- bit of a change to my usual DAFs but with a new Air Processing Unit fitted to this RENAULT truck, the workshop was without a means to program the new unit so Jaltest was able to provide the ability through KNORR-BREMSE NEO GREEN software to program the new unit!

Hello colleague, I’m from Ukraine! I wanted to tell you that to perform this operation there is no point in using the NEO GREEN program! Jasltest starting from version 24.1 can do this even without having an old APM block! It is enough to indicate the chassis number of the car on which the new APM will be installed and have a connection to the Internet. This operation is performed free of charge. Included in the cost of an annual subscription. Good luck with your repairs

most definitely Ray. They are certainly forward-thinking, hopefully, when all the services are rolled out it will be a no-brainer to use the services through Eclipse for programming or adding on tools such as Neo-green

@user-vt5be3wq6o I know but the way the software is going especially the number of firmware updates that are getting applied to trucks now It's all going to end up online through portals to make sure it's all compatible I think.
It turns out that jaltest now does this at the dealer level without requiring the old APM block, and NEO GREEN, autocom, LAUNCH and other devices can only copy parameters from the old APM to the new one

Hey thanks for the comment 👍 does your texa do the new line of Knorr-Bremse ECUS? I know the workshop I did this for couldn't do it with their TEXA machine

Yes neo-green is used for all Knorr-Bremse control units through jaltest now
Nice. Also autocom can do the same.
I will have to take a look at autocom see what differences the software has at some point 👍
With Autocom, you need to be careful in programming, it likes to kill the control unit.
Is neo green an extra subscribtion ?
Hey Ray, yes it's a separate program that complements jaltests hardware.
