Forgot to mention the injury cover players also with the squad:
Lock - Sam Darry
Outside Back - Ruben Love
Midfielder - David Havili
Prop - George Bower
Also check out NZR+ if you haven't already - heaps of good rugby content there - been working with them all Super Rugby season - app.nzrplus.com/home
Bower is also there but what he and havili are doing there in the first place is anyone's guess.
Ah yes I need to add Bower!
What about Cam Roigard and Will Jordan?
@@FvsRulesBoth injured. Jordan I think might be back for Rugby Championship. I think Roigard comes back when we play Japan later in the year.
I think Lakai was also called in to train with the squad
I was one of Billy Proctor's teachers when he was at Primary School, and even then, we all knew he'd make the All Blacks one day. Congratulations, Billy, Ka rawe !
Plummer deserved a shot in the squad - his goal kicking and cool head is something the All Blacks could do with. I would have thought the halves could be TJ and Dmac starting with Christie/Plummer on the bench as a safe finishing option. But that’s just me. Maybe the end of year tour?
Plummer WILL NEVER be an A,B,remember where you read it first
Have enough 10 cover with both Beauden and Perofeta. Don't need a 4th
Plummer is a journeyman.
If Sullivan had been fit for The Blues Perofeta would have started ar 10 & Plummer on the bench
Plumbers goal kicking is around 70% this season, he kicked well in the final but 70% is not good enough for test level. DMac will be in the 80's and has like 50% more points than plumber. Plumber has scored 1 try in 70 odd super rugby caps. Plumber was what the blues needed, he's solid but hes not test quality.
I feel for Hoskins and afew others that had a great season but weren’t selected. Congrats to those that did.
Watch Blackadder get injured in the first test, Sotutu will be fast tracked. I can't believe he didn't make it. IMO he was the Blues player of the season (alongside Plummer).
Hoskins had his shot he failed move on he not international material
He was very quiet in the final SRP game as well, despite being in the dominant pack. Goes missing in the big occasions probably cost him a spot.
@@fu8713what has Blackadder done? Razor favourited
@@potsie7778 to be fair. He's been a decent forward and has a few caps under his belt. It's just becomes a meme since he's injury prone.
I was expecting a swath of Super Rugby Pacific title winning Blues in there, shocked that Sotutu didn't make it, he's had a stellar season in a successful Blues pack.
I thought he was a shoe in...
@@TwoCentsRugby Not surprising that he wasn't selected he's been overhyped for a long time much like Aikara Ioane,& once Ardie was available his chances diminished
@@alistermacpherson7120 well both Akira and Hoskins just had excellent seasons and were part of a forward pack that crushed the chiefs in the final, how do you explain that?
@@timgregory82 Well the team that finished 9th managed to beat both the finalists,& people NEED to understand that Hoskins is overhyped & if he wasn't part of The Blues then no one would be talking about him.Get over it
@@alistermacpherson7120someone is finally spitting facts, Hoskins is a great attacking player don’t get me wrong but he’s lazy asf on defence and at the ruck
AJ Lam deserves a mention, solid back, had a solid season playing in the midfield, could also play wing and great speed.
Yeah for the future midfield for sure. His timing wasn't always quite right adjusting from wing but towards the end of the season he improved a heap
Just another journeyman SR player
Riccitelli is particularly unlucky I reckon from a neutral perspective.
He outplayed Bell. Bell got the token Crusader card.
Yeah it seems they're going more with the younger fella in Bell
Riccitelli is 29 bell is 20 easy choice
@@Shizzle685 No a 20 year old is a better prospect than a 29 year old, simple really surprised you could not work it out for yourself
@@Shizzle685Bell isn't even good.
I swear that every young crusaders' player has been overhyped this season- Bell, Hannah, Hotham, Fihaki...
even Kemara and Springer were said to be promising pre-season, but they both sucked.
They all deserve to be there. Congrats. Let’s see how Razor gels this team together. Exciting.
Hoskin will be there when Blackadder sneezes wrong and injures himself again.
You must have difficulty with UNDERSTANDING,even if Ethan does sneeze there is enough cover & quality in the chosen squad to not need Hoskin, who Is at best a good SR player & overhyped a bit like Stevenson.
@@alistermacpherson7120Exactly. He’s the Stevenson of the forward pack. Both like rep cricketers who smash everything domestically then make a pair on debut.
Nope. That will be Lakai.
Yep, both Hoskins and Stevenson have Defensive issues, in saying that, so does Telea but at least he makes up for it through work rate and being as slippery as an eel in a tub of oil.
@@keza41 Telea the eel has one hell of a ring to it.
Earl vs Savea
Barret vs Itoje
Tuipolotu vs Martin
Papali’i vs Underhill\Curry
Smith vs McKenzie
Clark vs Freeman
Talea vs Feyi - Waboso
Going to be one hell of a tour, England Stronger in the pack (Just) with questions to be answered about our OAP props. Nz backline arguably the best in the world along side the Frech, Saffa's and Scots.
can see two wins for the AB's but very close games
I often find it hard to move aside my club bias when looking at the All Blacks but man riccitelli and Sotutu have been hard done by. Bell may be the future but was so poor while Taylor was out. Surely a All Blacks XV tour would be better suited later this year
Ricca is just a chugger. Thompson should have been the third hooker. He was the Chiefs best forward on Saturday night. Va'ai, Sititi, Finau and Jacobsen also battled manfully but the Blues tight five as a unit were awesome.
No Hoskins? That is my only question. NZ has so much depth in most positions but locks. England will ask lots of questions in the forward battle.
Scott Barrett has had discipline issues, the only AB to be red carded twice. Replacing a captain who got red carded in the RWC final. Is he really captain material? Savea better IMHO. We need to get the game discipline we had 2011-2018 back to win the big games.
but wouldn't giving ardie savea the captaincy put extra pressure on him
Saffa here, Scott Barrett should be nowhere near the captaincy. His brain fades have cost the all blacks plenty, seems to me to be a signal that the AB set up aren’t as concerned about discipline as they surely should be
Savea took over from cane in the final and didnt have any idea how to win so had his chance an failed
He will be aware of his history discipline wise and will have learnt lessons so as to improve in that area
A very good point!
I think Sotutu and Plummer will feature when injuries happen. They did their bit to be selected.
Neither of them are named as injury cover haha
Plummer has never impressed me, don't understand why people rate him. Ditto Perofeta. They look average to me. Never saw anything extraordinary about Quinn Tupaea either. Maybe watching players like Carter, B Barrett, Nonu, Conrad Smith etc has raised my expectations too high because I know all these guys have their supporters. Appreciate it if anyone can tell me what I've missed. Caleb Clarke had an impressive patch early on but seemed to lose his mojo a bit like J Savea did after an outstanding first half of his career. Anyone understand why Savea seemed to hit the wall btw?
Everyone needs to keep in mind that Razor said, this is the squad/team to beat England.
While I don't expect it change much for the Rugby Championship, you might see a few names drop out, and a few come in. Personally I like the selections, Pasilio Tosi is 100% deserving of his spot. Namely Sam Cane if he's fit.
I think this team is going to play fast and at pace, with plenty of power as well.. Watch out England, you have a very very serious AB's team coming at you. One that is solid in set play and will be super quick on the outside.
Here's my first team to play against England.
Ethan de Groot
Codie Taylor
Tyrell Lomax
Scott Barrett
Patrick Tuipolutu
Samipeni Finau
Dalton Papali'i
Ardie Savea
TJ Perenara
Damian Mackenzie
Sevu Reeca
Jordie Barrett
Reiko Ioane
Mark Telea
Beauden Barrett
Asafo Aumua
Fletcher Newell
Tamaiti Williams
Tupou Vaa'i
Luke Jacobson
Cortez Ratima
Stephen Perofeta
Anton Leinart Brown
🎉🎉🎉🎉
I reckon you are very close.
@@pausdadyoda6276 I Like it but don't see TJ being given the keys to start a Ferrari backline like that where quick ball is surely what Razzor is after. TJ's experience and game knowledge and this is not a dig but he also can pass on what not to do (box kick v Eng, he can pass on a huge amount and still excels in forward management
Caleb Clarke will start v England.
And so he should.
I'm sure Bothwick is really worried by your statement mate? Last time NZ beat England?
Gutted for Hoskins, and Ricky - they had great seasons. Also surprised none of my Canes loose forwards made it in (other than Ardie) they also performed well over the season. I guess NZ has such a wealth of loose forwards to pick from, someone’s always going to miss out but still.
You don't seem to grasp that if Ardie was available,(as he is) he was ALWAYS going to be starting as is Papali at 7,then 6 is anyone of Jacobson,Blackadder or The Chiefs 6.So clearly no room for Hurricanes loosies
I like Lakai......always tough for loosies in New Zealand. He would have got the nod for mine ahead of the myth that is Ethan Blackadder though!
Chiefs loosies totally crushingly dominated the canes loose forwards in the semi also. Blackadder ahead of anyone is an odd one. I would have thought if blackadder came in anywhere it would be instead of Jacobson(discipline issues) as versatile cover.
It would have been kind of nice if Savea (and beaudan barret) weren't available this year to properly blood some other players.
My All Black team vs England. Degroot, Taylor, Lomax, S Barrett (C), Tuipolotu, Jacobson, Papali’i, Savea, Christie, DMac, Clarke, J Barrett, Ioane, Talea, B Barrett. - Aumua, Newell, Tu’ungafasi, Tupou, Blackadder, Perenara, ALB, Perofeta. Just a bit of fun guys, what’s yours.. 😊
Understand choosing a team is tough, but having Blackadder in there makes no sense, when you can choose Flanders, Iose, Lakai or Sotutu; hell even Billy Harmon has made more of a case this year
Not all of them can be selected,I would have thought that would be obvious
Blackadder when fit ! Is the man you need for the hard graft when pressure situations are on. I can see why he’s selected, He’s got that mongrel defence that can lift a team to grind out a win.
@@alistermacpherson7120 Of course, but with so many options, choosing the most injury prone loosie in NZ seems out of whack
@@ivandevega2902 Completely agree! When fit and rearing to go Blackadder is a beast; but he's unfortunately cursed with the injury bug and when selecting a team with so few spots, you have to think about that. My other objection would be looking at his body of work over the last SR season; he wasn't even in the top 7 best loosies in NZ!!!
@@PaulEmileDorsainvil Well he obviously showed enough with the limited opportunities he had,& maybe more in tune with whatever Game Plan the ABs play
I think people are missing the whole captaincy thing. Razor probably went with the route with Barrett because they already have the chemistry and not only that, maybe it may control his ill discipline moments on the field. May gear it down a bit so he can lead and play good rugby. Ardie is too much of a good player to give captaincy. You don’t want someone like Ardie to gear down because he is the captain. He will play like he has his hands tied. At least he’s VC and has the respect of the players regardless.
I dunno man... From the outside looking in, not picking Hoskins seems a bit personal. Hope you share what you find in terms of stats.
I can see how when he was first picked he was a bit of a bolter...but seems like he's grown quite a bit since then. 🤷🏾♂️
I think Hoskins needs to reevaluate his options now....improve on his D's and move where he is valued more... Maybe to England or France or Japan....but it's up to him...
He's great going forward in loose games, but he's weak in the trenches.
Bell probably chosen cause his younger,Blackadder chosen cause his plays for Crusaders, Barrett choosen captain cause his a "Barrett"and plays for Crusaders.
No Blackadder would be picked even if he played for Blues,he can cover 6,7 & 8,& does much of the unnoticed stuff, such as defense, winning line outs & playing that good old fashioned tough loose forwards game
@@alistermacpherson7120Blackadder is a myth, he'll get injured again, or stood over by some Bok, French or Pom brute! Finau is the best blindside flanker in the squad, by a mile!!
I think Barrett captain to stop being carded 😂

Thought Sam Darry deserved a locking spot, and Harry Plummer looked good his goal kicking was exactly what NZ needs
Excited to see the squad against England, but CANNOT WAIT for that Fiji match! We scored some killer tickets for our wedding anniversary gift to ourselves.
Hoskins is like Akira. Good go forward. But that’s it. Goes missing. Pea heart when the chips are down. No mongrel. Hence why he went with Blackadder. Injury prone be but mongrel.
He has no hard edge when things are going against him. That generally comes with age and experience though. Just look at the beast Jerome Kaino turned into.

Unlucky: Noumea, Riccatelli, Darry, Sotutu, Lakai, Plummer, Love, Stevenson
Lucky: Tosi, Bell, Newell, Blackadder, Perofeta, Narawa
Isn't Noumea injured?
Biggest shock for me here is Perofeta over Love, England WILL expose him
And you think Love would fare better against England?
Yeah love for me was better
Well let's wait & see,I actually think Perofeta, wasn't a surprise selection. The likes of Love & one or two others are on the fringes.
They will play Beauden at FB
@FvsRules I wouldn't have picked him to start against England, not with their ball runners, he would have been exposed. The test against Fiji would be better suited for him.
Exciting times ahead. Its been such a long time since we've moved on from the graham henry circle era. Looking forward to whats ahead.
Was hoping to hear Falou's name. As a highlanders fan, only having Ethan get into the team was good but hoped for more. Although I know the Highlanders arent the greatest, do think Falou deserved to be named.
Thanks enjoyed your thoughts
This will be a tough team to beat, World class players and a world class outfit.
Apparently Hoskins has huge attitude problems. Must be it because he was definitely the best 8 the whole competition.
No he had an opopportunity under Foster,Hoskins is A GOOD SR player, but nothing more
Hoskins doesn't have attitude problems he just isn't as good as Ardie. They occupy the same positions/areas of the field and Sititi is a no.8 that fits the ideal future 8. Long lineout threat, is great around the ruck.
That in fact is one of the problems, you could see it from back when he first made the AB's but also defensively he's not up to it, he doesn't have that Mongrel in him that Jase Ryan loves
I'll have to compare some stats at some point
And if they have the ex-blues coach on staff then first-hand experience would've been in the thought process too. So unlucky for Hoskins??? Still a season of footy to go so keep training the house down Hoskins
only 3 locks..... 7 crusaders even though they didn't make the cut.
No different than the last couple of years the Blues have been rubbish yet there were more Blues when fozzie coached.
@@Trajan2401Blues rubbish? They were finalists in 2022 where they were top of the table and semi finalists in 23 where they lost to the Crusaders who went on to win it. Looking forward to seeing how this
All blacks squad goes under Razor
Hoskins will probably be in the All Blacks for the rest of year, I wouldn't worry about him too much. I only hope Sititi doesn't get done like Sowakula did.
I personally would have thought Aj Lam would be included
Would rather have seen him picked in the full squad but glad to see Ruben Love included in the wider training group. Interesting to know what his work-ons are, as seen by Razor n co. A gifted player and elite athlete. This coming from a staunch Chiefs man.
That's a surprisingly not shocking selection. Couple of thoughts: Is Finau or Blackadder covering lock? Happy they've gone wuth Sititi over Sotutu. He reminded me of zinzan brooke the other day, and got into the tough stuff in the final. Not much fullback cover is a concern. Jordan likely the long term pick but thought love deserved a position ahead of possibly a midfielder. That we've got 4 suggests there's some experimenting in the pairs coming up.... 🤔
I wouldn't worry about lock. Finau does have experience at lock but they have darry in the training squad and lord has ABs experience(he might be injured currently) the 2 games against England are here in NZ so if anything goes wrong they can put someone on the next car/boat/plane and it wouldn't cost a fortune
Watch what Razor does in the next 4 years. He will be the Greatest All Black Coach of all time.
I have no doubt!
The greatest coach of any country.

To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. Honestly how could any sane coach look past Plummer? I just don't get how good of super rugby season you have to have to be selected.
They don’t see him as having X factor. He is solid and dependable, they want game changers/breakers at test level. Dmac and Barrett, both have or at least had that X factor. Coaches feel like defensive frailties and crap passing and kicking the ball away all the time can be improved though coaching or game plan, but you can’t train the x-factor, hence Plummer not being picked.
Its that time of the year
Bring on test rugby!
I expect big things from this squad.
Really like the squad. thought perhaps Havilli, Hoskins were hard done by.
Havilli no.
Havili should've been discarded a couple of years ago!

Normally I'd say a definite nz win but england are humming along nicely, I wouldn't underestimate them. They turned up for the world cup (okay, easy path) and really put a scare on SA. Then they beat Ireland in the best game of the 6n.
Their game against Japan was actually really enjoyable - they're not the boring mess they were last year. Of course japan's high tempo forced them to give it back but they looked really competent in the hot weather.
I'm guessing the weather in nz this time of year is quite chilly, are any of the stadiums england are playing in roofed?
Yes the first test in Dunedin
Blackadder has always stood up at test level so not surprised to see him there but Sotutu is a bit of a weird one. Wonder if Jason Ryan knows something we don't?
Wobs next?
Yes - Sotutu is not from Canterbury 😂😅😂
I really enjoyed the forwards lineup and am looking forward to what Razor can do with this squad. On the other hand, the back Cam Roigard being injured sucks, and he will be missed. I am not a fan of Finlay; I just don't think he is international standard TJ passed his prime and Cortez is there to do a job. As for number 10, who knows how Razor will want to play this position, but I will note that both Beauden and Damien are getting old, so Super Rugby needs to produce something soon to improve this position.
The center will improve under the Razor system, as shown by his time at the Crusaders. The wing will be strong with Sevu and Mark. As for the number 15, I am really unsure who that will even be, but injuries have affected this position as well.
I guess what I am saying is that this is a rebuilding stage for New Zealand, and they will definitely be challenged by England. I hope New Zealand gives Razor a good shot at the job because he has England, South Africa, Argentina, Australia, as well as Ireland and France in November to contend with and he many not win every game this year in fact he may loss a couple!!!!
5 new caps.. thats a lot, a decent percentage of the squad, well over 10% close to 15%
Well hope Sititi is not another Pita Gus pick, also sad for Ricatelli
George Bell possibly more of a future prospect
Pita gus was a old player when he got selected. I loved him but sititi the future at 8. Only 21 years old
Sititi is 21 years old and this is his debut super season, will be a long term All Black 100%
@@Rayzajw Would think even getting a single AB cap is a heck of an accomplishment… plus it also raises your value for Japan/France contracts
Ardie Savea should be the captain and should have been captain in the past WC. He plays 100% every game and is a leader. Refs seem to like Ardie just gives off a better vibe. Anyways I think Scott will be another Sam Cane and let the ABs down at the wrong time. Otherwise cool to see some new faces getting a crack and a bit sad for Hoskin. But bottom line is Razor is the coach and I'm comfy on my couch 🤣
I would have loved Razor for England coach.
At least that San Diego game will be on at a normal time.
those Poms will give Pero a hard time ..... Christie will get caught "too slow" ... n Caleb Clarke will do wot he always does "trip over his own fkn boot-laces" ...... Well at least we got a chance against Fiji & Aussie ...
I thought i was the only person to ever notice caleb clarkes clumsiness. Nearly every time he is in the clear he slips over or runs away from support. No denying how explosive he is but he really needs some longer sprigs in the boots
A few thoughts here. This team seems to be the business, despite all the injuries. I'd question a captain role for Scott Barret, no offense, it's the same reason Eben Etzebeth makes me nervous in a captain role - both of them are excellent players, but they are prone to silly play. Which is not great when games are tight. I'll never be a Caleb Clarke fan, despite his good season. One of those wings is just keeping a seat warm for Will Jordan's return, let's be honest. Glad to see Ruben Love is getting some joy from the selectors as injury cover.
Bell over Riccitelli is a development over dependable decision and I can kinda understand that, but I think its a bit of a gamble with Taukeiaho out injured. Both Bell & Aumua have had lineout struggles during Super rugby so that's a bit of a concern - especially as Taylor has had the wobbles at times too. If i'm England i'm making plans to really attack the ABs lineout - ala Crusaders v Blues from a couple seasons back.
Blackadder over Sotutu I can kinda see as a positional thing where the former is much more suited to 6 than the latter, but that's a selection purely on reputation at Super level with the Crusaders - Blackadder hasn't been so outstanding in his chances at International rugby that he's guaranteed to perform on the back of so little rugby. Plus in terms of age its 29 vs 25 so its an interesting choice.
Bower as the injury cover at prop is also a bit of a Crusaders pick for mine; he was really shown up in the Ireland series but I guess with all the other injuries in that department who else would they go to.
Has Sititi played better than Iose this year?? Maybe its my Canes bias, but Iose played big games and big moments the whole season, while Sititi had one stand out game against the Canes??
shame there was no hoskins one of blues best players this season
Hoskins has had great super rugby seasons before but has always failed to step up at international level. Time to try someone new.
You doing a video on the Wallabies Squad bro?

Irish fan here. Just a generic comment. I always feel the captain of the team must be in the pack.
Closer to the nitty gritty parts of the game and most importantly closer to the ref
Looking forward to these games.
Quick question, why is his nickname razor?
2023: Please hire Razor - we will back his decisions no matter what.
2024: Knives are already out from many pundits, fans and critics and a ball hasn't even been passed yet
I don't think there's a coach in the history of the game that doesn't get questions asked aye. Even Rassie with the Boks who won back to back World Cups is getting similar questions on his new squad. Be a bit weird if everyone uniformly agreed with everything eh?
Great Squad!!
I think the Sititi pick makes sense. I honestly think they may keep with Ardie at 8 anyway, and blood Wallace over the next few years behind him. Sotutu was solid, loved a 3m push over try and has a great passing game on him, but meh... I just struggle to imagine him dominating international loosies.
New boss, new team, new era but still the ABs.
Right on!
Not picking Hoskins should be a criminal offence. Best player in Super all year. Picked a guy who had one or two good games. Another guy who has no step, no fend, no pass, can’t beat a defender and gives multiple penalties away each game. (cane clone) And a guy who hasn’t managed more than 3 games in a row for over 2 years. Copying fozzie and just picking their mates. Absolutely flabbergasted by this incompetence.
Only good going forward.
Yip you forgot To mention lazy on D
Must be his Defence?? The Coaches are always talking about being good on both sides of the ball. Also they want to dominate the ruck.

Robertson is a phenomenal Super Rugby coach but International Rugby is a different ball game. If the All Blacks lose at Eden Park against England there will be pressure on him like he has never seen before considering some of the controversial picks.
Very true. As likeable as he is and as much as we all want to see the ABs back at the top i get the feeling this year we will potentially lose 4 or more games. If we dont then he deserves all the plaudits he gets.
Good luck to him and the team he has selected.
How is their no Ruben Love??? Come on man.
Yeah he's in as injury cover only so far
Um because he’s average
👍🏻
The lock selections don’t make sense. They need to blood specialist locks. Utility lock/flankers just don’t have the height or bulk at international level and the ABs pack is already pretty light weight compared to other international forward packs. They needed to take a risk here to see if any of the young guys has what it takes at international level.
Pretty good team. Only thing is New Zealand always vulnerable early in the season. not much time together before England. But looking forward to see what Robinson does differently.
Robinson isn't gonna do shit cause it's Robertson! ha no-one knows who he is-yet
There is something about Former Manu Samoa Greats converting their sons into All Blacks haha. Congrats to the uso Wallace
i thnk we have issues at 4-5-9-10. i hope i am wrong
Goota feel like some of the picks are from a one eyed cantab, but obviously they have multiple selectors. I just dont understand the blackadder over sotutu. Sotutu offers ao much more, and if you want a proper 7 youve already got the best in nz in Dalton. Just such a weird pick. Then you've got bell over rickitelli? And a baffling one for me as a blues fan even is no plummer but perofeta? He was great before his injury but has done nothing since
No sotutu and a random tosi pick ?? They must be thinking something different to choose tosi and Wallace and drop sotutu
I heard sotutu has surgery
SOTUTU wasn't even in to be dropped
Sotutu is a poor man's Ardie. They occupy the same areas but ardie is one of the best players in the world. Sotutu is a solid super rugby starter. Sititi is only 21 and has the height and weight and is still raw. Which means ABs coach's can mold him
@@Rayzajwpoor mans ardie ? Ardie went for a soft and cushy season in japan while sotutu dominated in super rugby and was the form number 8. He outperformed SITITI in the final too. Ardies not even a number 8 hes actually a 7 should be a 7 now that Cane is gone.
I think Razor could’ve done a lot more with the squad before 2023
Not sure he has much to work with this team, lacking depth in key positions as well and a lot of young guys
Where's Harry plumer and Akira Ioane?
Not selected,I mean you surely weren't expecting them to be.Akira has about a 20 minute energy spurt everytime he plays & Plummer is at best a good SR player
Akira is also going to Japan now
At home
What’s happening with Naholo I don’t know what’s up with him he was playing this season then he wasn’t what happened?
Injury scares
@@Dummypass aight thanks for the info
Sititi not good underpressure
It showed on Saturday night
Still very young aye - feels a bit rushed but we'll see how he goes
Your a nobody so who cares wat u think he made it so suck it all day keyboard tough guy
no tupaea?
HOSKINS VS. SITITI ON DEFENCE 2024 (Hoskins played twice the amount of minutes)
HOSKINS:
246 TACKLES
24 MISSED TACKLES
21 TURNOVERS WON
22 TURNOVERS CONCEDED
SITITI:
164 TACKLES
14 MISSED TACKLES
5 TURNOVERS WON
8 TURNOVERS CONCEDED
Ah but YOU ARE NOT a selector, nor do stats tell a true story
@@alistermacpherson7120 Alister everything ive seen of you suggests idiot
Stats can be decieving.
Stats are particularly deceiving in rugby. For loosies an important stat is how many of the tackles were dominant tackles. ABs haven’t really had a feared defender in the loosies in a while although to be fair the rule changes have made it pretty hard for that type of player to exist in the modern game.
@@alistermacpherson7120 when did I ever say I was one? Merely putting a few defensive stats out there. I know more rugby than you ever will.
Who’s playing fullback
Who's at second five. What's at fullback.
Dunno about SB as captain… Savea seems the obvious choice… that’s a bit odd to me. But I’m not an all black coach so what do I know…
Saddened to see in comments many of my fellow Kiwis already casting doubts and negativity over the selection.
I will support Razor in his choices and give him the support he deserves in his role as AllBlack coach
From what I heard Sotutu will have surgery
