The actor who plays Philip needed more recognition for his acting abilities 🥺 he literally should have been in some movie adaptation for a YA series
Tyler combines a quiet intelligence with a wounded vulnerability wrapped around a steel spine, is the impression I get from the various vids, quotes & stills I've seen.
I agree. He's subtle with the quieter character of the two, so it's easy to overlook that for the drama & noise going on elsewhere. But he portrays Philip's wounded vulnerability & steely inner core well.
The scene that I found was his best acting was when he was drunk trying to look for Lukas, he was clearly drunk but he really portrayed how sad and miserable he was, and made the drunkenness more of an after thought, which isn't what most actors do. It was well done.

It’s been 4 years but yesssss season 2
No joke I asked my self out loud " Philip You Ok?" and He said " No I'm Not" and I literally felt my heart drop looked down. It was at 0:33 but shoot it scared me for a second gave me a mini heart attack what a flipping Coincidence.
Three episodes in and the inexorable emotional pull between Philip and Lukas is so strong. You captured it beautifully.
