I like how you 1000% had the opportunity to clickbait with 9,999,999 mitigation, but simply chose to go with the humble 1,000,000 mitigation for the title
Really love the style of these videos: Great explanation; no unnecessary intros or beating around the bush, just straight to the point; together with a great way of showing everything in game. The best overwatch channel i have ever seen
1:30 interesting to see these unintuitively shaped death pits. It's a very niche situation, but I would be confused if a character off the edge is still alive but they die midway through pulling them.
And the worst is that, because because of the cars of Oasis and the train of Busan, there are many contexts in which there could be perfectly legitimate +10M DMGMIT, just you saving a teammate.
I don't see why it's worse. It simply becomes an inflated number. People put too much stock into the numbers in this game without context. All the million mitigation number should mean to ppl, is that LW saved people from pits or other hazards (or attempted to anyway).
@@possumwithacowboyhat5140 it’s not the worst but the overwatch ranking system compares you against other players that use the same hero at your skill level. Since you now know about this you could easily stand out as a top lifeweaver player and climb in rankings
@@happilyisolated If it was a niche extreme scenario, it would be just another obscure bug. But it can actually happen naturally in the middle of a game.

Blizzard somehow can't fix bugs properly in the way that would... actually fix it. They are trying REALLY hard to go around just so most casual players won't notice it anymore. Remember killfeed color bug? Yeah, it's not even properly patched if we're speaking about event ribbons (where elimination/saves are being shown). If you will destroy for example enemy Wrecking Ball mines, ribbon will still display as blue, acting like you just destroyed your teammate mine. Same applies to deathmatch scoreboard under TAB, colors are going crazy when players are changing characters or leaving game earlier.
you are literally carrying this community on its back. when I first saw your videos I knew you would become so popular because they were SO QUALITY! At the time, this is what the overwatch community needed in the barren days of Overwatch 1. Thank you for consistently making content this good and helping the general community find out about all the secrets behind Overwatch.
When Baptiste was released onto the PTR, it was possible to survive death pits with floors (like Hanamura A) with IF, so that’s probably when they added the “ignores invulnerability” aspect. Baptiste also made it possible to survive getting hit by the cars on Oasis, which hadn’t previously been designated as non-ult-charge-granting damage to heal up, so you could farm up support ult by having the whole team stand in traffic with an IF.
I recently discovered a little animation bug on Bastion Actually...2 animation bugs on bastion So for the first one you just need to go to a ramdom character(i suggest a long reload animation character, like ashe)then in the middle of the reload animation, you switch to bastion and go to turret form, this will make bastion do the old turret reload animation And the second one is not that special, you just need to stick the granade at someone and time your primary fire with the granade explosion then you slowly click the primary fire bottom and there you go,you have now an infinite granade launch animation Its not that interesting ik.
Damn, that setup on the example at 1:37 was just about close enough to an isometric perspective to make me daydream of a top down point & click Overwatch RPG.
Next april fools idea If you happen to play on oasis (car map) as symetra, you can only place one teleporter down. Randomly from 1 to 10 seconds later, a car speeds through it, breaking the teleporter, then crashes into the first map obstacle in its path
i think this guy is actually really successful irl besides this channel.. you can tell his work ethic is crazy. no corners cut, high quality everything, and above and beyond for the simplest of demos.
What's interesting is that these can be used to cheese some of the daily and weekly challenges (though the hard part would be to coordinate with the enemy team to do this lol)
I especially love this video because a lot of players on the Reddit have admitted to yoinking people at random, possibly even ruining plays on purpose, (and in comp no less) just to rack up the mit stat for this challenge. Hopefully they can all gather together and pull this in QP so they can stop.
Minor numbers bug. Simply need to fix the flag for his mitigation in those triggers and instances I'm sure. Also, excellent editing. Really enjoyed how clean everything looks and how it's all presented. 🙂
Idk but I saw bug that may be bug: in workshop if you set any heroes to 100x times health than normal and extra on settings that would be 500x times.. for example wrecking ball if used shield as 500x times health would give you 50000 over health per use If you spam a shield ability with 0 cool-down on it you could almost pass 1M hp with 11 players it allows you to give you 9M health if spammed…. this allows you to survive 1 of the tick of death zone: btw there was bug on first workshop released then you go to workshop you put health right? This health action can only go to 10000 maximum but there more better by putting array… array: array is basically a thing that it’s like group then you tape 999999999999 that means you got it if you pick tracer you get 15M health….. sadly this was fixed in 2020 some mod ruins the fun:(
Great explanation; I kinda feel life grip should actually block this damage if getting people out of pits is one of its uses. It feels weird for the lifeweaver player for sure to get a save and the person die.
It's amazing how they still haven't just added an instant kill function with special behaviour. Sure, add special types of damage, but an instant kill method would just be too complicated.

The devs can never rest with this man on the loose

I wonder when does the scoreboard break and just stops raising the damage mitigated.
Likely 9,223,372,036,854,775,807, as that's the max 64 bit value, which OW2 runs at
@@SynergyGaming112 that would be quite a sight
I wonder why those areas inflict high amount of dmg instead of just killing the heroes entering those
