Totally agreed. That flat hardtop is perfect for maybe 3000W solar panels. If I were the owner, I might replace the sunpad in the bow with more solars.
@@constantineding8700 Having met the guys behind the boat that would not be a problem at all, this is not a mass production boat and you can customise much more than usual. Glad you liked it though as we did, refreshing to see something so different.
A pleasure, glad you liked it! We loved the Omikron OT60 and meeting the guys who built it gave a great insight into the passion behind it. We filmed 22 videos at Dusseldorf so do make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss what's coming up.
Interesting design and obviously looks fantastic my only concern would be on a night passage, would the light coming from the galley interfere with visibility given how far away the windows are from the helm? Great tour, thanks.
Its a nice boat. Is it possible to have extra tanks so that one really can get some distance from this boat? 1000 miles wont take oneself from tip of Baja Californa to Marquesas, nor over the Atlantic. I assume one could get further pulling the speed down to 6 knots but still. Watermaker? Could one combine the 2 mid ship cabins to a full beam master?
No problem, they will install one if required. We do agree, this would be a must for most people as it is a boat that is capable for long distances and time at sea.
A great addition to the market, shame that the presenter treated it like a training ground for jobbing burglars. really no need to open almost every drawer and door.
I not sure this is a displacement boat. I'd it was also the choice of material would be completely wrong and certainly not cost effective. Looks more like a design exercise to me.
Stunning!
Glad you liked it!
Love this boat...Instead of sunpads on the roof I would put a butt load of solar panels.

You could have both, if you place the pads over the panels when you dont need them...
There is an option for solar panels, larger battery banks, and even a diesel-electric hybrid drive, according to another review I've seen.
Sure you can do that. I also love this boat
Amazing boat thank you for sharing

Beautiful 60...
Really glad you like it!
Lovely vessel, but it’s crying out for a helm side door.
Yes interesting, it would be worth talking to the builders as they are very open to customisation.
I am sure they can build one

Thanks for your comment and its a good point! I guess you might need to dim the lighting down there if it was a problem.
Very nice. . Definitely unique
Glad you like it
@@themarinechannel What is the maximum storm this yacht can withstand without sinking?

Watermaker?

This is a boat that can be built to your needs so yes most things are possible. Thanks for the question.
Rated A ocean class, that says it all.
👍❤️
So pleased that you liked the video, hope you have subscribed and joined The Marine Channel family!
No crew cabin??
Not on this one but anything is possible if you want one!
No washer/Dryer..? Big mistake fpr a yatch that size
No problem, they will install one if required. We do agree, this would be a must for most people as it is a boat that is capable for long distances and time at sea.
Dining space inside is too small. Where should a family of 5 or 6 eat in colder weather?
For someone who won a PPE contract 😅
Waste water system?
1000 nautical miles is not "long range" .... no Trans Atlantic crossing capabilities .... this is a Mediterranean boat.
Thanks for your comment, no it certainly wont get you across the pond but the range is certainly more than your average yacht.

Ha ha, thanks for the feedback....we will throttle back on the drawer opening!
Completely wrong hull shape for a displacement boat!!!
