Serious Sam Series Bosses - Part 1 of 6

This is the first of six parts showing the bosses from the PC and Console versions of various Serious Sam games. These videos show the bosses from:
Serious Sam: The First Encounter
Serious Sam: The Second Encounter
Serious Sam: Next Encounter
Serious Sam II
The SS:FE and SS:SE bosses were recorded from the Xbox version of Serious Sam. The bosses between the original PC versions and the Xbox version are the same save for the Reptiloid Highlander, which has different fireballs in SS:FE from SS XBox and SS: SE. The Reptiloid Highlander's Bride is not included because it seems to be a multiplayer only enemy :\

Giant Lava Golem (SS:FE)
Ugh-Zan III The Viscious Warlock (SS:FE) (Part 1)

I haven't seen ever such shooter as Serious Sam. Nice locations, powerful guns and effective mince. And of course game music which excites even more than gameplay. Multiplayer in Serious Sam is also impressive. There are usually many players online and it's very joyfully! Only Game Spy spoiled our pleasure when servers disappeared. But after all the solution was found and everybody can have fun in Sam's multiplayer again. In my opinion this game series is very successful!
Sancha777 What kind of solution was found? I try to access the multiplayer regime in both first and second encounters to no avail. Do you have any suggestions?

Along with Outcast, this game was far ahead of it's time. Far Cry wasn't even coming close.

You can actually encounter the Highlander Bride in SP mode. You just have to do the secret "second round" in the Tower of Babel (SS:TSE)
So many breathtaking natural places in this game
Blood has been set to "Hippie", and I love that blood setting. That was one of the charms of the Serious Sam series to set the blood and gore to flowers and fruits and candy.

Ugh-Zan was my favorite serious sam boss of all time, although i did like any boss that was huge and you had to fight from a distance.

You can find the Alduran Reptiloid Highliander's Bride in singleplayer with the "secret round two" secret
yes it is... but keep in mind that PC version has some small differences from what u see here (regarding the GUI mostly, just keep looking through the related videos and u will see what i mean).

Ravenous Basilisk It's meant to fit alongside the more cartoony nature that the series was going towards. I think the HUD looks nice.

It's the "Hippie" option in the game settings.
I used to play this all the time on my xbox i really love this game
in the ending level of Serious Sam - Second Encounter, there is a thunder storm where meteors also keep falling... never got hit by one :)
this was made long before oblivion, so its more accurate to say "Gee, now that i look at it, Mehrunes Dagon sure looks alot like that one Serious Sam boss!"
but its not uncanny, its just the basic "big giant boss demon" look that people go for

that's what made duke who he is!! his fans adored his catchfrases an one-liners. Sam is just some faceless nobody who fights pointless monsters.

I'm not solely a console player. There's plenty of stuff i play on the computer. mostly PC exclusives.
minigun is good for defeating the giant lava Goldman.
Second encounter is the best

many guns, good graphics, cartoon text with gory and disgusting monsters = a perfect shooter

wtf thats such a bloody coincedence! this video was posted on my 12th birthday man thats pretty cool to say I got this game for my bday and I think its way better than the second one.
I played the series when I was a second grader. The most annoying enemies was the flying grenar, harpie, the fish, wilbull, and beheaded kamicaze! (Because they always scream "ahhhhhhhhhhhh!")
Would you consider remaking these videos by replacing the FE and SE with the HD versions and also adding the BFE bosses?

It's the blood mode set on "Hippie"
The blood modes are:
Red
Green
Hippie
None
Man, Marsh Hoppers. There was NOTHING that could deal with them effectivly. NOTHING!

This is almost EXACTLY like Turok except without the fog effect because machines are better now.
I just got the double-pack weekend deal for the HD versions of Serious Sam(both encounters), but I like the classic better because it shows what weapons you have more easily, and you could get it in '01! :P
Got the perfect man to play 'Serious Sam' if it ever came out as a film. And that person would be 'THE ROCK'! Lolol.

go to options ''blood & gore'' and set to hippie
I have the blood setting at "Hippie".
Anyone who hasn't played Serious Sam should rot in the depths of hell.

I rented DN forever last week and I got SS (lolnazi) last year becauseit looked fun (and was, im not denying that). i'll put it in list format.

Hey you can encounter Highlander bride in Tower of Babel by soing the second round after you took the 3 things to access the tower
If Lava Golem is in Metropolis, that means another boss can take his place in Approaching Thebes, e.g. Alcor Class Warship
The Serious Bomb is like a BFG9000,
except it blows in a 9999 Range area.
Do they burst into treats?
The Flower group is a blood group replacement.

this game was aweeesome! I never got he he was able to hold the bomb without blowing his hand off though

On SS on xbox, on catacombs, u get an email about the crusher, and 2 switches are mentioned and the guy says "i wonder what they are for"

Serious Sam was made in Croatia by a development team called "Croteam".
Was around 3-4 years ago since I played the game. But its still censor mode, just another name for it.
