I wish we had a country grocery store. You get some pretty great specials! I made a pound of butter today. Tomorrow, I plan to make biscuits with the buttermilk I got from making the butter. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well today. Prayers❤❤❤
Everything looks so tasty and delicious! Patties like that are some of my favorite ways to repurpose leftover cooked pork roast, or roasted chicken or turkey. I like to make sandwich spreads, out of it, too. I make creamed pork/chicken/turkey with peas or peas and carrots and serve over biscuits, mashed potatoes, toast, rice. So many ways to use those cooked meats. I'm with you, Billy Gene, when it comes to the seasons. I look forward to Spring, and to Fall. I don't like it when temps starts climbing into the 90s or dipping into the 30s. My comfort zone is quite narrow! lol I like what you said about "I'm doing the best I can AT THIS MOMENT." because I can relate. Somedays are good, some are great, some are not so good and I struggle to get anything productive accomplished. I wish I could shop at your little country grocery. We could visit and chat over the green onions, and fajita veggies! :) P.S. I sent you an email, if you haven't checked your email in the past few days.

Do you have a ‘live hour’? How come I didn’t know about it? I never liked tomatoes and green beans. When you are cooking your beans, it seems like I can smell the ham cooking in them. Mama always used salt pork. She had it on hand at all times. She called it white bacon. Well, I just finished making my chicken salad and it is good! I used my roasted chicken that I buy with my store coupon. You sound good today. Hope you are feeling better today. Company is coming in a couple of days. Jan and I are taking them out for lunch at a special restaurant.

I guess the only thing close to a country store we have is a Piggly Wiggly, at least it's the only store that had pork for the same price that you got it for. I like Fall and Winter....then Spring and absolutely hate summer...at least i can sleep all day under air and get up and out at night

I was worried about your eyes cause I know you are diabetic. My mother lost her sight due to Diabectic Retinopathy. They checked her eyes to see if they could help her but it was to late. They couldn’t do anything for her. I was her sight for the last eight years of her life. That’s why I was so worried about you . I was wrong it was not Macular Degeneration but I’m sure that’s not good either. It just broke my heart when that happened to my mother. She loved to drive and get out and go. I’m on the verge of diabetes. Trying to avoid it. Week I will quit rambling. Hi to Mama! She is Sweet and So Are You! ❤️😘🐝

Now that looks good enough to eat! Funny how food can take you back to childhood. Every time someone at the little church my grandmother and I went to had a death in family, all the women would cook food to take over. My grandmothers dish was always a big pot of green beans. I can see her now with her big old pot. She’d cook the green beans half the day with new potatoes, onion, bacon grease, and bacon or ham.
Just watching you now. As usual, you’re making me hungry. I had frustrating health news today. I’ve barely been able to get around & take care of my mom. Lots of mobility problems and pain. Diagnosed with Scleroderma. My cousin died with it. I hope mine is early stages. It’s genetic and autoimmune type disease. Anyway, it is calming watching your videos and how well you cook. Yes I know of this, too much cologne production, and environmental, sometimes certain cleaners trigger. Do your research and follow a suggested diet and care from places like Mayo clinic research papers online, I do allot of my lupus research... Only way as most Dr don't know or care as my step dad did about patients. Prayers. ❤️

Imagine too much collagen being a bad thing! I wondered why I don’t have bad wrinkles yet at 58. Gotta laugh or I’ll cry!🙂
