You are the first creator to echo the sentiment I've been saying since AI art began to boom. The same way artists can do what I can't with a pencil, they will be able to do what I can't with AI. It's always the labor that gets transformed into new labor (even if it's some sort of high efficiency maintenance for the various AI systems, meaning things it's actually less expensive to have a human do than AI/robots). The creative mind, while AI may be able to compete with original thought and internal motivation at some point, will be difficult to replace. I really look forward to many of my favorite artists that often had to fill in stories with captions because they simply did not have the time to actually create their vision, being able to produce films and games for very specific niches in a sustainable way within a reasonable time frame. We all know at least one artist that we've been waiting years for them to finish a story that 90% of the time spent is laborious busy work rather than creation. I'm really excited to see that accelerated.
I am SO glad I at least lived in the 70, 80s, 90s.. rather than starting out in the 2000's I loved experiencing the analog world and so glad I lived through it. It felt genuine, authentic, tangible. Human talent everywhere was better, music was better, movies were better -- but not just better, but authentic. All of the best elements of humanity, including being genuine, being engaged in a tangible life --were all at their peak. Instead, now we are becoming our machines (the worst element of this is not knowing what is real anymore in media). Amazing mankind is doing this to itself. We are interacting less in our work, collaborations and skill levels are down (look at at how short we are of people in high skilled jobs), we're and interacting less socially and becoming less smart, honestly. We are even losing our sense of humor. It isn't what it used to be, as we let our dystopian nim rods in our government push all of the PC'ness on us and make us all the same and not longer a world of pioneers and entrepreneurs. It's horrible.
While I think it's rather worrying for some sectors (stock footage websites look out!) I still believe that the majority of the general public will want to see real people with real opinions and emotions. I think the main issue will be what prices will be paid to these creators, given that some companies will happily pay less for an AI version of what they're looking for. I think this will purely come down to what type of content creators make. I'm a wild camper/hiker as well as try and learn about filmmaking and editing, I would never want to watch an AI generated video of someone hiking and camping in the mountains. It may look good but would lack just about everything I watch these videos for. Nevertheless, it's frightening and exciting in equal measure and I'm in no doubt some creators will suffer because of it, depending on what their area of expertise is. I imagine all AI produced videos will have to clearly state this, so as to give viewers the choice whether to watch or not. I still think people want to see real people with real emotions though, otherwise we're screwed 🤔
The AI is the way this is gonna go..like it..dont like it ..dont matter This is whats gonna happen and .. Tech alway majorly changes work landscape and always has .. What we are doing today will not be done again..
I disagree. It won't take over, it will exist alongside and within most content. You can go back as far as when TV was invented, everyone thought radio would die. When satellite TV came along everyone thought terrestrial TV channels would die but they remain still, the most popular channels when it comes to viewing figures. Then along came the internet and many thought it would bring the end of creativity but yet we live in a more creative world than ever! There is a saying, the more things change, the more things stay the same and I think this will be true of AI. People work out how to work alongside new technology rather than have some dystopian view of things. It will take a while to work a few things out but I think people will learn to embrace AI and use it to it's full potential. @@therealdeal4492
In my opinion AI is different. It’s not an evolution like tv. This is so transformative in terms of intelligence. It’s not going to grow in a linear way like tv and radio. It will grow exponentially in a massive way. Sure we can use it as a tool for awhile, but think 3-5 years from now. It’s like like trying to double down as a person selling car carburetors, or pagers.
The end game for AI for entertainment, is to be in the hands of the end user "make me a movie about spies with a love story" - as simple as inserting a VHS. Kids will swap prompts. But the AI will also be interactive, asking for details "which part of Paris, what era, how many spies..."
Microstock companies caused a backlash at first, as it gave people and corporations the option to licence pre-made images and footage at a fraction of the cost of hiring a photographer/videographer. Now there is a backlash regarding how microstock contributors will be affected by AI. As understandably unpleasant as these changes are for people in affected industries, this is a situation which has occurred and will continue to occur in any society which seeks out technological advancement.
yep. lots of disruption to come. right now. imo all of knowledge work and creative work are the walking dead. Only a handful of humans will be needed for all of that. Learn a trade, plumber, HVAC, electrician. Will be the last to go.
This video was one of the most interesting videos I’ve seen in a while! Very well done and wow…The future is going to be mind blowing and scary at the same time. The masses that are unaware of AI power is going to be misled like never before. Times like this, we must adapt, and look for ways to capitalize on the potential and opportunity…those that don’t will totally be left behind. Thanks for sharing such a powerful knowledge packed video!
I've been talking alot about the cost and the time to generate these AI videos and I agree more people should be too. If you think about it if sora is 50/month and it takes say 8-12hrs to generate a video and you only need 1 or 2 videos its actually faster and cheaper to buy stock footage. Until generating AI video is faster and cheaper (which I don't think it will be just yet) there's still a ton of need for stock footage. Plus as you said AI cant tell a story or polish an edit. It's going to be a tool and we need to embrace it and learn or fall behind.
I have to correct you on 14:47, people who were mastering Python suddenly started losing jobs very quickly. Python is a computer software. AI is affecting at simpler level already. In 5 years instructors or education industry would be totally re-vamped. it is going to get tougher. In the end it is going to squeeze wealth in fewer and fewer hands.
The ability is already out there. Ted McGrath teaches people how to create a personal avatar that looks just like you, write a script that sounds just like something you would say, input the script and have your avatar say the script that sounds just like you. And it's so good you can't even tell unless you already know.
@@jerryape4631 no you're right he does teach all of that. And he teaches how to integrate a.i. into all that as well. One of the ways he does that is teaches you various platforms where you can basically have a.i. make entire commercials for you that looks, talks like and sounds like you.
This is a really good video and one I shared with my discord customers. I think you've got a good handle on what's going on with the exception of one area . And that is the inherent and explicit bias that AI represents. We've already seen how Google can shape history in a gross manner but AIs will soon learn how to do it in a much more subtle manner. Combine that with the ability of a future AI to be able to generate a historical documentary and it's clear that those in charge will be able to rewrite history. This is primarily because nobody reads anymore and instead they get all of their worldly information from videos. Not to mention, what do we do when there are thousands of documentaries on the civil war? How do we know which ones are truthful and which ones aren't? Perhaps none of them are? Huge opportunity for massive propaganda.
Oh holy crap, A.G., I’ve heard about, and really didn’t think too much more about it but your video now got me scared and fascinated at the same time. Kinda glad I’m a senior. Don’t think I can take much more! Great video outlining the pros and cons amazing artificial intelligence wow and a great layout of explanations of what we should be thinking of. Thank you! Once again a timely vid on this new AI….
As content creator I don't see the problem, because AI don't create content. AI create texts, images, videos, ... but the content we still have to create ourself. For me I see only opportunities to create content at a more easy way and I already embraced this.
Also we should keep in mind that this is the start of the AI era and they already started creating images, videos and text. So it wouldn't be so long for it to create innovative content
The way I see it, yes, there will be AI out there and yes it will be at the fingertip of anyone to use, but. A prospective customer, be it a restaurant owner, a wood maker, whatever it may be, if they decide to use video to promote their business, they will still use the services of a filmmaker because even if they could do it themselves for cheaper, not all of them will, because guess what, they need to run their business, not do video filming/editing. I had my own company, as a business owner, you need to focus on the stuff of top priority and outsource everything else to someone competent. As a business owner and prospective customer for a filmmaker, as simple as it may seem, the time invested in making your own videos to promote your business, is time taken away from other more important tasks that you need to cover. So as you said at some point during your video, whatever comes out, be it SORA or something else, it will still fall(firss) in the hands of the people that are already in the industry.
4:54 Sam Altman did take prompt requests on twitter/X, and popped out the first request about 25 minutes later, that was a ten second long video, so lets assume at most ten seconds of video takes 20 minutes or a little more. I think that sounds about right given how fast I can seen something like Dalle 3 generate a four image group. Also I swear I hear 45 minutes said at some point witch would make sense for a minute long video.
I’d like to correct your explanation of how generative AI uses internet images as reference at the time of generation. The only time internet images are involved is during the training of the model. During training the model studies images and learns to recognize patterns, etc. Once training is complete the model has the knowledge it gained built in, and never needs to refer to any images to generate something. Contrary to common belief, the images it trained on are not inherently part of the model. This is similar to how a person might study several books on how to, let’s say, build a birdfeeder, then, using the knowledge gained, can build his own unique feeder without having to refer to the original books. The books themselves are not stored in the person’s brain, but the knowledge gained from reading the books is. In fact, generative models can run without access to the internet.
I have already seen stock footage combined with what I suspect is just a duplicate of a famous person's voice...did they really say subscribe to this youtube channel they don't say that on their official channel? Already there is a line being drawn for those who support and want real people vs AI generated content...we don't need more content, we need more connection, transformative experiences...the more content creators focus on that rather than a bunch of casino flashy garbage, the more we also are supported by people who aren't going for the next dopamine hit, are actually able to focus for more than 6 seconds...creativity is like a muscle, you could outsource and create even more yet at what cost to that creative muscle? It's creators creating with more depth and those who watch supporting them over the content generated by AI right now, not in the future but right now...while it will get harder, it will also be even more important to have shares, this guy is real check this out...
@@MrPaulXavier Thanks, love your course content, very complete and actionable...and even though course material also might be duplicated by AI, the community and your ability to keep with what's working right now isn't as easy to duplicate.
or could this be just an awesome tool for creative storytellers. is the question I also think should be asked. Will there be a lot of people that step aside because they don't have the creativity to utilize the tool correctly, we'll all it be filtered out due to " bad actors"and stifled into something that you have to pay a lot of money as a filter to get past the common troll. let alone the amazing amount of computation it'll take to achieve even simple 1 minute video
TikTok has developed a software that can detect AI and allows the viewer to know what is real and what is AI generated. I think other platforms need to adapt this type of tech also.
I'm gonna take massive issue with your point at the end where you claim that AI didn't replace writers and coders. It absolutely did (past tense). Yes, there are writers and coders that took advantage of AI to increase their efficiency and output, but omission here is that with that increased productivity from a single person, they take a larger share of the available market. If 1 person with the use of AI can match the output of 5 people, then 4 people are out of a job.
I guess it’s hard to really measure. There are always causal people who get offset by new tools coming out. I look at it more so as they didn’t learn the tool and therefore became irrelevant. The serious copywriters who embraced the tool are still working. But again how can we really measure any of this
@@MrPaulXavier I agree that keeping up with tech to stay relevant is a good idea, but the speed at which all of this is happening has no precedent and it's incredibly worrying to consider that entire industries can be thanos-snapped out of existence without sufficient time to pivot. It's a recipe for social unrest and that should worry everyone, AI enthusiasts included.
You are right that control seems to be the decisive factor as to wether these technologies succeed , putting creatives out of work. But there is an irony here that is often overlooked by the AI evangelists. In time- they insist- a granular level of human control over AI will eventually be achived. But- here's the punchline- Giving more control to the humans using the AI means taking that control away from the AI itself, it means making AI less intelligent and more like the dumb tools we already have. But the defining feature of AI is that you don't have to control it because it does things by itself-right? That's why we want the AI in the first place. So the paradox is that the more control we gain over the AI the less the AI does for us and more skill we will need to use it. Think of it this way- a self driving car has value to the precise degree that I don't need to drive it myself- it's autonomus. But what happens if I want more control of my self driving car?- maybe because it's too cautious or drives too slowly for me? Well I can maybe get behind the wheel myself in order to gain that control. But at this point I no longer have a self driving car. So AI tools that are controllable enough to be genuinely useful to creative professionals would require professional level skills to use- and we have a name for those who possess such skills- we call them Artists. It's quite funny when you think about it- if the Tech Bro's ever achived the granular level of control over their AI's they claim to want they would need the same degree of artistic ability to use those tools as I need to make art with a stylus and tablet. At which point the AI's are adding very little value to the process. The concept of the 'AI Artist' is in reality an oxymoron because the only point in AI is that it controls itself, does it's own thing. But a tool that controls itself is no longer a tool at all. it's a competitor. What it comes down to I think is this- will the market 'settle' for the inevitable compromise that AI offers, where much of the creative control is handed over to the machines? Or will the limitations of those AI generated things eventually become irritating enough to allow a space for human creators to thrive?
I think AI will help us a lot it helped me to upscale my photos and gave me instructions to get beautiful photos on the other hand I couldn’t create beautiful videos without your course even if I used AI before, so AI helped me to sharpen my skills❤
AI is definitely getting powerful, but what about travel content creators who shoot their experiences and narrate story with their storytelling skills? we won't love sitting on screen and creating same content from AI without experiencing it. few YT's are using midjourney for thumbnails and digital art, but how video will be adapted is so obscure😐
AI can’t replace the soul and authenticity of the creation process. Warm blooded creators uses improvising. The struggle is real!!!! Mankind against the machine.
@@MrPaulXavier Sure, but it's not the look, it's the fact that the media is in no way digitized. If you scan a polaroid or rip a VHS, you're back at square one. But, if the media in itself is analog I do not think there's any way for it to be easily generated by AI.
The biggest bottleneck for mass adoption seems to me is our smartphones.. generating just 1 image stalls my phone. Now an entire 1 minute video would seem like a nightmare.
Only humans can create the best images and achieve realism. UA-cam should differentiate between genuine and AI-generated content to safeguard creators..
Agree on all points! What you said with the tin foil hat scene was exactly correct. That's a creator/ antagonist learning model in AI machines. It's scary for sure, but i think the most critical thing for everyone is to embrace the future, advocate for your privacy and your profession, learn new skills, and engage with other humans!

You and I have the ability to use AI tools. But that will not exist in a world where only a building full of ai servers are the only ones that can make this. It will be as locked down as your ability to get on national tv and be seen by millions. There will be gatekeepers with agendas between you and the ability to create ai content. Your job is safe until a major corporation wants to be the monopoly that takes over an entire slice of the market.

"There was a debate around what constitutes a real picture. And actually, there is no such thing as a real picture. As soon as you have sensors to capture something, you reproduce [what you’re seeing], and it doesn’t mean anything. There is no real picture. You can try to define a real picture by saying, ‘I took that picture’, but if you used AI to optimize the zoom, the autofocus, the scene - is it real? Or is it all filters?
What does Sean at think media have to bring to light along with this video?
The content writing industry has already been wiped out. I know people who are reporting loss of clientele or reduction in work
I think AI will help us a lot it helped me to upscale my photos and gave me instructions to get beautiful photos on the other hand I couldn’t create beautiful videos without your course even if I used AI before, so AI helped me to sharpen my skills❤
AI will prove to be the greatest influence on life on Earth, in a positive way, I hope.
For creators it will only expand our minds.
I hope so too!
Thanks, I’m reminded of a quote by Winston Churchill “The terrible 'IFs' accumulate”

AI can’t replace the soul and authenticity of the creation process. Warm blooded creators uses improvising. The struggle is real!!!! Mankind against the machine.

I think it's time to invest in polaroid and VHS again. Analog recording and production methods will possibly become more valuable than gems.
Couldn’t AI replicate the look of that content though?
@@MrPaulXavier Sure, but it's not the look, it's the fact that the media is in no way digitized. If you scan a polaroid or rip a VHS, you're back at square one. But, if the media in itself is analog I do not think there's any way for it to be easily generated by AI.
Artificial intelligence generated content isn't being monetized by youtube fast enough to pay the Artificial intelligence products from openai.
The biggest bottleneck for mass adoption seems to me is our smartphones.. generating just 1 image stalls my phone. Now an entire 1 minute video would seem like a nightmare.
Everything is (non copyright protected) content from the AI's perspective.
🥲
Was waiting for my kids to turn 18 to see GOT. This guy revealed the winner out of left field
It simply will be just another tool to use effectively.
Only a matter of time before we create Ultron... Great!
Good work sensei. God bless you, your work, your family n’ the rest of your LORDS day/night

My dream in 5 years time : Sitting in a lounge chair. Write a hollywood film on my iPad ,generate and edit with other prompts. FCP with AI and boom! Then a making of video : an iphone that films me while I’m typing or talking with my ipad and then end result: a Hollywoodfilm 😊
😂😂😂😂
now we can create stocks video from paid sora then sell it on stock sites, or make a short movie then upload it on youtube.
Very true haha
Yes it is true.
I need your course
I guess, few industries like health and restaurants are good paths🙂
i disagree i think content creators can actually benifit and use this to make awesome stuff!
Did you watch to the end of the video, that's basically what I said too haha
Shit! I just brought your course😂😂😂
Haha watch till the end! Studying courses like ours and mastering the skills is the best defense to prepare for AI 💪🏻🔥
If it came that far that fast, and it did, I sadly believe you have every reason to be concerned.
05:58 is that ... a Glenfinnan Viaduct ?
I'm making a concious descision to not patronize anyone using this kind of tech.
PS - Yes, start questioning everything you're seeing, if you already weren't. This is going to dwarf all previous psyops the oligachy has been running to date.
Good Video
Thanks 💪🏻🔥
@@MrPaulXavier Hey dude, I watched your videos last couple of days and your videos are awesome. But when I analyzed your channel I found you are struggling with your video views, when I analyzed deeper I found your videos are not SEO friendly. The title is not SEO, also you have not used any targeting tags. I can organically grow your channel. If you are interested I can help you by providing some tips for better ranking , video views and more views. If you are interested I just need your time! thank you.
Ai will create jobs 😂. Everyone becomes a youtube content creator and people ain't gonna get bored because unique stock footages in every video is going be far from generic. People who adapt to it gonna be relevant bit who sh!t on ai like its soulless and unoriginal stuff gonna get replaced because people like quality appealing content not repeatative boring content
💪🏻🔥
finally, genuine creative imaginative people will get a chance!!!!!! thank you Sora A.I. cant wait
Thank you for the spoiler of game of thrones
Oh man… I didn’t even think of the possibility that people haven’t seen the ending!
First!
💪🏻🔥
uses AI music generator for the music.......smh lol
We didn’t use any Ai music in this one. Does Ai music bother you?
Everything just keeps becoming more and more awful.
Not a fan of AI?
with these thumb nails you’ll gonna bankrupt yourselves…
You don’t like the thumbnail?
Aren’t actors “acting” anyway - it’s already fake! 🤣
Hahaha sounds like you don’t like actors!
There is no real picture, full stop". -Samsung EVP Patrick Chomet
So now we have the S24 Ultra using AI..which I ave one btw..
In the future phone will be able to use all this AI and create anything you want ...any content to upload with little investment..
I am also a content creator but I see the way this is going...
So we either pivot..or look for new job
