Interesting fact, the inverted colors are due to the beam not being visible to the naked eye. So Osphee, Aura and everyone else just watched those ships and the foundations fortress suddenly get cut in half/vaporize out of nowhere.

The Disruptor beam is able to destroy matter, even down to destroying atoms, without causing nuclear fission. While the Turn A's Moonlight Butterfly destroys matter, it only destroys them into raw material down to sand, which obviously still remains. But with the Mighty Strike Freedom's Disruptor, it can literally make things cease to exist. It's very similar to the G-Self's Photon Torpedos. And Proud Defender emits nanoparticles which creates a shield surrounding it, which makes it immune to virtually all attacks, which means that while the Turn A is more deadly than the MSF, the MSF might be able to defend itself with its against the Moonlight Butterfly with its nanoparticle shield. If the Mighty Strike Freedom's Disruptor had wider range, it might be the deadliest Gundam of the franchise, and even if it isn't, it's still an impressive feat, since it's quite powerful even with its stock features, whereas the Unicorn Gundams, which many consider as potential contenders against the Turn A, can only reach full potential with Newtypes as their pilots. Kira literally went from Jesus Yamato, to God the Father Yamato.

Regardless of what you think of Kira's skill as a pilot, you can't deny that he's one hell of an engineer. He was one of the two who personally designed the defender, and it's even described as his child in the novel.
I agree that as an engineer, he is among one of the best. He was praised by Albert. Kira should have gone into engineering instead of piloting. He's a lot better at creating weapons than at piloting gundams.

Thing is Kira didn't bother to learn further. He relied heavily on his superior unit but ends up struggling against strong enemies, even losing in seed mode some battles (that should have normally killed him like Aegis point blank explosion with his cockpit open/destroyed, freedom explosion, the needle gun attack of Shura that planted needles everywhere on the RF). His ptsd made him think he was invincible. Although, even with movie proving he wasn't, many fans choose to believe he is because he is the ultimate coordinator. If the studio plans to create a sequel to the movie with Athrun and Cagalli as protagonists or Shinn and Luna as protagonists, I'd love to see Kira do a background work like engineering and programming while Lacus does a background work like singing or speeches about peace. Because Fukuda said that Lacus is originally meant to be a singer as while being a singer she doesn't actually use her accord powers unconsciously. So, these jobs suit them more than piloting, commanding (which Kira was terrible at) and politics (which Lacus failed at too).

Gundam SEED and Destiny already proved Kira's skill as a pilot. And an untrained one. He managed to fend off Le Creuset team, fought the ACE pilots like Rau and Rey who used remote weapons. The former even had him more in disadvantage since he only used Freedom. The reason why Kira struggled more here is because the Foundation had all his combat data from stolen Strike Freedom incident and found Kira would be overwhelmed with massive bombardment against him, something that he also got a close call during the fight against Providence.
It's funny how the freedom gundam is considered a mostly long-range unit, yet it's given a katana as its most notable feature. Ngl that is a bad ass sword though.
The Futsunomitama katana was meant for Akatsuki but given to MSF to counter the Femtech armor in close range. If MSF had its own physical blade for close combat, it would have Hindi name like how all its weapons are named.
In seed and destiny, she shows hints of her seed power where she can feel things/see things without even looking at them like same power with Deaneria from Heroic Age

This reflects how BK Cal.re.A has white and gold theme and angel like wing pattern and yet its pilot and the faction he sides up has evil intention of becoming the god of all mankind due to their belief that they're superior. The red wings of light only gives more vibe of Fallen Angel in contrast to Mighty Strike Freedom that emits golden and rainbow nanoparticles.

Personally I'd say it sits at the top tier of mobile suits along with the Unicorn and the ELS Quanta. All three mobile suits just shatter the laws of physics and if two of them ever fought each other for real, the universe would probably just end. The Mighty Strike Freedom probably sits at the tier just below that. It's certainly overpowered, but it doesn't unleash world-ending nanomachines, manipulate time, teleport across the universe, and it's not made of an sentient alien material that can regenerate itself and reshape anything around it however it wants.

I knew the katana was from Astray, but I had forgotten about Stargazer's nanomachine force field. And that disruptor beam part, idk where that came from, but 2 people explained it and I love that one of them even compared it to Moonlight Butterfly. It's great seeing Astray's and Stargazer's work in their final form with MSF.
Disruptor beam part may be the original idea created by Albert Heinlein, the creator of Freedom and Strike Freedom. Kira only designed and created proud defender with Albert as an additional powerplant to Rising Freedom. Kira however had no idea of the existence of Strike Freedom II.

The way how disruptor just sliced through the nearby ships reminds me of that one Star Wars scene when that one person warped speed into the enemy craft causing the shrapnels to have a similar effect to its surrounding ships. 😅

SF's arsenal can be countered by barbatos's nanolaminate armor, since most of SF weapons are beams it would be much harder for SF to take down barbatos, but MSF with it's katana and proud defender then there is no debate ❤❤
But was it ever a question to begin with? There's no much special about Barbatos even with its crazy tail of death. Freedom has so many guns and likely four swords. When pushed to their limits, Barbatos' pilot will suffer major organ failure, likely starting with anything needed to stay awake or see. The worst Freedom has to deal with is losing its armor and its beam based weapons, and the limit Freedom has to be pushed to make its battery an issue is evidently much MUCH MUCH more than what it took to kill Barbatos. And if we're including their respective pilots.....Barbatos is screwed. Cuz unlike Kira, Mikazuki totaled the Barbatos a lot. Like that thing was rebuilt over 8 times. xD

The disruptor would be a problem, but let's not act as though an EMP would do anything against either suit. Both Ahab Waves and GN particles already have EMP-like effects, with Ahab Waves straight up frying unshielded tech. Given how quickly the nano machines thin out, I think the Zabanya would still be able to take out SF in a battle of attrition. Can't say the same for good ol' Barby, but he can at least last a few seconds, I guess. Also, did PS armour get nerfed in the movie? Even here, we see parts of SF getting knocked off with it on just by hitting a ship hull.
The disruptor would disintegrate barbie's armor in one fell swoop. not sure abotu the Zabanya but all of its bits would be wrecked by the lightnigng attack, perhaps even its Haros overloaded by the EMP, while none of its weapons could penetrate the nanoparticle field. It's gonna be nasty.
Who would even think Barbie has a chance, even against Strike Freedom? I am a Barbie fanboy, loved the raw clashing of the steel in the series. But man Barbie is toast.
@@erlienfrommars GN composite armour is a beast on its own. One episode had the Meisters constantly bombarded for 12 straight hours and it was still keeping up with no signs of damage. You may have a point with the rifle bits, but it would only really make a difference if 00 tech wasn't already shielded against EMP, since I think GN particles achieve the same effect. Same thing with IBO tech, which is why they need LCS communication to get around Ahab Wave interererence. It's for the same reason that the MSF EMP would be useless against UC suits since they already have measures to deal with equivalent tech frying unshielded equipment. Also, you can see how quickly the MSF nanoparticles thinned out fighting against the CAL-RE, and that was over the course of minutes or so. GN particle emission lasts much longer in comparison. Again, Barby is essentially a non-factor unless he's already in super close range, limiter off, with Kira in a coma.
@@VergilsHellspawn This is where your assumptions are flawed, the fight in the movie spanned for minutes for us viewers but in their context it was fought for several hours/if not days, let's stop assuming that our concept of time is the same as the ones in the movie. The MSF nanoparticles thinned out because it used the disruptor twice in addition to the widescale lightning attack, and not because it was just fighting the CalReA, in the same fashion, the GN particle emission relies on what the GN Drive can release, which is why they have GN condensers in the first place, however once TransAM is used they too will run out of GN particles and will have to fight in reduced capacity until the condensers are charged up, there are no evidences that prove thatthat GN particles would outlast the nanoparticle emissions on the MSF, you're only basing it on your own perception of time and applying it on the show. It's also important to note that the Cosmic Era also has its own radiation shielding technology as does every Gundam universe that exists in the franchise, otherwise the pilots would bathe in solar radiation and get cancer while their electronics get fried up while fighting in the space, so it's not like the IBO suits were so special because of Ahab reactors or anything, and not all EMPs are the same, some can be extremely powerful that it disables even the hardest radiation shielding that's made, that being said, the Mobile suits in the CE universe still got fried because the EMP like attack on the MSF is not exactly your bog standard EMP, it's more like the ones used by the Gungnir except it can be precisely aimed at individual projectiles and mobile suits/warships. However while I'd gladly argue that the Zabanya would not win against the MSF, I would also not assume that the MSF can hold its own against superior units like the 00 Quanta.
Ah yes I saw this movie it was freaking awesome Lacus looks like a goddess angel saving her husband and knight in shining armor aka Kira of course and the ending where they kiss worth the wait and about damn time but still cool movie .
@@tggun6579 I have, if heero wanted to wipe out everything around him, he'd had to separate the twin buster rifle & aim while adjusting the each rifle's line of fire but Kira didn't have to, he wiped out most of his enemies in a single attack just by locking on to them. Let's don't forget that disruptor or whatever it's called in the head either, looks like the enemies don't have be to in front of the mobile suit for it to hit them, but I could be mistaken or wrong.

@@tggun6579 weapon wise, an colony laser would probably be more powerful than that especially considering the range it has. If you want to take out an large of enemies in a straight line or an colony yeah twin buster rifle would do the trick, but if you want to take out enemies in a 180 degree field of view then the Mighty Strike Freedom is op mainly because it doesn't have to aim a rifle or barrel to destroy an insane amount of targets. With the twin buster rifle the enemies have to be in front of the barrels in order to destroy them, but not this version of the strike freedom.
Ngl tho mighty strike freedom is amazing, I felt more "in awe" when strike freedom first launched. The dragoons and double guns amazed tf out of my kid self in comparison to this
It's multi lock on system can be used for the controlled lightning wave attack though. That lightning isn't just wild electric surge, it's actually controlled through the nanoparticles to hit specific targets. And if the HGCE manual means it, the lightning can destroy more than just projectiles and gunpods.

I would love to make a gunpla that combines the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam with Gundam Helios. I would probably replace the Disruptor with the ZZ Gundam’s Mega Particle Cannon though. Imagine it, Helios’ Sestet Cannon combined with the Strike Freedom’s attached beam weapons and fin funnels, plus ZZ’s Mega Particle Cannon. That’s TWENTY beams firing at once!

It is basically one of the top 10 MS weapons now, it can disrupt nuclear fission and disintegrate atoms as well.
Even thought it was not fighting at full capacity due to almost every beam weapons being destroyed, that new backpack made all the difference.

He relied heavily on his superior unit but ends up struggling against strong enemies, even losing in seed mode some battles (that should have normally killed him like Aegis point blank explosion with his cockpit open/destroyed, freedom explosion, the needle gun attack of Shura that planted needles everywhere on the RF). His ptsd made him think he was invincible. Although, even with movie proving he wasn't, many fans choose to believe he is because he is the ultimate coordinator.
If the studio plans to create a sequel to the movie with Athrun and Cagalli as protagonists or Shinn and Luna as protagonists, I'd love to see Kira do a background work like engineering and programming while Lacus does a background work like singing or speeches about peace. Because Fukuda said that Lacus is originally meant to be a singer as while being a singer she doesn't actually use her accord powers unconsciously. So, these jobs suit them more than piloting, commanding (which Kira was terrible at) and politics (which Lacus failed at too).

Gundam SEED and Destiny already proved Kira's skill as a pilot. And an untrained one.
He managed to fend off Le Creuset team, fought the ACE pilots like Rau and Rey who used remote weapons. The former even had him more in disadvantage since he only used Freedom.
The reason why Kira struggled more here is because the Foundation had all his combat data from stolen Strike Freedom incident and found Kira would be overwhelmed with massive bombardment against him, something that he also got a close call during the fight against Providence.
When the battle changed from them pushing back kira with sheer numbers and higher spec ms, once kira gained beam immunity as well the battle was over.

Personally I'd say it sits at the top tier of mobile suits along with the Unicorn and the ELS Quanta. All three mobile suits just shatter the laws of physics and if two of them ever fought each other for real, the universe would probably just end. The Mighty Strike Freedom probably sits at the tier just below that. It's certainly overpowered, but it doesn't unleash world-ending nanomachines, manipulate time, teleport across the universe, and it's not made of an sentient alien material that can regenerate itself and reshape anything around it however it wants.
With shinn's kage bunshin and Freedom sparky2 boom man laser, CE gundam is now closer to the realm of G.

I knew the katana was from Astray, but I had forgotten about Stargazer's nanomachine force field. And that disruptor beam part, idk where that came from, but 2 people explained it and I love that one of them even compared it to Moonlight Butterfly. It's great seeing Astray's and Stargazer's work in their final form with MSF.
Disruptor beam part may be the original idea created by Albert Heinlein, the creator of Freedom and Strike Freedom.
Kira only designed and created proud defender with Albert as an additional powerplant to Rising Freedom. Kira however had no idea of the existence of Strike Freedom II.

SF's arsenal can be countered by barbatos's nanolaminate armor, since most of SF weapons are beams it would be much harder for SF to take down barbatos, but MSF with it's katana and proud defender then there is no debate ❤❤
But was it ever a question to begin with? There's no much special about Barbatos even with its crazy tail of death. Freedom has so many guns and likely four swords. When pushed to their limits, Barbatos' pilot will suffer major organ failure, likely starting with anything needed to stay awake or see. The worst Freedom has to deal with is losing its armor and its beam based weapons, and the limit Freedom has to be pushed to make its battery an issue is evidently much MUCH MUCH more than what it took to kill Barbatos.
And if we're including their respective pilots.....Barbatos is screwed. Cuz unlike Kira, Mikazuki totaled the Barbatos a lot. Like that thing was rebuilt over 8 times. xD

The disruptor would be a problem, but let's not act as though an EMP would do anything against either suit. Both Ahab Waves and GN particles already have EMP-like effects, with Ahab Waves straight up frying unshielded tech.
Given how quickly the nano machines thin out, I think the Zabanya would still be able to take out SF in a battle of attrition. Can't say the same for good ol' Barby, but he can at least last a few seconds, I guess. Also, did PS armour get nerfed in the movie? Even here, we see parts of SF getting knocked off with it on just by hitting a ship hull.
The disruptor would disintegrate barbie's armor in one fell swoop. not sure abotu the Zabanya but all of its bits would be wrecked by the lightnigng attack, perhaps even its Haros overloaded by the EMP, while none of its weapons could penetrate the nanoparticle field. It's gonna be nasty.
Who would even think Barbie has a chance, even against Strike Freedom? I am a Barbie fanboy, loved the raw clashing of the steel in the series. But man Barbie is toast.
@@erlienfrommars GN composite armour is a beast on its own. One episode had the Meisters constantly bombarded for 12 straight hours and it was still keeping up with no signs of damage. You may have a point with the rifle bits, but it would only really make a difference if 00 tech wasn't already shielded against EMP, since I think GN particles achieve the same effect. Same thing with IBO tech, which is why they need LCS communication to get around Ahab Wave interererence. It's for the same reason that the MSF EMP would be useless against UC suits since they already have measures to deal with equivalent tech frying unshielded equipment.
Also, you can see how quickly the MSF nanoparticles thinned out fighting against the CAL-RE, and that was over the course of minutes or so. GN particle emission lasts much longer in comparison.
Again, Barby is essentially a non-factor unless he's already in super close range, limiter off, with Kira in a coma.
@@VergilsHellspawn This is where your assumptions are flawed, the fight in the movie spanned for minutes for us viewers but in their context it was fought for several hours/if not days, let's stop assuming that our concept of time is the same as the ones in the movie.
The MSF nanoparticles thinned out because it used the disruptor twice in addition to the widescale lightning attack, and not because it was just fighting the CalReA, in the same fashion, the GN particle emission relies on what the GN Drive can release, which is why they have GN condensers in the first place, however once TransAM is used they too will run out of GN particles and will have to fight in reduced capacity until the condensers are charged up, there are no evidences that prove thatthat GN particles would outlast the nanoparticle emissions on the MSF, you're only basing it on your own perception of time and applying it on the show.
It's also important to note that the Cosmic Era also has its own radiation shielding technology as does every Gundam universe that exists in the franchise, otherwise the pilots would bathe in solar radiation and get cancer while their electronics get fried up while fighting in the space, so it's not like the IBO suits were so special because of Ahab reactors or anything, and not all EMPs are the same, some can be extremely powerful that it disables even the hardest radiation shielding that's made, that being said, the Mobile suits in the CE universe still got fried because the EMP like attack on the MSF is not exactly your bog standard EMP, it's more like the ones used by the Gungnir except it can be precisely aimed at individual projectiles and mobile suits/warships.
However while I'd gladly argue that the Zabanya would not win against the MSF, I would also not assume that the MSF can hold its own against superior units like the 00 Quanta.

@@tggun6579 weapon wise, an colony laser would probably be more powerful than that especially considering the range it has. If you want to take out an large of enemies in a straight line or an colony yeah twin buster rifle would do the trick, but if you want to take out enemies in a 180 degree field of view then the Mighty Strike Freedom is op mainly because it doesn't have to aim a rifle or barrel to destroy an insane amount of targets. With the twin buster rifle the enemies have to be in front of the barrels in order to destroy them, but not this version of the strike freedom.

It's multi lock on system can be used for the controlled lightning wave attack though.
That lightning isn't just wild electric surge, it's actually controlled through the nanoparticles to hit specific targets.
And if the HGCE manual means it, the lightning can destroy more than just projectiles and gunpods.

I would love to make a gunpla that combines the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam with Gundam Helios. I would probably replace the Disruptor with the ZZ Gundam’s Mega Particle Cannon though. 마이티 스트라이크 프리덤은 그냥 스트라이크 프리덤 2식에 프라우드 디펜더로 교체 및 합체하여 업그레이드한 모델로 새로 만든게 아니라 스트라이크 프리덤 2식을 업그레이드만 한것이다.왜냐하면 스트라이크 프리덤 2식은 실험용으로 복원 시켜버린 바람에 엄청난 가능성을 많이 두었기 때문이다.
마이티 스트라이크 프리덤의 무장은 스트라이크 프리덤 2식과 유사하지만 등뒤에 있는 드라군 시스템만 교체했기 때문에 무장이 바뀌어졌다.

이렇게 변경이 된다.게다가 디스럽터는 마이티 프리덤 상태이어야만 사용할수 있으며 오로직 컴퍼스의 총재인 라크스 클라인의 승인이 있어야 사용할수 있다.어차피 키라가 말하면 라크스는 다 승인해줄테니 별 문제는 없다.
하지만 프라우드 디펜더는 원래 라이징 프리덤 전용 장비였는데 라이징 프리덤이 작살나버린 바람에 스트라이크 프리덤 2식으로 서둘러 재조정해서 사용할수밖에 없었다.
원래 디스럽터는 커맨드 앤 컨커 타이베리안 선의 GDI 병기인 디스럽터가 먼저 사용되었으며 근데 여기와는 다르게 디스럽터에는 음파 수정이 탑제된 음파 방사기로 푸르딩딩한 크고 아름다운 빔을 쏴서 건물을 그대로 분해시켜버리는 무시무시한 능력을 가졌다.물론 마이티 프리덤의 디스럽터는 실같은 레이저 빔을 쏴서 그대로 폭발도 없이 싹둑 절단 시키는 위력을 가졌으며 메사이어 잔해까지 싹둑 짤라버리면서 작살 내버릴수 있다.
