It’s time for a brand new episode of Growing Exposed. We are the only show that takes viewers inside legal cannabis gardens all over North America and beyond.
And this week we are honored to go inside a sacred grow as we go to the Fraser river’s edge in British Columbia to visit the Shxwha:y First Nation Band. They show us firsthand how cannabis is becoming a symbol of hope for First Nations communities across Canada.
We learn from All Nations Darwin Douglas about the history of the Fraser River, also referred to as an ancient highway, and what it means to his people. He discusses bringing traditional values to modern day and their pride in their history and heritage.
Chief Robert Gladstone gives us a traditional welcome and we meet with Elder Bob who spent time in prison for cannabis cultivation, even though for his people cannabis has been used for medicinal reasons for generations and is considered an aboriginal right.
In the Garden Sage, David Robinson dives into plant medicine and its influence on today’s medical system. He shares his own personal experiences and gives insight on the many benefits of plant medicine.
Next, Justin goes with Chief Gladstone to the canoe room where he shares more about the history of his people and land. They also discuss how cannabis has impacted his people today and that the industry and their cannabis business has given them hope. There are more job opportunities for their people, and it has raised their standard of living in many ways.
After our history lesson, it’s time to do what we do best, and give viewers an exclusive look at the garden. They have buds the size of baseball bats and they share their business model and how they give individual growers the space to shine and take special pride in their gardens.
We start by checking out their set up in the baby room and then take a closer look at the technical side of the garden. We go to the veg room to see the Grandpa Stash strain and see what they use to optimize nutrients into their plants.
We finish the tour by checking out the fully grown plants and learn some more ways they keep them as happy as can be!
We loved learning about more about the Indigenous people’s history and how the legal cannabis industry has had a positive impact on their lives. We can’t thank them enough for hosting us and look forward to watching their business grow!
Unfortunately, that’s all we had time for in this episode of Growing Exposed. You can find extended versions of all our tours and more exclusive interviews here at growingexposed.com.

Amanda Mackay hosts another amazing episode of Growing Exposed, the show that takes you inside the world of cannabis growing and introduces you to some of the characters behind these gardens. Created by film producer Jeremy Deichen, this series takes a look into the once underground world of marijuana production; documenting garden tours, revealing product tips, and reviewing products and practices.

I’m very proud of this episode and can’t wait for everyone to see it
you and Darwin look similar, Justin, you are a role model for me, more so, especially in the cannabis industry!
I look forward to meeting you some day if im lucky👊🏼
@@vanislandbeauty4926 thanks. I’m certain we will. Especially cuz you’re from the island and this industry is so small. Cheers
Real Mexicans
Enjoyed watching his flower room 😮well & Amanda Mackay too 😊

1st time I see Justin completely overwhelmed by the quality of crop from cloned to flowers! This is absolutely magnificent! And to see Brandon's grandfather talking about his grandson with so much pride and tears in his eyes is simply beautiful!
Great job on this episode !!! High5 to Brandon!!

Yes. 100% Nice !
stoked👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Awesome
Amazing !! Really beautiful what this community is doing in cannabis industry
So true about delegating responsibility and ownership of the grow. Legit! Lot of corporate make you feel like a farmhand with no trust or faith in you!
Rad episode. Confirming my purpose to grow ….. just need the right place and opportunity to do it full time
Thanks for watching
Awesome show, thanks for sharing

Awesome episode! Not just for the cannabis, but for the hope it shows. One love.
Killling it 🤙💨
I love the way they give a room to each Grower that's badass
One day in uk 🙏
Looking lovely buys 👌
Great informational episode
thanks for watching
Awesome episode! Waiting on the next. 💪💪👍👍
❤️
This is aweome!! Inspires me to become the first in my community to do the same we need this.
This is such an amazing episode
This mirrors our country so closely. Our indigenous people have been using the plant for eons for medicine and yet our legalisation process is leaving them out and preferring big pharma.
Wonderful to see first nation people participating in cannabis
This warms my heart ❤
I'm so emotional watching this episode, the love is remarkable, love from a grower in Éire ❣️
Excellent last room
Great knowledge
Oh hell yes! Been waiting for new episodes! One of the best overall cannabis shows out there. Hands down! 💪💪🌱
This is horrible all it's doing is promoting commercially grown chemically poisonous boof, the way they're growing cannabis has nothing to do with the Native American culture we've destroyed otherwise they wouldn't be perpetuating the practices that we forced upon them. 🤦♂️
Great people producing great cannabis.👍
What takes you guys so long to put out episodes? Canna cribs would have put out at least four episodes by the time you guys release one new one. I do love the show but the wait.
He waits until he has a perfect beard day, far and few between.
They aint dedicated youtubers, they are shilling products at the end of the day.
@@BingsBuddery bro what are you talking about? They have an actual show on UA-cam and they ain't dedicated 🤔 lol 😂😂😂
@@joshdeen6730 it takes a big team of people to put out videos so regularly, and some people dont have the time or money or intentions to do that.
If youtube is making them money then they would probably do it but if its not really making them money they'll keep production low and still bring out content but itll take longer. Peace
Treat those plants with more careful handling. Throwing them in plastic bins like its a fish is crazy considering literally everything is on the outside of the plant. I treat my plants like youd treat a small child. Careful handling translates to better finished product 💪🏻
Great episode💥👍💥👍
Such nice episode😁😁🤗Happy New Year to GrowingExposed👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎄🎄🎄
Happy New Year!!
All about the light nutrient and dialing it in Looks great Oh I forgot to say the effort and the knowledge
I loved this episode, Thank you for giving attention to the Natives and the history, other tribes need this momentum of knowledge to see what they can mirror and achieve in their areas for their community
Thanks for watching!!!!
Great epidsode! i would love to see more Canadian grows also as there is alot of quality growing going on! Keep it up!!
🙌👌 💪💪 🇺🇾 Uruguay 🤙✌️🙋🏼♂️
Cannabis will lead the way of the future
The right to grow, consume, trade, buy and sell a plant does not come from humans called government.
My grandmother from Barbados also used alchohol and the plant for her joints, it's a known thing in the islands, amazing to see where we got that knowledge from
Love the video you are the man keep it up would Love to get some seeds from you?
If I ever OD on magic mushrooms this guy can talk me down.
So interesting I’m glad this is recorded for others to appreciate what goes on behind the scenes of the brands. I’m impressed by it all and congrats to this success.
Realy great show as always and so happy for the native ppl to work with the plant legally one question is Amanda getting younger each show she is such a great host 😀
She is a talent! We are lucky to have her.
I love it! Some more fellow native growers.. the ones around here go by native american names but look like straight white man but can't help other fellow native american growers.
Got me more inspired! Any content??
Hell yeah🎉
Let’s smoke
Paving the way....
Great episode.
OMG those flowers so big
I enjoyed this episode a great deal. I truly appreciate the free entertainment when you film these. I'd love to tag along at these grow ops. Ever considered having a contest to do that?
We did want to run a contest like that. And then COVID hit and we haven’t been out much ourselves traveling around. But we will definitely consider doing that.
Let go Natives Sauk nation
old school growing technique on slabs.. great results if managed perfectly would like to see the end and cutting part..

Wow. Top notch grow. Have to go buy some no shit
Not to hate but it's the strain grampa's stash is a big yeilder,he has it looking good as no burn or deficiencies, the strain don't get to frosty,i have a bunch of grampa's stash and crosses etho's did, grampa's cookies that's much frostier with good yield also, grampa's is just a big yielder mainly, good strain though 94 skunk old genetics in it.
Isn't Surname Rabang Indonesian? He looks different as well. Very Interesting tribe. Thanks for videos
Great episode, I'd love to know the strain he was growing.. WOW thanks guys
"Grandpa Stash" is the main one. Big yielder that one!!
Do you have a outlet in thialand
He said he hits grand slams to me it looks more like a base hit at best, I've been doing this for way to long, grandpa's stash he says, that's what I thought, there are way to many base hit companies out there and that's why most of them ain't profitable yet in canada, I'm sorry is there even one canadian cannabis LP profitable yet 🧐
Santa Claus brought me here
I thought surname Gladstone was Jewish. Are some tribal members mixed race? Awesome Cannabis I bet.
It gets complicated. Like my name is my father's. He was adopted when he was five. He's 100% Eskimo. My mum is 100% Lakota. My mother's family didn't have a last name six generations ago. A French missionary lived down the way. I guess he was cool and some statistics had to be taken for some reason. So he gifted his last name to us. Primeaux. I don't know if that helps but yeah. There's "mixed race" natives. My childrens mum is ojibwe.
Amanda 🤩😊
Do 60 degrees all way tho see what happens it actually pretty cool what happens
😮
😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🧡
What do you mean when its woody it doesn't uptake nutrients "goodly"? That's just stupid.
nice grow but id like to see better genetics grown. if your going to put in the work you should have the best strains too. not trying to be a dick. this what we do for a living.
growing likes its 2004 xD rockwool and salts? really? XD
love the fact that the natives are doing well...however, im not a fan of the way they are growing. very unnatural. definetly not craft growing. you can see the lack of experience.
