Good morning, Eddy! I wanted to ask if you would recommend using the "Zeit/Unize" bicycle for delivery, considering it's single speed and has an "aggressive" frame. I appreciate your input as I'm struggling to decide which bike to buy for deliveries and also for longer training rides. Thanks in advance! Have a great week.
Japan has completely changed from the Japan of the past. From the 1950s to the late 1970s, Japan was in the midst of a period of rapid economic growth, urban development was booming, photochemical smog was obscuring the air, and traffic noise was becoming a social problem. Drivers were suffering from traffic jams, and they were getting frustrated, honking their horns in an uncontrollable and uncontrollable manner. They also leaned out of their windows and yelled at each other. Such things were a common occurrence in those days, and Japan was a “horn honking” superpower. In the 1980s, perhaps because of a period of stability, the behavior of drivers became more subdued than before ⛐
i was hoping for a new video today, but it wasnt uploaded, 😂 - so i rewatched this one. & while watching i ate the Matcha Monaka ice cream from 7-11 - 🍵 Dude! 40! km its insane! hell how i miss my bike... almost triggering me to see the scenery while riding bike. 😅( still! )
Really enjoyed the mini tour you gave us on your ride. Would love to see more of the night life adventures, but I get you were having your night out and not there for making content. Great stuff anyway. Hope you're doing well.
Eddie always keeps to the left side of the road, and even on roads such as shopping streets where lanes are not clearly marked, he never once shows us, the viewers, that he is "driving the wrong way." As you'd expect from a German, he follows the rules!
@humaniodorganism I know, even i know that, humaniodorganism. Please look through the top comment (92 like) in the comments section of his video “Japan is just Better” posted four months ago. It is the same comment that makes the point you make. And if you scroll down the comment row, you will see my comment as well. To be honest, there are a few things about the way he rides his bike that I find dangerous, too. However, he is not drastically deviating from the lane and is trying his best to keep to the left side of the road, like a German with an “iron will” 🗿
Hi Eddy, why don't you do some more efforts to speack a few japanese? Like saying" onegaishimasu" instead of "please", " konnichiwa" instead of "good morning"... Basics words to show respect for the country's people? Even in Hong Kong where people are used to English they appreciate some cantonese words from strangers.
he was doing that while working on uber, first he used english, then learned a few words in Japanese for the client, but now he doesn't care anymore... he has different mindset right now, he want to leave
I see you've changed your youtube channel name... does that mean you've left Japan? (I know the videos are over a week in the past, so a lot could have happened between this video and now)
Love the randomness of these videos, it's alright with me Eddy 🤘
i love running around my city for the same reason, 16-20kms, always trying to find new streets, good vid

this remind my struggle in Japan as a foreigner too.... its peacefull to watch remindind me the moment when i had a bike. i miss my bike in Tokyo.
Alright. Good easygoing vlog. You can relax a bit.😊
What camera do you use?
It’s so surreal seeing that much traffic and barely hearing any car horns. Here they would be blaring non-stop 😂
And trying to run you off the road cause you're on a bike. XD
I hear the street rats in New York City even have their own horn even though they don't drive cars
