- The Omikron OT60 from Greece has just won the Long-range category at the European Powerboat of the Year Awards 2024 for good reason. Love this boat...Instead of sunpads on the roof I would put a butt load of solar panels.
Totally agreed. That flat hardtop is perfect for maybe 3000W solar panels.
If I were the owner, I might replace the sunpad in the bow with more solars.
@@constantineding8700 Having met the guys behind the boat that would not be a problem at all, this is not a mass production boat and you can customise much more than usual. Glad you liked it though as we did, refreshing to see something so different.

Dining space inside is too small. Where should a family of 5 or 6 eat in colder weather?
A great addition to the market, shame that the presenter treated it like a training ground for jobbing burglars. really no need to open almost every drawer and door.
1000 nautical miles is not "long range" .... no Trans Atlantic crossing capabilities .... this is a Mediterranean boat.
Thanks for your comment, no it certainly wont get you across the pond but the range is certainly more than your average yacht.

As per the builder- So pretty much a sailboat without sails and two engines… no helm door, no seakeeper, no dual thrusters, fresh water maker? Fuel polishing? It might be just me, but this is the weekender for the Mediterranean Sea?
Otherwise I like the vessel, pretty neat design, just slightly raw
