I think one detail as a puller you forgot to mention is to keep a mental tracking at respawn order, especially if we are talking about aggro mobs. You dont want to be ambushed by a spawn while pulling another mob.
I have a question. Do I have to consider the lvl of the mob? I mean if the party is lvl 13 I have to bring mobs lvl 13-15? Also, how do I know when whe have to broke the chain? I have questions because, the other day our puller brought a fish, and when we where on the 4 or 5 chain (I don't remeber) He changed and brought a crab instead, and idk why.
About the lv usually parties set camp considering the highest lv of the mob so the puller can focus on one or two specific mobs to bring instead of keep checking everything. And on the second question is hard to answer, keeping the chain is always preferable I think, but if he broke he could 1-not found any more fish and the chain would break regardless if you wait for a new spawn or 2-he can be new at the game (I assume you were partying at dunes, right?) Im pretty new at the game myself so if I spoke nonsense someone please feel free to correct me.
