Not sure that I would claim to know what someone was feeling inside about their own music though. Sometimes all of the passion maybe Express through the music not with physical gestures or facial expressions or obliviousness to their surroundings. That's more self-absorbed and absorbed in their own sound and the audience need not even be there. But I think there are musicians who are as passionate and as gifted unto don't come off that same way. That's just as an aside because she may or may not be the best in her generation I'll leave that up to you other commenters.
For example if she's not simply oblivious she seems distracted by the clapping. Maybe even bothered by it. I would be too but that's because I'm distractible and it's not usually a pretty sound other than that is so supportive sound from the audience.

When I was 12 back in 1980 and just starting to teach myself how to play guitar this was similar to what I imagined I would create, but as time went on it was obvious people just weren't ready for that kind of music yet. By the time I started playing 12 string I had evolved to more of a middle eastern sound and then on to other things. This makes me wish I had continued in that direction regardless of where people's heads were at. I've definitely learned not to follow the crowd since then, but hearing this sure makes me wish someone like her was there to inspire me when I was 12. I guess it's never to late to be inspired. She really is amazing*

Earlier today, Putin invaded Ukraine. My Grandmother & Grandfather were born there, in the late 1800’s (I’m certifiably old, lol). The radio is full of the terror & horror of the people trying to find some place to be safe as bombs rain down on them. I have been overcome with emotion for the people of Ukraine. Tash is so underrated. There have been so many epic guitarists and they belong in the same pillar of recognition as the best of them. I could be wrong, (probably am) but the techniques they use are so unique and it blows my mind when they bang out these brain bungling melodies. They sound amazing and watching them pick the strings is itself it's own show.
