I like a garden with lots of summer flowers! My father used to garden for an old lady, and she liked to buy flowering plants and replace them once they finished flowering. So he used to take them to plant in his garden, so he was always struggling to find a space for the plants!
Hi, Hedge trimming is always satisfying to watch. Looks good. Lavendar is beautiful but mum is allergic so cant have any 😢. Plenty more plants to have though. Stay Safe from Tassie ❤🙏❤🙏👍🤗
Hi Alex, you did Great on the Hedge, but my favorite is when your planting! I too have a Heather Plant, but my old one got Woody & Never bloomed after that? I dug it up & threw it away. Why did it do that Alex? Now I bought a new Plant last year Spring & it`s planted in the Vegetable Garden, it actually bloomed last year! Take care & be safe! Have a Good Work Week & have a Wonderful Weekend with your Family!! Love from Central Illinois USA😎❤
Gaz on the mower, lovely day for you both.... indeed, a mix of flora. I love the pebble drive. I see this alot in your area... is it hard to maintain? You know a crispy hedge cut...looks very nice. Well done boys
Hey thanks for watching, I personally don’t like pebble drives, but they are relatively easy to maintain. A nightmare when clearing up after a hedge cut haha
You can over pamper some plants and lavender is one of those. It prefers bog standard soil and some compost very occasionally give it a watering and don't feed, it thrives on being mistreated really!!! I dead head mine but don't trim until the Spring when you see the new shoots from the base mines over 10yrs old and still going strong.
I thought the hedge looked fine! What happens to the other side of hedge? Do you try to trim both sides? Is that tree a wisteria? Beautiful flowers hanging from it! Wonderful job. Thank you 🌹
Thank you, the other side is maintained by the neighbours. It works for the customer and neighbours. I have cut the other side before when the neighbours have been away, yes a lovely wisteria :) 😀
Oh, I see what you mean about a unsatisfying hedge trim. These are the things that a professional gardener has to deal with though. I thought it looked good when you finished all things considering. Is that a French Lavender? Nothing like digging a hole and putting a plant in, looks really nice. They have some beautiful plant in that bed. Keep well.
Hey 👋 thank you 🙏 yes not much I can do about parts of the hedge, it just grows like mad in all directions . French lavender it is 👍. Thank you I hope you are keep well :)!
Might not be personally satisfying, but you must get some professional pride in polishing a turd..... anyhoo, it pays the bills and you will have made the clients day by tidying it up and no cutting their terrible cable run!
Anytime a hedge needs trimming is satisfying. Very nice garden 🪴
👍💪 thanks bud 🙏
Love the summer blooms so much! There colors just bring so much life to the spring!
💪👍🥰 thanks for watching

I love lavender but simply cannot get it to take in our gardens. Perhaps it just gets too hot here now or something. Great video as always!
Hey thanks for watching, that’s a shame. Where are you living ?

I tie bright orange pipe cleaners on any wires in the hedge so I don’t cut them. Your young eyes are better then mine.
Ah that not a bad idea actually thanks for the tip 💪👊
