Get a H/H sailing rain suit about $700 but will keep you dry. Just have Chet buy it for you.
Wow. That boy can detail tractors
That looks more like having fun in the dirt.
Chet, have you ever thought of hooking the lowboy to the aux hydraulics on the Excavator? T in with a ball valve on the thumb?
That was a long draw on the seatbelt swing there Douggo…….
Holidays were good ehh???😂😂😂
Good to see just you and your Dad. Happy New Year to you and your whole family! A healthy and prosperous New Year to us all.
It's always kool seeing Chet and DougO' working together. Awesome video guys.
Get well soon Eric. Brody, it's always kool seeing what he gets into. He definitely doesn't stand around wondering if there's something to do, he just jumps in and does things.
🚜🚜🚜
That you see on camera
@@tigerbatman7881 I don't see any of the Larson's or anyone associated with them being any different off camera than on. One thing is for sure they don't deal with drama like some I've seen.
@@lstone.09 I wasn't saying that. I'm saying maybe off camera Brody stands around all day. Who knows right ?
@@tigerbatman7881 seriously dude, get lost. No one needs your BS or comments.
I never get tired of watching you and Dougo together, talking about ice storms , the one in western New York 1991 was nasty. I was working as a cable TV technician then and did 37 days in a row, oh boy talk about cold and windy working on poles.
Hey! Maybe see if Santa can bring you a track shovel and some tie-down chains. It will save you a lot of grief 👍
You clean around the rollers before you leave the job. Then they roll for the next days work. That is one nice fuel trailer. I'm jealous of that dozer. I love driving that size. Dougo has such a slick way of telling you to finish it. You're a doll Winny. Good video. Pax
Put some Polar Power in your tanks you’ll never have a Gel up issue. Parking inside makes it worse due to Condensation.
Here in ontatio canada, we work all year long. Every night before paking machine we clean tracks , rollers etc. Also spray diesel on metal so frozen mud doesnt stick.
Hi
Can’t you plug the hydraulics from the excavator thumb to the trailer instead of bringing a tractor??
Best wishes from Sweden🇸🇪🇸🇪
I’d put some quick couplers on the thumb of the excavator and use that aux. circuit to raise and lower the trailer. No tractor needed and you can hook the trailer back up to the excavator after it’s loaded and raise the trailer back up.
For the excavator tap two couplers in the thumb to power the trailer.
Me and Dougo are coat twins we farm in north central Iowa about 30 minutes from Minnesota love the content fellas!
*🎉HAPPY NEW YEAR🎊*
Prayers and Best Wishes to the entire Lawson Farm Family and Subscribers for a Safe and Wonderful 2023.
When I was 9 years old my dad was a heavy equipment operator & one weekend he took me to work with him & showed me how to operate a Cat D9 Bulldozer. Good times.
Yes, stay away from those nasty viruses. Two of our grandchildren in Oklahoma were affected by the flu virus over the holidays. We are trying to avoid the viruses. . . . Have a Happy New Year. We plan to return to Canada next week. It reached in the 70's today in Lawton on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023. Calgary has had snow and freezing rain. . . . Ouch!
Shovel the tracks at the end of the day everyday in the winter no issues with rollers
Keep the tracks clean
sure hope Erik gets feeling better real soon. Great video guys. thank you guys
Happy New Year Boys ! You to Miss Amy!!!
thank you
Where’d you get them invisible load chains for the excavator? 😂😂😂 Watchin&Laughin!
Happy New Years guys!! Chet. Our grandson loved his Larson Farms Struggle Bus hoodie that we gave him for Christmas!!
Chet, Dougo... there is a quick fix for frozen carrier rollers on dozers and excavators. Wad up a couple pages of a newspaper and then soak them in diesel and position them under the rollers and light them on fire. They will stay alit for a couple minutes, which is usually enough to start turning again. If not, repeat as needed. Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year to everyone there!!
Street Tracks for a farm excavator on frozen ground…Uh oh …
In you opening credits you need to make Larson Farms either bright green or black as it blends into the white background. It should POP not hide....:)😉
Shovel the dirt out and it won’t freeze..
CLEAN YOUR TRACKS !! After every shift. I learned the hard way 😂😂
just seen a battery powered chisel made by those guys you like that seemed to have quite the kick
That's a lesson learned clean your tracks out
The look on you guys faces said it all lol
Cheaper option I’ve seen guys do is a couple 3 way valves on the thumb hydraulics and put couplers on it to hook up to the trailer
This video made my day brighter! "NO HALF JOBS"!
God bless ur family and all farmers! !
Always clean the tracks if it's gonna freeze!
Hey guys, if you clean the dirt and mud from around the rollers, the sprocket and idler every evening when you shut down, it probably won’t freeze up on you. Even dry dirt will freeze.😀👍😎
Time to build or buy chocks for the trailer wheels and maybe some blocking so the tail of the trailer can't go down.
Brody frogtogg is junk you have to get the heavy Carhartt rainsuit . I've had mine for 7 years and still doesn't leak . I have probably bought 30 different suits over the years and I would maybe get 2 weeks to 6 months use . Spend the extra money and buy the best
Brohdi is worth his pay just for his cleaning skills
Damn chet give yourself more credit. IT LOOKS PRETTY DAMN GOOD FOR BEING FROZEN CHUNKS BUB. Nice work guys.
Years and years of wit and wisdom....heres..DOUGO!
you can put a old tire where the 5th wheel plate hits the ground so the trailer dont pick up sand and gravel
getting shivers just watching. Safe new year to all y'all
Happy New Year. We.sure do miss Toby.that
👍🚜🐊🍊🌴🌄 ! Florida Tartary and Green Way !!!
#1 channel!🌵🤠
totally
And if Frost Breaks your Tracks, your tracks are wore the Fack out. Front not wrecking anything that isn’t already fucked. We run cats in -45 C i Canada and never once have I ever seen frost or ice effect the performance unless one neglected to shovel his tracks at the end of the previous day due too being lazy.
Shovel your track at the end of every dam day. Grease and shovel grease and shovel. Save your undercarriage. #dontbelazy
We have crusher belting we put down on the gooseneck and that helps for the sliding...also I put a mud flap down to keep the rocks and dirt off the king pin plate...
Brody needs a diving wetsuit! 😎
Dry suit you mean.
Wet suits let water thru 😂
Question: seems you’re always concerned about your fuel gelling. Why not use Power Service or some other anti-gel additive in your fuel?
Your dad looks just like Michael Keaton 😂 I just put 2 +2 together when I was like dam he looks like someone else 🤔.
Please I hope in the spring or this next summer you plan on painting those tanks
GIT ER DONE!!! YEEHAW!!! Happy New Year!!!😁😁😁😁😁
Great video guys today video reminded me of Dad plowing the ranch ground with a Cat D 8. The owner of the ranch was very rich man, wouldn’t buy a tractor, put indoor plumbing in the house. But I loved living on the ranch with all siblings, in Eastern Idaho in the lost River valley
Rest up fully big guy.
I ran a lowboy like that we cut a piece of plywood 3ft by 3ft to sit on the ground where the fifth wheel hits and just put it up top where you pull the trailer pin out worked great
Happy New Year Larson Farms !!
Happy New Year Doug and Chet. Awesome video operating the heavy equipment. Thanks for the cab ride in the dozer . Always wanted to drive one. Definatly not a luxury ride. Hope Erics arm is feeling better
That's a cool twist on revealing Christmas gifts. Film when purchased show as after the fact gift received and Santa's surprise is preserved.
plumb hydraulic couplers on the excavator, hook hoses to it for your trailer.
Happy New Year to Everyone. Dougo be careful on anything that is steel and cold (tracks) We don't heal fast anymore, I'm 68 talking from experience. Great video!! Brode Your the Man excellent cleaning on the equipment.
dig the tracks out
Happy New Year!🌵🤠
Happy new year to you, larson family. May the Lord bless you ,be safe.🍾🥂
We use a hilti gun. To get the mud off the rollers when frozen up
Swede, gots the drip drip burn huh?😂😜😉
*Happy New Year Larson Farms. The best things will come to your farm this year.*
clean tracks = happy excavator!
Hello from Brisbane, Australia. Happy New Year to everyone at Larson Farms. Your videos are always great to watch. Hope 2023 is a great year for you all.
I think it’s a great idea the way you guy have unless exactly what you said i external pump.
We got one of the tire inflators recently from Acme Tools. Love it. Hubby is on the road all the time and it's a nice tool to have in there if you need it.
The bad part of running tracked equipment in the fall and winter is you have GOT to shovel your tracks everyday. Otherwise….you get flat spot rollers. Also I’ve used pieces of trees, grab them with the excavator bucket and push the bigger frozen chunks out of the undercarriage and then shovel the remaining bits. I’m sure you already now this….or carefully use skidsteer forks
Great video 👍 👍
Y’all need couple sets of Frogskins to suit up in for the wash bay.
That's the first time I ever heard someone say a dozer doesn't push much. Dirt perfect loves his dozers
all the best to you all for 2023
Happy New Year to TEAM LARSON
Look forward to watching in 2023 🥳🎈👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love watching your videos
Is all of your ground up there a thin black layer over clay? I have to say, those two big quads, all shined up, were a striking sight when you walked through the shop. Well done, Brodie!!!
I really like Doug now, a Dr. Pepper man!! I like too how he sees every job as an opportunity.
When you run a dozer for the US Army, the one thing they stressed was keeping things clean around the track rollers - especially in cold weather. Nothing worse than chiseling out frozen dirt from around a track roller...which I'm sure you already know. It's a five minute job when you quit for the day. Really enjoy your videos! Nice to see how well you treat your equipment.
watching you gear changing brings back memories. Would be good to get in a truck with a manual box again.
Too late Doug. Momma heard that❤️
Can we get a new farm tour with all the new equipment pls
Chet Dougo Broodie that was great enjoyed it was good not shut off hydro leak on tractor or oil leak.
As a operator … especially in the winter time always clean around everything because it’ll help you out in the end 😊
Wish you all a Happy New year. Thanks for this fantastic video. I like it so much, keep on sending them. Very entertaining.
Great video Larson farms from Bryer
And u could put hook uos on the excavator to power the trailer have the auxiliary lines hooked up and bee good to go possibly just a idea
Happy New Years from Siesta Key Florida.
If it makes you feel any warmer it 78 degrees here this morning
Happy New Year everyone 🎉🎉🎉❤❤👍😀
So nice since Dougo got over his camera shyness.
Chet and him have become reliable source of farmer humor.
Well, ya know what ya know don't ya.
Must be a Minnesota thing.
Like yuppers for yes from Michiganders.
Definitely a nice New Years day episode to watch after Sunday night football.
Happy New Year to the Larson clan,
U have to dig the mud out everyday....I'll send ya another spade boys
Happy New Year 😊💯 in lower Michigan all the snow melted and everything is a muddy mess. It's been super warm now which is nice.
You need a small construction offset disk to work up the chunks and they work great for cutting up tree roots . Used one on a farm I worked for years ago. They dozed a hill side off and I disked it and pulled a drag to gather the root pieces.
i use a gutter cleaner for washing its got a 45 for getting under van
