nice profile picture
Agreed :) amazing- the audio recording was a little off- something was up- but I was thinking the same thing and loved it.
True
You are a madman for this one
Ahahaha very fun to play
this is the best i’ve ever heard my favorite song
Thank you!
Best cover yet. I would love if it was recorded better
Legit one of the best performances of this song I’ve heard. Now that I’m learning to play i truly understand how hard the isolation of hands at that speed are. So much respect for you man
Best one on youtubeeee!! So accurate!!
pretty damn impressive
the best version on UA-cam! Amazing for sure
Your a very good pianist.
+JordanSFDaniel8 Thanks! I will be uploading a new video every Saturday so enjoy :)
You should do more Mario songs.
Here you go! New video every Saturday! Here's the Comet Observatory theme from Super Mario Galaxy, one of my favourite games ua-cam.com/video/y0gneGY1eJk/v-deo.html
thanks
Stunned.. The amount of keys you pressed is surreal. Fantastic!
absolutely amazing
wonderful!
Amazingly beautiful
Amazing bro!
Beautiful
Holy shyguy! This is special!
Happy new year! thanks for posting this awesome video :)
+Fady Farouk You too - thanks!

Verry nice!
Absolutely phenomenal work, especially on the arpeggio bullshit, that was fucking perfect. Massive kudos!
Underrated!
At first sight, it would seem like you were playing it with great care. The sound that comes out when you press those keys makes me relax as much as possible. The harmony between the chords and the melody are so perfect that it makes me well to listen to you. You make me remember Kousei Arima for all the feeling that the songs carry, being noticed despite being behind a screen.
Thanks for your nice comment - I really appreciate it. I try to put my feelings and passion into my performances, and I'm glad they came through! I just finished watching Your Lie in April, and released my 1K sub special inspired from it - hope you enjoy it! ua-cam.com/video/qTCiBspT4wo/v-deo.html
I watched it, Was really beautiful, **u**
Verry good
so nice
Thank you! 🙂
Genial! Bravo!!!
Thank you!
bravo
Utter talent, you have managed to turn an 8 bit song from the early 90s into a concert piece. You even included the small details that made this feel incredibly authentic, but even better than the original. Much respect to you sir, keep up the good work.
Thanks so much, it means a lot!
Toca demais!
super!
Thank you!
Underrated, amazing performance and definitely the best out there. I really like the personal additions you added to it and it’s so well adapted to the piano! What make is it?
Thank you, this means a lot to me! In fact this was recorded just as a fun take, hence the occasional improvised parts. The lovely grand piano is my school's, I can't quite remember the model but it was a great Yamaha.
did you just listen and play or was there a piano sheet you bought?! This is so cool btw. Thanks for playing this and making me reminisce about my childhood lol
Please re-upload with clean audio!! Awesome!
0:59-1:02 lord… superb
who's there at the door when you start playing? .
Nice work, I loved it.
+Luis García thanks - I can't really remember now; it was probably a teacher. I'm lucky that my school has a grand piano in the hall :)
Probably Yoshi. He's not allowed inside the castle.
Alex Lavoie Underrated comment
Yes further the best version of that great title, although others are giving really their best ! 😊
how long it does take to let the fingers so smooth flying like here ? 😅
It so cool that everyone can realize then what kind of Art was/is still "hidden" in these great games only needing a few thousand KB not mass of MB or GB😂
mid video i noticed that he sits on 2 chairs
:) haha yes
Hi, I'm wondering which sheet music you used for this rendition. So far the best Mario World material I've found are the arrangements by Phillip Kim, but I'm curious to know if there are other worthwhile scores of this piece before I jump into it. Thanks in advance!
You should replay moonlight sonata 3rd movement again on a street piano!
Can play it way better than me that's for sure
Hello amazing performance, I'm learning this are you able to let me know the keys used for the short but powerful keys at time stamp 0.56/057 many thanks
oq vc tem nas maos ?
This is amazing. Do you have the sheets? I need it in my life
Thank you! I improvised the extra part, and added extra richness on the go :) but you can find a great version without those by the 'Video Game Pianist'
If there's enough demand I might transcribe this :)
Michael Ng Piano please do this is incredible!
@@MichaelNgPiano that'd be the best. I'd love to play around with the sheets and study them a little bit
You could be a musician
booooWAAAAAOOOwwww. BooooWAAAAOOOW
Please record this in a studio with proper microphone placement!
place please the mic on the left side. Nice, but the recording ist not good.
This is DISGUSTING. I've been trying to figure out my own version of this on piano and, well, I wish it could be yours... You've got more dexterity in one ring finger than I've got in both hands! Holy crap. Do you have sheet music for this?
Did someone else accompany you at :17 seconds? Or are you just that good? No one else’s version has that little embellishment. Sounds like a clarinet or another piano.
Haha thanks so much! I really wanted to get the repeating 'F, G' bass notes (so iconic), and so I actually play them with the left hand, jumping immediately from bass F to C, then bass G to D :)
(The jumps are octaves and a half, so a bit trickier but worth it!)
@@MichaelNgPiano yours is 100% the greatest. I’ve listened to em all just because of yours 😂
Beethoven Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement ripoff
this video doesn't do your skills justice. the audio recorder is either too far -- something is going on. the sound is muffled and without clarity, for some reason. it's too bad because you have one of the better versions here on youtube.
