Hi Sindhu, lovely video as always.
2 requests/questions:
1. I had this silk saree for which I was going to do pleated style palla so I could show my necklace well but it had a heavy net on palla to protect zari so could not pleat shoulder pleats. Had to wear open palla but then necklace (close to neck) was not showing well. Did a hack to fold the border from bust area upto shoulder but is there a better way you can show? Open palla and yet show your necklace properly?
2. I had this art silk saree (very light weight) to which I got attached a nice velvet lace.. since I bought the lace online I didn’t realize it was so thick. This weighed down the saree and had two problems- the waist pleats were very weird and on shoulder while pleating them the velvet got so thick could not pin it.. had to open palla and I really like pleated look whenever I can. Any hacks/solutions?

1. To pleat the pallu, try ironing your pallu like how I show in this video. It will press and make the pallu lay flat. If you need a open pallu, pin your saree on your blouse closer to where your sleeve starts (it’s easy to show than explain, I will make a hack video soon).
2. To pin your pallu, first pin all your pallu pleats together and pin just two pleats to your blouse. With the waist pleats, please explain what makes it look weird ?! So I can give you a better idea.

The weird waist pleats meaning the border was kinda weighing down the saree and so the pleats weren’t sitting uniformly, were sort of flaring out, the outer two pleats especially.

To make sure your saree waist pleats stay in place, pin all the pleats together before you tuck it in. And pin the tucked pleats along with the inskirt from within. If it’s tough to pin from within use a decorative saree pin. This will ensure your waist pleats stay in place. I show how to do it in all my videos at the very end.
Also, make sure your very first pleat is a bit wider, it will also help.

@@WithLoveSindhu ok.i will try in English.First of all,I love your saree draping style.I also have silk saree but I have a problem with it. My front plates are very bad just like your shoulder pleats means unmanageable.that's why I need your help to manage them.
I hope you understand what I said
Ironing your pleats will help to keep it manageable. Also with waist pleats, making your first pleat wider will help to manage it.
