With this game almost being 9 years old I'm so glad to see someone still talking about how amazing this game is, started replaying it this week for the first time in like 3 years and the graphics are still better than most games, and the gameplay is still some of the best open world gameplay out there. Truly up there with some of the best games of all time.
One of my favorite things to do in Just Cause 3 is play supercar delivery man, get the cargo jet and load car on it, strap down the vehicle with grapples, fly to the other side of the island and pray that I can land smoothly enough to be able to drive the car out again.
I've been playing this game since 2015, I was about 11-12 years old when I got it used. I saw a man with explosions in the background and wanted the game. Best purchase I've made as a kid. It's such a great game that I still play it to this day in 2024. Rico has never gotten boring for me, the physics and tomfoolery you get with this game is crazy
I have to say that I enjoyed Just Cause 4 with the thruster and baloons to attach to things, but now I got JC3 XXL on Steam Deck and I am having so much fun with wingsuit and rockets. Just liberating everyone with explosions is such a joy.
Just fun facts for players who like alot of replayability: *- You can re-opress all settlements in the game after story completion! (Yes, this in fact means that you can re-opress the whole open world), with the exceptions of some of the DLC locations (Sky Fortress DLC story locations, and one Prisoner Processing Center location in the Nebio Sud region for the Mech Land Assault DLC island)* *- Completing all shrines will allow you FREE FAST TRAVEL within islands regions!* *- When a base is finished, even under re-opression, you will still have access to resupplied beacons!* *- Gear mods can be turned off even when upgrading your character!* *- When activating re-opression in multiple set locations near eachother, it returns the opportunity for Medician Military patrols on the road!* *- Beacons can be found in/near Gas Stations alongside the roads and road 4-way intersections!* *- Beacons can also be found in Friendly outposts! (After the first liberation has been done too it, same for bigger outposts and bases!)* Your welcome! Trying to help :)
Who cares the game is boring slog where its impossible to die unless you play bad on purpose. Why have vehicle challenges if the vehicles control like crap.
So it’s essentially the “yeah…. They’ll be fine…. Won’t they? Yeah. They’re fine. They’re fine. They’re fine….” joke but done around 653 times in one video. Right. Yay.
Only drawback is them considering just "blowing things up" as liberation. Outside of that literally everything is way better. Hell even on my second playthrough I complained less about the missions because they were way easier since I was more used to the many different controls. Everything in JC4 is better.
I feel like the only thing I like about just cause 4 is the front line system it makes it feel like there an actual war on my favorite thing to do in all just cause games is to just watch all the factions battle the government in random places

games now adays are cutscene simulator ahem ahem kojima mgs, death stranding, god of war etc and i blame naughty dogs but then we have only fun gameplay like just cause 3, elden ring, GR wildlands, GTA V, Rdr 2. BUT THIS GAME I AM PLAYING IT RIGHT NOW NOV 2024 CAUSE I HAVE NEVER PLAYED MY GOD I FEEL LIKE HISPANIC SPIDERMAN/IRONMAN MOST OF THE TIME WITH THE GLIDE AND HOOK SYSTEM. Just overall the funnest gamepkay to relax with.
