons recently and they have all been fine. But what also worries me a bit is that I haven't really been "properly" sick in a long time, so it's hard to connect it to an infection either. I've been mildly sick or about to get sick a couple of times though.
@@rfee7 Hi, honestly I haven't even touched it all year, because I figured I was actually better off not knowing whether it's still there or not 😅But at least it hasn't become visible at all and I've had no other symptoms or anything so I doubt it's anything serious even if it's still swollen.
@@zayedabdillahaziz3151I’m good. It was just a vein I have symmetrical swelling on both sides of neck not in the clavicle region. No symptoms they are soft small moveable and are reactive nodes
If you have to search for it then it's ok. I spent a year freaking out about this node. Should i be getting my stomach checked out to just in case it’s related to something you mentioned?
Hey Serena, Quick question: Are these lymph nodes painful to the touch? If I were you, and they weren’t painful, I would talk to a hematologist/oncologist. If your history and physical are suggestive of some abdominal tumor (or a risk of lymphoma), then the next step is to biopsy the mass in your neck. That will tell you if the problem is native to the neck, or if it originated in the abdomen. Good luck 🍀
No pain to the touch. I have had a biopsy that came back benign for all of them. I do have hyperthyroidism and they are removing the left thyroid in 2 weeks. Thank you 🙏 for your response.

When the lump in my breast developed rapidly, the student NP told me the same ,,, cancer isn't painful ,,, WRONG ,,, . I had Triple Negative BC. And that lump ,,, hurt like bitch.
Is it par of the bone, or part of the tissue under the skin? To know the difference, try to move the skin over it, and see if it moves or not. You will need to ask a doctor, because the history is part of the physical exam.

The issue for me, is that we have a pandemic happening and because I am malnourished from this mess and no spleen among my other health issues, they have not been able to scan me yet due to risks. So we wait until I guess I’m actually in the process of dying🤷🏻♀️idk this whole mess for those of us with other serious issues are basically SOL until this pandemic calms down and it is quite scary. So praying for everyone NOT just dealing w covid, but ALL people dealing with ANY issues during this time! ❤️🙏❤️
You need to get that checked out ASAP. Don’t wait and also update me when you get an answer.

Why lymph nodes become Stony hard in case of malignancy?
Their architecture changes
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis actual question is - reason of fixation of lymph nodes in case of malignancies and chronic inflammatory conditions.
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis when they say stone hard and fixed in place.. could you explain what that means to me exactly? Please. I don’t know much about the lymphatic system and never had this problem before. I would say it feels hard but also kind of rubbery. I can pinch the skin over it and press it to budge a tiny one way or the other but it feels stuck in its place at the same time it isnt like a ball under my skin that can be pushed around so im confused on this
I can feel this node a bit when I push into my skin, its movable and on a softer side, pretty small, then I have one in front and one in the back of the neck, both soft, under under jaw - soft, and two harder non movable ones right behind the ear. They all tend to go down almost double in size after I work out/do a bit heavier physical activity. First node and only one that I got checked was in front of the neck, and it was 9 months ago. Is this a cause for concern? All are on the left side and are all painless.
I've done an xray of chest about 5 months ago, nothing.

Hi, How are you now?
@@ricardocardenas3216 good luckly nothing serious its because of i get COVID vaccine. My all test comes clear no sign of any kind of lymphoma
Any update on your lymph node? I am having swollen nodes since 2019 xd
@@rfee7 Hi, honestly I haven't even touched it all year, because I figured I was actually better off not knowing whether it's still there or not 😅But at least it hasn't become visible at all and I've had no other symptoms or anything so I doubt it's anything serious even if it's still swollen.

I know it’s a year later after this vid was posted but maybe 🤔 I’ll get a response? Should i be getting my stomach checked out to just in case it’s related to something you mentioned?
Hey Serena,
Quick question: Are these lymph nodes painful to the touch?
If I were you, and they weren’t painful, I would talk to a hematologist/oncologist.
If your history and physical are suggestive of some abdominal tumor (or a risk of lymphoma), then the next step is to biopsy the mass in your neck. That will tell you if the problem is native to the neck, or if it originated in the abdomen.
Good luck 🍀
No pain to the touch. I have had a biopsy that came back benign for all of them. I do have hyperthyroidism and they are removing the left thyroid in 2 weeks. Thank you 🙏 for your response.

Is it par of the bone, or part of the tissue under the skin?
To know the difference, try to move the skin over it, and see if it moves or not.
You will need to ask a doctor, because the history is part of the physical exam.
