Silk sarees can be stored for generations, if maintained properly. Ironing directly spoils the smoothness of silk. So it's preferable to use a thin fabric over the silk and then iron on it. Nicely draped😀

As a beginner wearer I purchased one Saree sewn to fit with the front pleats already tacked in to give me an idea of wear to begin. But it still wasn't fitting right and I wasn't sure quite what the best way to wear the pallu was. This was such a helpful video!! I've been enjoying all of your videos so much!!
