Yeah that’s never gonna happen. Osprey was canceled for it being used by the military in the past. It’s a shame Lego has that policy or else I’d love to buy lego tanks and stuff
Where is the Lego Technic 8856 set? I know it's a bit skeletal and that you don't like that, but it has more functionality than any of the sets you mentioned, and I got it for about $50 at retail.
I think every lego technic set I bought in the 90s contained steps in the booklet how to motorize at least one of the models, even the most basic "starter" sets had just a couple of extra steps on how to drive whatever with a motor.
At 0:25 there is a circle besides the helicopter with a text saying "Teknik som i verkligheten" it is wrote in Swedish and it means "Technic just as real life".
I'm halfway into the video and and have so far not seen a set that I was sure was going to be on the list, the 8844 helicopter. It is an awesome set. I was so jealous when my brother got it for Christmas (in 1983 I think), although I loved the 8845 dune buggy that I got as well. I really hope it shows up in the top 5. Edit: I'm really disappointed that it's not on the list. It's really awesome. It had retractable landing gear and the rotors could even be motorized. If you're not familiar with the set you should check it out.
I have the air race jet set for when it was still retired so I was glad to see it at a hobby shop I love that set and I was glad to have it I loved the video your my favorite LEGO UA-camr
I think LEGO should make a LEGO Technic AN-225, Concorde, or Boeing 2707. The AN-225 because RIP the AN-225. Also it’s big. Concorde because DROOP SNOOT. Boeing 2707 because of its swing wing mechanism.
Guys I have a question is Lego still producing the Mercedes Benz arocs? Or they maked some and they stopped making it now? I really wanna buy it and now will the prize go up now?
Will the summer 2021 sets come with pnumactics? I think they will, lego alreay is using pnumactic parts like the valves in the 42110 land rover and the new loader. Also, where do you find this information?
Not sure if you can talk now. But do you think that lego Will get rid of the classic base plates? Because when I finished building the new police station modular I noticed that there are no black pins to connect a future modular next to it. Could this mean no more modulars and no more classic modular style base plates? I REALLY HOPE NOT!
What we really need to see is a bigger and better air vehicle than the Osprey, with the full Control+ setup, new higher-speed motors, and new propeller blades that give the model the ability to fly. Something like that will go down in history as the most revolutionary aircraft set ever released.
I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work! Technic fan to technic fan :)) The Osprey is a very cool set except for the design flaw that breaks the 8 tooth gear, that you forgot to mention ;)) For a technic builder it's not a problem, that mechanism, but for someone who buys this as his first set and he's little and just getting a taste of technic, that's not very nice from a company that has so many talented designers. I think Lego is not doing so well recently, making new pieces whenever the designer can't solve a problem, releasing sets that are overprieced and bend in you hands as the ferrari does. The power functions era was that best, but now it's gone. It's a good thing I have enough pieces :))
Hi it’s just got to work with out of the toilet I got a lot going to be a good day to go get my stuff for my birthday tomorrow or Friday I will be home you guys are coming over to your help or are we going on a ride or
The osprey is just such an awesome real world vehicle. It’s truly a shame the technic set wasn’t widely available.
I have 2 off them ;)...
lego needs to re release the osprey
@@Unbrickme they won't I don't think would cause too much controversy for them to backflip...
I don’t think re releasing would be controversial. Basically 100% of the fan base wants this set to be re released
@Jackson Disher Yep managed to snag 2 off them I'm in Australia though...Im trying to swap one for a 41999....
who agrees that lego should make a 1000 piece+ technic cargo chinook without control plus because it make the set way too damn expensive?
Yeah that’s never gonna happen. Osprey was canceled for it being used by the military in the past. It’s a shame Lego has that policy or else I’d love to buy lego tanks and stuff
The helicopter set 852 has variable pitch blades; insanely well thought out for that time period.
There’s a red rescue helicopter from the early ‘90s that’s amazing, it uses a flex system to work the rotor tilt
9394 was one of my first sets when I started out in 2013. Still IMO one of the best sets you could get for $50.

Yeah I completely agree with you this set should be in the top 5
Epic video
As always
Glad you enjoyed!
@@Unbrickmeno
I agree with you mostly except I like the air race jet better than the osprey. Btw congrats on 6k!

How amazing if LEGO made a technic Working coco clock.
Wonderful!! Such a fabulous display
thank you very much

The time were there were studs on technic beams so you almost had to combine it with system parts was a great time
they still make them and sometimes use them
@@timothycole9232 I mean whole sets, like in 1990 or something like that
yeah we need a modern set that pays homage to that building style
I builded the second build of the rescue helicopter with the 2 synchronised blades he is beautiful

There's aleradyacnocrode
I have that rescue helicopter.
And the $50 water plane.
I agree with him for #1. The osprey is so good!
Love the Channel keep up the Great work 👍
Appreciate it!
Now you can add the REVOLUTIONARY Airbus H175!
it would be cool if they made technic sets with seats so it compatible with minifigures
2:41 looks so awesome 👌
Guys I have a question is Lego still producing the Mercedes Benz arocs? Or they maked some and they stopped making it now? I really wanna buy it and now will the prize go up now?
It was discontinued a long time ago
Where would you place the Airbus if you updated the list?

you should now include the 42145

@@Unbrickme no
@@Unbrickme I mean yes. YES
In that case everything is fine
@@Unbrickme oh. Yeah your right. I don’t know what I was thinking.
U should have put the Bionicle Axalara T9 in the list
Honorable mention : Lego Technic 8855 Prop Plane released in 1988
Early again :D
Thank you so much :)
Now the Airbus 42145 will take the first place :)
I'm actually going to get a, knock-off, version of the v22 osferey it's the same set just in a different box and color for £145.
This year also first bitch!
What is your favourite Lego technic set you own? Mine is the 42043 Mercedes-Benz Arocs!
Mine is 8043
@@Unbrickme nice, that’s a great set!
you forgot 8480 the space shuttle....yup....space shuttle is an "airplane" or "glider"..... I really wish LEGO could remake this with Technic.
What we really need to see is a bigger and better air vehicle than the Osprey, with the full Control+ setup, new higher-speed motors, and new propeller blades that give the model the ability to fly. Something like that will go down in history as the most revolutionary aircraft set ever released.
Why is the heavy lift helicopter šo low
I got the fire plane... I like it lol I also have/hade the heavy lift heli (I took out the mechanical stuff)
why did you take out the mechanical stuff?
@@Unbrickme... I needed mechanical stuff for other things lol as a result if made many cool things
Number one was kind of obvious, the set was so good we all saw it coming a million miles away
yep, besides that one which one is your favorite?
Almost no one technic set has a chance against 42113

i honestly don't understand using the word "play features". Why not just say functional features or something along those lines.
When are you going to post the Ferrari video
Zakaria Jami it will be a pdf file not a video, and it will be posted today sometime before 11:59 PM pacific time
Why fresh Airbus heli isn't there?
And when we could see your Ferrari rewiew?👀
This video was released in January 2021
