These full flight videos...this one being over 5 hours....are really amazing pieces of video work ! They deserve much appreciation for the work put into them.
Hey Skylite. Your biggest fan checking in from dirty Jersey. This video made my day. So happy to see another 777 video, made even better with the GE90s this time. Nothing even comes close to their exhilarating spool ups. Be well, stay safe. Thanks again for all the effort you put into giving us the best aviation videos anywhere.
Hey my friend. This was a good one, for sure! The GE90s never disappoint. Don't forget, I just finished my first trip of 2022, and that report is up on Patreon if you haven't seen it yet. Thanks my friend!
i've been a big fan of civil aviation since my childhood and i like to watch these travel videos on UA-cam. But his one has something that touched me more personally. It is this passenger who touche the carling of the plane several times before boarding it. Although im an aviation freak, i have the same ritual every time i get on the plane. To touche the carling and said a little prayer. I though I was the only one in the world who does that. Incredible.
Pretty much flying blind once arriving at Southern Cali, till you hit the SoFi Stadium it cleared up giving an awesome view of the infamous 405 Freeway. Well done buddy!!
OMG, can't wait to flight again international. I used to flight to europe a few times a year. The last time was October 2019. Took photos taking off from Barcelona, and Paris, very beautiful views from my window. Flew back to the US in Jan 2020, just 2 months before the pandemic ravaging the country. Can't wait can't wait can't wait....,AA miss you!
Since I don't get to fly much...I always love the attention made to the pre-boarding part of the trip. When I fly it's always in the "cheap" seats in mostly small jetliners. These videos show me how the other world lives as far as airliners.
Man, I’m stoked that you got to sit up in biz-ness. I never knew that MIA was that big because I’ve only ever seen the AA side of the airfield. I’ll be headed through there in about 11 days, dreading going through immigration right in the middle of the day…
Oh boy, I don't envy that. I've never had longer immigration lines then at MIA. Good luck my friend! And you know, sometimes even I luck out with a well priced business class seat haha.
This has got to be one of the best full flight videos I have watched! I've always loved flying the 777 irl and from the takeoff to landing remade the incredible experience I always get from those GE90s!!!
20:35 reminds me of the Tenerife disaster where the captain (PIC) advanced the throttles without clearance and the first officer reminded him they didn't have clearance yet. Hope that wasn't what happened this time! Regardless, great video as always SP. That GE90 sounds absolutely fantastic any time of the day, wherever you're sitting in the aircraft.
You're so spoiled my dear friend 😅😅 first class! I usually need to fly on the exterior of the plane, and usually hanging onto the horizontal stabilizer! 😂 Well all joking aside, you definitely deserve first class whenever you can! As ALWAYS LOVE YOUR VIDEOS....😊❤
looked like the day I moved into my new apartment, but that was on December 27, and it was sunny that morning when I left my old place just South of LAX in El Segundo
MIA-LAX and LAX-MIA is the only time I've ever been on a 777 on a domestic route. I wonder what other domestic routes use the 777? The sound of the 777 engine startup gives me chills. Great sound capture!
Right now, there are a lot of domestic wide bodies running around. American, Delta, and United pretty much have them running on all of their hub to hub routes. American is also running some to LAS and MCO as well. High demand routes. As the world opens back up though, you'll see less and less of it.
Those are crops. Fields. Through the middle of the country, the bread basket, they pretty much farm year round. However, there's not always enough natural rainfall to sustain that. So they irrigate the fields. The circles are created when farmers use an irrigation system called center point or center pivot irrigation. A pipe system that's on wheels basically makes giant circles around the views, watering the crops as it goes. So, only the crops within the circle grow.
I remember Flying this past July on the 773 . It arrived from EGLL AKA LHR . It was my first experience on the American Airlines 773 . The Food was great aswell as the entertainment. It was clean and organized to say the least . Recommend to people Definitely. But if you are Flying over the pacific Fly with a One World Partner . The best Airlines are Trans pacific. Excellent as always SP👌. Liked and enjoyed. Also you know I wish I could fly on the 777-323ER cause it'll be a lot of fun and it's also my favorite aircraft too.
I flew nonstop from Atlanta to LAX on Delta Air Lines’ L101 just for 4 hours and 30 minutes - one more hour from MIA to LAX. I think it is because the flights from MIA to LAX would have to fly over Mexico prior to arriving LAX, while the flights from ATL to LAX fly on straight route.
Excellent video as always. One little aded touch would really be the icing on the cake. Occasionally, show a scene from the actual in- flight path screen, that shows your overland position, altitude, airspeed, and outside air temperature. True aviation fans will appreciate that extra touch to your already outstanding full-flight videos. Keep up the great work.
Another great video, thank you! What a beautiful plane. I loved the guy in front of you, while boarding, giving the plane a love tap. I also do that before boarding, I give the plane 3 little love pats. My husband thinks I'm nuts. It's like me saying "you are a beautiful plane, good plane, good plane..... 😁
Hi I don’t know if you remember me but I’ve liked a lot of your content . I will be flying spirit and Allegiant in about a month. What do you think of them and have you ever flown them?
Hey my friend. Good to see you around the comments again. Both Spirit and Allegiant are ultra low cost carriers, so as long as you go in expecting that, then they'll be fine. I've flown Allegiant a few times. Believe it or not, I've never flown on Spirit, but that's generally just because I prefer to fly on full service airlines. In both cases, you literally get what you pay for. That's kind of the whole idea behind them. If you want food and priority boarding, then you just pay for it. So they are kind of À la carte airlines.
Wonderful video as always. The quality is unbeatable :) I love when it is calm in the cabin and there are no screaming kids or elderly having chat time the whole flight... During landing, when penetrating cloud cover it is snowing! Did you see it live too? I have never seen "snow" in clouds in lets say 20000ft.
You got the best flight channel in the world, wish you had a chance to record a video on old aircrafts like B727,L1011 etc. congrats for you marvellous job which is delight us with your videos. Greetings from Perth Western Australia.
Thanks my friend! I really appreciate that. I do my best to upload the best quality content possible, so I always appreciate it when people enjoy it. You know the sad part? I'm old enough to have flown on 727's, DC-9's, classic 737's, DC-10's, BAe 146's, etc. But, sadly, technology wasn't ready for stuff like this back then. Plus, I was pretty young haha. Greetings to you from San Francisco. And no, I don't live in San Francisco, that just happens to be where I am right now. I actually live in Kansas.
Everytime I hear a GE90 engine spool up I getting goosebumps. That sound is just magnificent. I hope someday I can make a type rating for the 777 and fly it. I dont need a salary for flying it. I will do it for free. Only for the sound...
Nothing special about it. What makes it any different from all the other twin engine planes that seat 6 or more across? Flying on it blindfolded, I wouldn't notice anything different about it compared to another twin engine such as a 757. Flew on it twice, nothing to write home about. The enormous weight and size of the engines makes the rows closest to the wing much more prone to turbulence than other seats. Sitting very far forward or back is much smoother.
How do you even film this with the configuration of the first class seats? I’ve never been on them but it seems like it would get uncomfortable after a while.
So, for flights like this, I use a RAM mount to help extend my reach. So, I don't have to lean forward to film. I can just rest my hand on the small "work area" area and hold the camera where I want it. The mount I have is: www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-166-UN10U. Typically it's used only for the time-lapses you see on here, but every once in awhile, specifically when I'm in first class like this, I use it to make it more comfortable for me. So, I still don't attach it to the plane. I hold the mount on the work area but it lets me get a much better angle without killing my back haha.
Apparently I bring rain to LA, as I've landed or left LAX in rain more times than sun hahaha. Maybe I need to fly there more in the summer when the fires always happen.
@@sla31 we are definitely tired of the wildfires out here. But they are spectacular in their expanse when flying. Landed in Phoenix in August at night and there were five or six that you could see in the darkness ominous and impressive at the same time.
You should look at vegas and phoenix the . Both combined get less rain than la. I agree la doesnt get a lot of rain. Just wondering how would you define rain being rare?
@@SYDAirlineEnthusiast I'm a climatologist. I know Phoenix, SD, LV, Palm Springs get less than 10 inches a year. LA gets about 13 . Typically, rainfall out here is confined to Dec-March. Also, number of annual days with rain is important. Avg US city gets 107 days of rain a year. Phoenix gets 33 days a year, San Diego 38, Las Vegas 26, Palm Springs 15. LA 34. In comparison to the rest of the country let's just say rain out here is infrequent not rare. And, 90 percent of the rainfall falls in a 100-120 day span and most cities in the west/southwest get over 300 days of sunshine per year. Out here, you pretty know when you will get rain. It's seasonal.
Top 3 videos on your channel. Btw, my friends dad is an American Airline pilot who flies the 300 ER and also goes from MIA to LAX. Sometimes, he’ll go to LHR so maybe he was your captain
Even though I’ve never had a bad experience flying, I still get nervous with the takeoff and until the plane comes to a stop on the ground. Even watching the process on UA-cam makes me nervous.
This is definitely the best position onboard a 77W, GE90 is just stunning! But this kind of seats in business class seems to be unfriendly if you want to record video--too far away from windows
I always make sure I’ve downloaded a good amount of tv shows haha. I always use flights to get caught up on shows. I’m currently watching Money Heist while I fly.
Thank you so much for posting these videos. I am terrified of flying and I’ve been watching your trips everyday to work through my fear to prepare myself for a flight coming up soon. Your love for aviation is palpable and so inspiring.. I hope I can join you on that side. 🙏
Try not to worry that much. I fly 2-4 times a month and have less stress on a plane than when im driving. Just try to trust the plane and the pilots and you’ll have an enjoyable flighr
A lot of people have left comments that my videos were instrumental in helping them prepare for their flight/overcome their fear of flying. I hope they can do the same for you my friend!
I just flew for the 1st time last month because I wanted to go to my grandson's wedding. The scariest thing was after the plane took off and about 5 minutes later the engines throttled down and I was afraid they were about to cut off completely. I learned later that the pilot slowed down the engines to save fuel. Otherwise it wasn't bad.
Just last month December 18th I flew for the first time I went to my fiancé’s mom and dads house in Washington state I flew from Sacramento ca to Portland Oregon I watched these videos of take off and landing to get a idea of what to expect the real feeling is when your in the plane. The first time I took off I was concerned but I realized it was part of the flight. Once in Portland we landed the first time landing was kinda scary but once I boarded to come home and I definitely knew what to expect so take off and landing didn’t bother me coming home.
The aircraft nowadays are very safe. They can even fly with a part of the total engines they have, in extreme case. But this is no need to worry about nowadays. So, safe and nice flight! 😊✈️
You’d be surprised. A lot of people use my videos to help relax, unwind, or sleep. The white noise has a calming/asmr type effect. Regardless, I appreciate everyone who takes the time to watch. Thanks my friend!
1:02 the guy in front of you put all his fingers on the plane. Mad respect! I touch every plane I fly. He made sure his whole hand touched it twice!
wow, I do that too. I always felt that if someone saw me they would think I was just weird.
I also do that lol
Yup always have as well, I kinda pet it and say something nice 😂😂
same, I always do that too, it's like saying, 'fly us home safely'

Que voo excelente bela aeronave o som dos motores é de arrepiar, parabéns por nós compartilhar com esse maravilhoso voo. Deus abençoe você.
Perfeito, me senti a bordo!
Awesome!!! And, nice to see a landing in LA during the rain--which is rarity!
@@ronhyde texas gets the second most wildfires
Wow! The wings flexing.is solid metal, hitting invisible metal.air particles.
Thanks for watching my friend!
Yes!, engine view, will enjoy this one
Thanks for stopping by my friend!
Top 3 videos on your channel. Btw, my friends dad is an American Airline pilot who flies the 300 ER and also goes from MIA to LAX. Sometimes, he’ll go to LHR so maybe he was your captain
Who knows? He might have been! I'm glad you enjoyed this one my friend! Thanks for watching!
It is haha. I honestly feel worse after a flight like this than I do when I'm in coach. I have to bend weird ways to get these shots.
What’s the one thing you do on a flight especially long one how do you keep your mind busy while in the air
I always make sure I’ve downloaded a good amount of tv shows haha. I always use flights to get caught up on shows. I’m currently watching Money Heist while I fly.
great video
Thanks my friend!
Flew on a United 777-200er. All i have left is a 777-300er, A350-900, A350-1000, A380-800 and 747-800
Fabulous clouds beautiful landing and takeoff
😅 beautiful view. It's funny I touch the plane before I board too. Nervous habit I guess.
Many people do that, so you're not alone.
Thanks for the Upload 👍 !! Only 5 hours from Miami to LA . Nice..xd Never have seen the interior of a plane like that. XD
Thanks for watching my friend! I greatly appreciate it!
@@sla31 Anytime. Happy new year !! XD
I can not believe you taped the entire flight. 5 Hrs Who has time to watch an entire flight from Miami to LA
You’d be surprised. A lot of people use my videos to help relax, unwind, or sleep. The white noise has a calming/asmr type effect. Regardless, I appreciate everyone who takes the time to watch. Thanks my friend!
At the end you can always hear the adjustments of throttle aswell.
Skylite, have you flown an airline called eurowings?
No, I haven't. Not yet at least.
