@@cjcadventures it’s very sad, but it had no listed status of any kind and it had been sold for “alternative use”… there wasn’t really an alternative use for that building so I think the writing was on the wall before the fire. After the fire it stood no chance.

the crooked house has moved in 2 directions over time by 4 foot at 1 end but the tilted barrel is twisted in 4 directions length ways and the one corner the back far left room goes up and tilts to the left at one end and twists in the middle drops off a few feet ,the other end twists the other way and the wall twists along the bar from front to back ,its been falling into the canel cut for years and the unstable front and rear of the pub
Apparently it was one of the most haunted pubs in the country....with multiple ghosts 👻 . Now they've been 'displaced', where will they go? .... probably some will disappear forever (like the building), while others will remain in and around the site of the pub.
That is very true there was a blond lady who would regularly be seen out side at night also a screening boy who would open his mouth and you wouldn't here anything maybe they will return if the pub gets Rebuilt 🤞

@@lindaritter1343 it would be great the Cavern club in Liverpool was recreated and people love it it also has original bricks from the first cavern let's hope they could keep as much of the original bricks as possible 🤞👍

It really is a massive loss as a kid it was the first pub I ever went to when you're a young age you always read fairly tales and going there always reminded me of the story of little red riding hood and going through the woods and I might find a wolf in the pub it's so sad I really hope it gets Rebuilt it won't be that building but at least we would still have the crooked house 🏡
I think it's going to keep us us all shocked forever but let's hope it gets Rebuilt places like the Carlton Tavern in London got rebuilt and of cause the Cavern club in Liverpool 🤞
A strange female vandalised the place about three weeks before the fire, it’s now just a pile of rubble. A big loss and very upsetting for the local community.

For 200 years it withstood subsidence but couldn't survive the evil AET Farms company run by Carly Taylor.
It's so sad that today evening is all about money no care for people and their fellings 💔

Went there years ago on a walking holiday, raining, Sunday and it was closed then, so I guess a bit more so now, a loss to our culture.
