Have been using a little slime pump from walmart the last couple years and even from 19psi, the pump takes 10mins to get to 40psi. Going to order a 5.65 asap
My friend has a smittybuilt and I have the ironman4x4 one. They are the same. I think the hoses on the ironman are better quality. The internals are the same, like you said they are just branded differently.
correct, it is nice to have no exposed metal on the ironman because after airing up all 4 tires it will be so hot and hard to detach because smittibilt has no shielding on the metal quick disconnect.
@@overlandturtle8631 I think that's why Smittybuilt gives you the extra length of hose to allow it to cool slightly before the metal coupler and plastic hose. I enjoy the 16' hose on my current Viair but I'm looking for more CFM because it gets really hot on my 33x12.50's from 12-35psi and I'm hopefully going 37" in the next year or so. I've been looking at purchasing the Ironman myself. Unfortunately the size is 2x the Viair I have and will hopefully fit in my storage drawers. Are you switching away from portable air compressors? I have a couple rigs I use offroad so I'm probably sticking with portable air compressor to keep is portable and no need to refill like Co2.
I’m staying air compressor, I went from compressed to co2, hated it and sold my co2 set up and went to a viar 400p automatic been doing great for me but I’m on 33’s on both my 4runners
While you started the truck some during the Iron Man test, looking at the door, you didn't during the Smittybilt ... the Smittybilt runs considerably faster with the vehicle running.
Quick question where did you get the 5 yr warranty? Did you get a special somewhere? Because on the SB 2781 manual it states 1 yr limited warranty on compressors. That's the same as the ironman. I did see a general write up on SB on Amazon where it states that on some products they offer a lifetime, and some others a 5yr warranty but I am not sure if compressors are included in that category.

would be pretty cool to see one connected to a tank and used for on board air
Would be but I have no places I’m ready to give up to install a tank
Thank you for this video, I was able to get the iron man for a $100 on sale.
Nice man! They’re good compressors for sure
Did you have the engine running for the smittybilt as well as the iron man? That's why you use gloves.
Yes I did. And true but I hate wearing gloves I never use them

Truck was running full time during both test to not lose voltage and lower the compressors efficiency :)
the smittybilt DOES kick ass in every other video but not really here. strange.
Ironman is a 1 year warranty vs SB's 5 year...that's the reason for a few more bucks.
I did not know this, makes sense :)

@@mpcp27 it's a 1 year warranty for sure.
I like Maxi trac more
I recently upgraded to one I do love it
I got my smittybilt for $147.00
You grab yours on eBay? I just got mine on there for the same price and it jumped like $40 the next day lol
That's great but I got mine on line from Walmart. Never thought I'd see it there, it just popped up.
Mal video mucha palabrería para probar un par de aparatos
