I don't blame the CCRC competitors, but the numbers just haven't been there since covid. Think a lot of them are realising too there are other championships that travel to different tracks and offer better value for money. CCRC need to sort it, GT championship is dead and saloons is going the same way.
It's certainly seemed that way for a few years. Saloons I think has been ruined by chopping 3/4 of the field off for hot Hatch and whats left is the insanely fast and likely fairly expensive machines in Saloons. As for GT's the removal of protos like the Radicals seems to have been a misstep in the long run. Its a shame cos both in the past have been enormous fun, but clearly need looking at if the club wants to continue prioritising its own championships over other clubs.
