I am watching this in 2020 because I have a 57cm Weber kettle that hasn't had a deep cleaned in two years! I thought I was doing it wrong but watching your video made me realise I need to go out and get a second can of Mr Muscle! I expended a partially used can but mine has so much baked-in fat & carbon it's unbelievable! Thanks for your video, it certainly reassured me it's possible to redeem mine.

Yes it’s clean. My kettle is probably around 20 years old and looks the way it does year after year. Gets used regularly as well. Weber wants to sell you Weber cleaner for $15 a bottle when $2 oven cleaner does the job perfectly.
You drive a car and have your lights on every night in your house and you are concerned about some bio degradable BBQ Cleaner used once or twice a year. Your car does more environmental damage in one day than the BBQ cleaner will do in 10 years.
@@tightlines9873 Main active ingredient is sodium hydroxide, or caustic soda s an inorganic compound used as a cleaning agent. If you are concerned there are 100's if not 1000's of other things to be worried about before this becomes an issue of concern.
That is amazing and so much easier than some other methods I've seen. Now I know what to do to clean my Weber Kettle! Thank you.

Thanks for the feed back. They can certainly be cleaned. You can use a plastic paint scraper to get rid of the big stuff first. 👍

No, it has not caused any issues to the lawn, but I would not be doing it too often.
Weber says not to use oven cleaner on their grills, have you had anything happen to the inside of the grill after using it?

Whatever is on special. They all do the same job.
Not so sure about the chemicals flowing into your lawn and wider environment...
