Both have accused each other of things like murder, endangering public safety and causing war.

And no one will pay for the innocents killed in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, at least not in this life.
The Houthis were recently designated as terrorists by USA. Perhaps that'll have some effect. Houthis are those responsible, and Iran, for the insurgency and civil war in Yemen.

@@ahd207ify Although the Saudi's have immense leverage over the region, the truth is that there is not a "master", which if anything it is mainly outside powers. If the US believes that the Saudis are no longer of importance and or a threat, then the US will clearly take them out. This can be done with a shock and awe strategy by primarily working to destroy their economy. They do not need to launch a costly land invasion.

Its not because they are stupid. If they were stupid they wouldn't have gotten to be so powerful. Its all about the keys of rule. A ruler CANNOT rule ALONE. He can't build infrastructure, he can't defend the country alone, he can't even enforce his own laws alone. He needs keys. This is why a ruler has a party and a party has various members. A ruler must always give his keys to power a certain amount of the state treasury. If he only focused on Humanity, Education, Health and Job then he wouldn't be long in power. His Rivals would buy up his keys and when the keys switch position, a revolution starts and your rival takes over. Why do you think Civilian revolutions work? You rlly think a couple hundred thousand people can revolt against a state gov and win? Ofc not. The revolution only worked, the civilians were able to charge the parliament ONLY and ONLY because THE RULER lost the control of one of his KEYS. The GENERALS of the Army. If he had those key under control, if he only build 500 less schools then he would have been able to bribe his generals more than the opponent and his generals wouldn't have changed sides and let the crowd take over. Remember 1 airplane can take out 100,000 civilian protesters. A army usually has more than 1 airplane.

No, Iran started after Khomeini's announcement of occupying Mekkah along with the Iranian backed coup attempt of the Holy mosque in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia actually supported the revolution because they supported an Islamic uprising such as the one coming out of Iran. So Saudi Arabia never started anything in the conflict. The persian hate towards Arabs go way back to the battle of Qadsiya, where 8000 Arab bedouins defeated a persisn army of 80,000+. Iran and Turkey (both non Arab Muslim countries) along with Israel have all been interfering in the ARAB world for faar too long. All seem to be using religion as a way to take advantage of power vacuums in the region, which clearly show their hegemonic ambitions. To regain their Empires. The Saudis are the only obstacle standing in their way.
