I bought a build a bear for my wife and was going to have a custom outfit made for it. Well no one can or wants to do it. So here I am sewing for the first time and your videos may have very well saved me. Lol
Thank you! This is very helpful. I have some sewing experience but I have never made a pattern before. This helped me make a memory bear shirt for a teddy bear as a gift for my mom. :)
This is so helpful! I just got the werewolf build a bear and they didn't have any flannels so I was gonna make him a lil one instead. This helps alot lol.
This is a great video, very helpful. I would love to see more tutorials like this. I was trying to make the hoodie but I didn't know the measurements for a bigger bear.
Hey, I'm new to the channel and I really like your videos. I just got a Curious George stuffed animal and I was wanting to make him either like a raincoat/rain poncho with boots. I can't seem to find any tutorial anywhere and was wondering if you can make a tutorial for that?
Once you make the shirt pieces (one in the back and 2 for the front) measure along the curves of the neckline of each of them then add them together (since that’s where the collar will attach). It’s good to make this extra long just in case bc as you’re sewing it on you can make it shorter to be the right size
Yes, sorry I didn’t make that clear in the video! I did measure kind of past his side seam on each side so that was me adding the seam allowance (probably half an inch on each side)
Idk if this is a tip but it’s really just the pants pattern (no elastic) with a square or what’s shape you want attached to the top! Then you can follow my overalls video: ua-cam.com/video/lNjeICfMQdc/v-deo.html
I actually have another pattern video for four legged stuffed animals! You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/WZS66B1fvW8/v-deo.html let me know if you have more questions 😊
@@LixiePigCrafts I meant the fluff material as like the materials that is used in plush socks. (i dont know the name) Also, excited about being able to use the denim! thank you!
That's a great question -- did you do the one with or without an elastic? I know the one with an elastic is huge and I'm still figuring out how to make the legs skinnier. For a future video I'll definitely do leggings or skinny jeans though
@@LixiePigCrafts I did the elastic one and yes they are big. 😅 I've been struggling with making pants for a bit. Especially when it's a bear that can sit
