This series single-handedly caused me to ditch the pellet grill, get a weber kettle, hone my stills, and I got an offset a few weeks ago. Kettle is still my favorite thing to cook on. Brad myself and my dinner guests are eternally grateful! What a fantastic hobby
This has been my single favorite series! Please keep bringing her back and thanks for the deep clean. Weber must be proud of this series too! Doc G Ranger 🥾🐍🇺🇲
I haven't done a deep clean like that in the 9 years I've owned my kettle.😂 I'm afraid of scratching the porcelain, but this vid has inspired me to see what she looks like under all that crust!
I have the only fire rotisserie (stainless steel one) for my Weber kettle and love it. Did a 14 Lb prime rib on it for thanksgiving and it came out great! I think the motor is rated for 22 lbs
I don't know what kinda magic snake sorcery sh*t you're pullin Bradley, but I swear I looked at my kettle after grilling last night and said, "Man this thing needs a deep clean but I have no clue where to start." And here you are the next day with this? I'm suspicious... but also thankful. Much love from NC
This Weber Kettle series has been my introduction to your channel. I've learned so much from your videos and pretty much exclusively use your videos as guides to my outdoor cooks. No other channel compares! The quality of your editing and your background as a pitmaster of a great restaurant in Austin firmly plants your channel as my #1 go to for bbq. I'd love to see you continue this channel as someone that doesn't have a backyard for an offset smoker like yours. Keep up the great work
Going to miss the Weber kettle series. I bought one as my first charcoal grill after seeing a couple of the videos in this series and I love it. I also have a gas grill and a pellet grill and the Weber is now by far my go to pit. There’s just something about about cooking with a real fire and managing the temps and smoke yourself. Thanks for everything you do, love your videos. My kids think your pretzel video is hilarious.
The Weber kettle is an unsung hero- started with a 22 and have a 26 now. Love all your videos too Bradley, one of my fave on YT. That said- this deep clean is totally not necessary. Plastic scraper and paper towels on lid/bowl about every 10 cooks, scrape grates before/after cooking, and then just getting rid of charcoal dust ever cook is all I have ever done for 25 years.
bradley!!! been watching this channel for a long time. we all love when you go back to the basics on the weber. definitely do a season 2 ! god bless you.
Bradley, put the cooled ash in your garden. There are a lot of minerals, etc contained in the ash that feed your plants and improve the flavor of your veggies.
Your my number one weber kettle chef. I try to mimic what you have made on this grill. I just got the weber kettle for Father's day this year and you were the first video I watched. I'm getting ready for the deep clean soon, so thank for the cooking and cleaning videos.
Pro tip/hack: purchase a hot water heater drip pan and use that as your cleaning vessel. I prefer a plastic one as they won't scratch nor dent. They come in a variety of sizes to accommodate any circumference of grate/lid or bowl.
Thanks for all the great content. I've worked as chef for 20 years in SLC. It's great that you are sharing your experience with people in an entertaining way. Thank you, I've learn a lot.
I really appreciate seeing the cleaning videos from someone like you as the other cleaning videos I have found are NOT helpful. It really makes me feel like you're giving us all a very thorough understanding of our implements and all the things that need to be done and could be done. I'm going to miss this series, but you've certainly given it a very robust go. Very excited for what's next. As always thank you for all the time, effort and energy you put into your videos!
Please keep the Weber Kettle in rotation. Most of us backyard warriors have one and not a smoking rig so having your guidance on the Kettle is much appreciated 👍
Really enjoyed your Weber Kettle series and hope that you continue a season 2. I’m a huge Weber Kettle fan, and it’s such a great little cooker for beginners like myself. I love the versatility of it. I have a bunch of accessories: vortex, slow n sear, santa maria attachment, rotisserie attachment, and love what you can do with these things. Truth be told, all someone really needs are some baskets and firebricks and boom ready to make bbq magic. Thanks for showing the kettle love. Great content as always!
I have the same kettle in bronze color. I give it a deep clean with baking soda and vinegar every 5 years or so. But I always scrape the hot grates before and after a cook, and I keep a little dust brush with my cleaning tools. I’m obsessive about brushing ALL of the ash out of the bowl before I get started each time. I also cover it whenever I’m not using it, and I store it in the shed during the winter in New York.
My father-in-law introduced me to the Weber Grill some 26 years ago. His Weber-cooked turkey at Thanksgiving is family tradition! This series has been fantastic, and I concur that it should be revisited from time to time. All that being said? I now have plans this weekend... to clean my grill! Thanks for all of this!
As it happens, called Weber today for advice on the best technique to clean my WSMC...you have answered that question in "Chud Style"...thumbs up to you...
I never owned a Webber Kettle until I saw your first series video. It’s my primary grill now and use it 2-3 times a week. Thanks for all videos on the Weber!
As a charcoal noob with only a 22” kettle, this series has been great! I have no room for a dedicated smoker so the Weber has to do it all. Thank you so much for this insightful series. I hope the ol’ coppertop gets some love from time to time!
Next series how about sides.. Ranch beans, queso, Mac and cheese,TX Twinkies.. I think that would b awesome.. love your channel.. you've elevated my cooks a great deal.. thanks so much sir..
As a manifestation of my obsession with the Chud Weber series I bought two new 70th Anniversary Edition Weber Kettles. Now it's time to get them dirty. Perhaps one day I'll graduate to a Chud offset. Love live the Chud King!
Loved the series! Agreed on weber being great value and best jump off point. I still adore my weber. Too many peoply buying fancy eggs these days without a single clue on how and what to do things. Once youve done the basics on kettle, an offset or is a step up, a proper investment but above all a great new learning experience again....
Need to replace my ash sweep - it got bent and now it won’t seal properly. Figured it was time to give it a deep clean first. This is exactly what I needed to see.
I enjoyed this series immensely, the kettle is such a wonderfully capable and yet accessible cooker. The timing was wild too, I bought a kettle (same color too!) this year and then this series started maybe 2 weeks later. Hate to see this series end.
i bought a kettle this week. Going to pick up some charcoal soon and some wood. Got myself some pork as a pulled pork trial. Looking forward to it, Brad, youve been the inspiration behindd this all.
Got a weber a few months ago since my old grill died and then happen to find you a little while after and I must say I love the weber series. It taught me alot of different ways to use it and hone my skills on it. I got a long way to go in this grilling/ BBQ journey and I'm enjoying the ride for sure
You know, I'm hoping you revisit it this year. Here is a vote for season 2. Got a guy at work thinking about trying charcoal for the first time and I recommended your channel to him because it is a kettle he is considering.
I did not know you did a series on Weber. Now I have to go back and watch them all. LOL Hope their is a playlist. I just sent this message to four other pit masters. Maybe you can join in so the viewers can compare and take notes. The Weber is a great start. Working with affordable first. This was the message “I was just watching “ are you making these 100 Brisket mistakes”. I had an idea earlier for myself to start a UA-cam channel. You did exactly what I thought of in that video. It is to show people how to use each type of cooker and talk about the strength and weaknesses of each while cooking. I will give you until the end of the year to start making videos. I only know how to maintain a in ground pit and a slow N Sear. Never used a vertical smoker or stick burner. I also know temperature inside out and cooker thickness along with space plays a part. You have more toys than me and experience. That’s why I think it would be better if you do it. I’m going to copy this and put it on Jeremy, Guda, harry, baby back maniac, smoke trails BBQ channels and see if they make it happen “ Thanks for your time and effort!!!
Great videos, Brad. I’ve been watching your channel since before you had 1K subs. Heading for a million now. I drag my Webber to the edge of the wood line at my house, slam it on the ground upside down, done. I gave $100 for it a home depo, and said, well this will last a year, that was five years ago, and that’s burning down Mesquite for almost every cook, To the point that it’s so hot it will make the grate sag. Hard to beat for the money.
Thank you Brad for the series. Please through a kettle video in here and there when you can and Thank You for the Deep Clean Tips. Need to address that before the white stuff starts flying. My Kettle sits on my back porch just outside my back door and is going to be my Winter Go To BBQ. Thanks again.
Never mind I literally just got to the part where you mentioned that lol! By the way, thank you for teaching me everything about a weber kettle because I literally knew nothing when I got one for my birthday last year and have had many successful cooks. Thanks to your videos. Stay well, brother!
Another way to remove the gunk without damaging or scratching any of the enamel is to use a Steamer with the scotch-Brite attachment, without almost any pressure the steam will melt\dissolve most of the gunk\grease within seconds and the Scotch-Brite helps with any stubborn gunk. You'll be done in half the time or faster using a steamer...
Thanks for making this series. As a guy from ATX, I felt I needed to start my pit journey and getting my first weber kettle for memorial day. Youre not a real Texan till you start BBQing!
I also have loved this series! Thanks Chud! My Weber is no longer relegated to only cooking steaks! I have since made some excellent pork ribs, pulled pork, turkey breast just to name a few.
LOVE the Weber Kettle series! Everything I cook comes off a Weber 26”! Season 2 should definitely be done with a 26er 😁 load it up and do some sides with it.
Started watching your vids right after I bought a new Weber, you have definitely improved my bbq game, thanks. Please have the Weber make a appearance from time to time, for some of us we’ll never have a offset, and the Ol’ kettle is our go to.
this series made me get a kettle. maybe october 2022 or so i decided to buy one. just got it last weekened. first smoke in a foot of snow. I did ribs, just did a pork belly yesterday. thinking of doing a brisket next.
This series single-handedly caused me to ditch the pellet grill, get a weber kettle, hone my stills, and I got an offset a few weeks ago. Kettle is still my favorite thing to cook on. Brad myself and my dinner guests are eternally grateful! What a fantastic hobby
Same here. Just haven’t bought the offset yet. What did you get?
This has been my single favorite series! Please keep bringing her back and thanks for the deep clean. Weber must be proud of this series too!
Doc G Ranger 🥾🐍🇺🇲
Anyone else feeling called out with their never-been-cleaned Weber 😳
Excellent video, as always!
I haven't done a deep clean like that in the 9 years I've owned my kettle.😂
I'm afraid of scratching the porcelain, but this vid has inspired me to see what she looks like under all that crust!
😂 my idea of cleaning the grill is getting it really hot then hitting it with a wire brush.
The cooks on the Weber kettle have been the best. Your crispy skin chicken has been the best thing cooked so far
As a new kettle owner, I appreciate you for making this series.
Weber Kettle season 2: Rotisserie
YES PLEASE! 🙌🏼
I made a custom Weber rotisserie because the Weber one only holds a 13 lb piece of meat. I got one that will handle 20. Its legit
I have the only fire rotisserie (stainless steel one) for my Weber kettle and love it. Did a 14 Lb prime rib on it for thanksgiving and it came out great! I think the motor is rated for 22 lbs
Or the Santa Maria Grill set up.
Please keep this series alive! I love it. Thanks for all your help!

Would love a season 2 or holiday special on the kettle!
bradley!!! been watching this channel for a long time. we all love when you go back to the basics on the weber. definitely do a season 2 ! god bless you.
I'd love a series 2. The Kettle is my first "proper" pit so I really enjoyed watching along.
Not sure if I should like or dislike. This series got me to pickup a kettle recently after 20 years of gas. It's been amazing!
I use my old charcoal bags for ash and dog poop. Ash works great to keep the stink down and the flies away.
I have cooked on Weber kettles for like 30 years ! They are the best grill ever ! Seems like they can do almost anything 😊
Bradley, put the cooled ash in your garden. There are a lot of minerals, etc contained in the ash that feed your plants and improve the flavor of your veggies.
I just scatter mine around the back yard. Grass, azaleas, pecan trees all get some!
Your my number one weber kettle chef. I try to mimic what you have made on this grill. I just got the weber kettle for Father's day this year and you were the first video I watched. I'm getting ready for the deep clean soon, so thank for the cooking and cleaning videos.
Just finished watching the kettle series. Best channel on UA-cam. Love all of your videos
Definitely want a season 2 of the Weber Kettle series.
Pro tip/hack: purchase a hot water heater drip pan and use that as your cleaning vessel. I prefer a plastic one as they won't scratch nor dent. They come in a variety of sizes to accommodate any circumference of grate/lid or bowl.
Cleaning vessel? Like a tray where we do all the elbow grease work upon?
Thanks for all the great content. I've worked as chef for 20 years in SLC. It's great that you are sharing your experience with people in an entertaining way. Thank you, I've learn a lot.
garden tip - take the ash and spread it around the base of your trees about 3 feet from the trunk.
I really appreciate seeing the cleaning videos from someone like you as the other cleaning videos I have found are NOT helpful. YES! Do a season 2! I have the same kettle as you. These videos have been fantastic! Thank you!

Yes to anything with a Weber kettle since it's the only BBQ apparatus I own.
Love your insight on grilling. Kosher Salt is amazing. After all these years of believing salt makes meat tough. Thanks!
I have the same kettle in bronze color. I give it a deep clean with baking soda and vinegar every 5 years or so. But I always scrape the hot grates before and after a cook, and I keep a little dust brush with my cleaning tools. Weber kettle series was brilliant. Really enjoyed the content. Super helpful in upping my grill game. Great stuff!

Sad to see this series go. Please bring it back for sure!!!
Would definitely watch season 2! Thanks for making these.. A holiday special has been suggested and sounds like a great idea.
As a charcoal noob with only a 22” kettle, this series has been great! I have no room for a dedicated smoker so the Weber has to do it all.
Thank you so much for this insightful series. I hope the ol’ coppertop gets some love from time to time!
Quick tip: Don't buy Fogo!
Go JD!
This series brought me to the channel. Don’t let it go. Please!!!!!
Next series how about sides.. Ranch beans, queso, Mac and cheese,TX Twinkies.. I think that would b awesome.. love your channel.. you've elevated my cooks a great deal.. thanks so much sir..
No!!!! this series was more than awesome, please do a season 2 as soon as possible - most of us don't have offset smokers unfortunately
Cleaned up nicely, ready for Season 2 of the Weber Kettle/Fogo series, I'll get the popcorn 😀
Looking forward to season 2 of the Weber kettle series!
This is bringing a tear to my eyes! I love this series!!!!
I've enjoyed the series. You helped me to elevate my Weber game.
Please do a season 2! Best bbq series on youtube!
As a manifestation of my obsession with the Chud Weber series I bought two new 70th Anniversary Edition Weber Kettles. Now it's time to get them dirty. Perhaps one day I'll graduate to a Chud offset. Love live the Chud King!
This might be the most satisfying video I’ve ever watched
Looking forward to season 2! I have loved this series!
Super bummed that this series has come to an end, but also thankful for what we got. Thanks for all the inspiration, Brad! Pellet grill series next??
This series is what convinced me to get rid of my crappy gas grill and get a kettle. Thank you Chud!
SERIES 2 IS A MUST BRAD.
Season 2 Plz!!! I love this series.
Your grin while you're "stroking" the legs.... PRICELESS
Yes, there is big difference between seasoned and dirty. Thanks for sharing!
Love your channel! I’ve got many smokers but came here for your Kettle Content! Season 2 please!
Loved the series! Agreed on weber being great value and best jump off point. I still adore my weber. Too many peoply buying fancy eggs these days without a single clue on how and what to do things. The way we made eye contact when you were scrubbing the legs, that earned a like and a sub ❤

Yes, I love fresh cracked pepper on everything
Loved the kettle series. So versatile. Thanks for doing it.
I LOVE all of your videos, but you just erased months and months of seasoning. Sad day!
Still got a Thumb Up... you're the BEST!
The fact that you pulled out at SNS made my day!! I just picked up a SNS deluxe grill set. Good stuff!!
Man I wish the comment wasn't a scam..id love a kamando!!
+1 vote for a Weber kettle smoked turkey for thanksgiving this year
Most versatile grill ever made.
I have loved watching the Webber kettle series and I hope to see more in the future!!
You know, I'm hoping you revisit it this year. Here is a vote for season 2.
Got a guy at work thinking about trying charcoal for the first time and I recommended your channel to him because it is a kettle he is considering.
Last weekend I took a pressure washer to the inside of my LSG offset. It looks sooo much better now!
Been a great series! look forward to seeing the ol' weber make an appearance now and then. And to the next series!

Going to miss the Weber Kettle series
Thanks for making this series. As a guy from ATX, I felt I needed to start my pit journey and getting my first weber kettle for memorial day. Youre not a real Texan till you start BBQing!
Would love a video about how you take care of your work station and cutting board!
NOOO….. I’m really going to miss this Series!
Holiday Series featuring the weber kettle singing!
Fantastic series. Weber is awesome for someone starting out. I've helped a few friends with this. Please do some videos every now and then with it.
Since this is the last series, maybe we can get a Weber Smokey Mountain series with Chuds!
I got my kettle for wedding present 37 years ago, simple cleaning only. Just a little faded black paint.
I also have loved this series! Thanks Chud! My Weber is no longer relegated to only cooking steaks! I have since made some excellent pork ribs, pulled pork, turkey breast just to name a few.
Weber Christmas Musical Special, would be sick!
Maybe not on the kettle, but for the holiday’s a smoked Beef Wellington
Loved this series! ....but dang! Kettle cleaning this weekend, Comin´up...
LOVE the Weber Kettle series! Everything I cook comes off a Weber 26”! Season 2 should definitely be done with a 26er 😁 load it up and do some sides with it.
Ugh. I get back from traveling in a week. Gotta clean the Weber when I get back. Thanks a LOT for reminding me…
Do a second part of the Weber Kehle series! Best for the backyard bbq’r
Started watching your vids right after I bought a new Weber, you have definitely improved my bbq game, thanks. Please have the Weber make a appearance from time to time, for some of us we’ll never have a offset, and the Ol’ kettle is our go to.
This was weirdly satisfying. I’m semi motivated to clean both of mine now.
Yes please! Season 2!
Good call on the oven cleaner for the lid. Mine had gotten so bad little specs of creosote/burnt grease falling on my food.
Fun series to do again.
Hi! Thanks for your tips. I just bought a kettle and it helps me a lot. You already have a new follower from Spain.
Season 2 would definitely get a watch. Could get a smokey Joe and grill something up off the grid.
this series made me get a kettle. maybe october 2022 or so i decided to buy one. just got it last weekened. first smoke in a foot of snow. I did ribs, just did a pork belly yesterday. thinking of doing a brisket next.
