Wonderful content KJ! Loved to see all of the vehicles at the event and their ability to handle (or not!) the various challenges. It would be very interesting to see what you find when you get around to opening up the transfer case and transmission. I love the way you take all of these equipment "challenges" in stride and remain so cheerful! Keep up the great work and greetings from Canada.
Hi! In case you don't know, drive axles with wheel reducers (for military use) are available for UAZ in some factory configurations. Such drive axles can be bought used in Russia for a small price. In Russia, you can also buy a variety of tuning options for them (centralized wheel pumping, differential lock, disc brakes)
The air you saw coming out into the clear tube may have been from air leaking around the bleed screw, not necessarily from the lines. The screws are no longer air-tight when you loosen them.
THAT VEHICLE FOR ITS AGE ( and bad clutch) WAS A BEAST !! I WISH we he had events like that here in the UK !! Don't worry about lack of talking ... just watching you having a good time and talking to your friend ( thank you for the transaction 😊) was all we needed !! IF you get the chance to go to another PLEASE let us come along!! Head cam is 100% better than fixed !! ( unless roof down with plenty of coverage) Looking forward to the autopsy 😊 GREAT VID THERE FELLA 👌
for how little work you did do the UAZ that thing works!! you can have some serious fun for cheap!! would love to see any transmission or transfer case CARNAGE!! THOSE EVENTS ARE FANTASTIC FULL SEND PLS!!
Your english is perfect. You sound close to what 1 of my buddies sounds like. Did you spend time in an english speaking country? Love you videos! I just got a 406 Unimog & you being so knowledgeable helps me SO much. The books from mercedes even tho translated read more like a foreign language. Here in the US their a lot more rare so i REALLY dont want to mess anything up & theres no one who wants to answer 1,000 qurstions from me about it! Thanks again from just outside Nashville TN!
Hah, well thanks a lot! And no, funny enough, i have not even been to any english speaking countries, yet :) But i'm glad to know you are finding the videos usefull. Thanks for watching along!
the helmet cam was great, just need at least 2 more camera's mounted on the car for different angles and that will sort out your viewing, and having never seen a UAZ it did very well so dont be too disapointed in it, time and sadly money will get it sorted out
Not really beeing a fan of the UAZ, the reason why it broke down and the repairs that you will do to get it in the field again, will certainly be a nice KJ episode.
i would like more off road videos but reall ofroad and not on events those are kinda booring they are already premade tracks just going out there on the woods with your mates and take some shots it would be nice.
Hah yeah well, i won't blame it on Finland, because thats not where i am. Hahah :) But yeah, we are a very small and densly-populated country. so even though some woods are public land. you are not allowed to drive freely around there. and will be fined and also liable for any damage you cause. (And it's VERY expensive) while the rest of the land is private property. so without permission from the owner, it would be illegal trespassing.
Hah, well, to be honest, i don't remember if i have talked about Finland. i may well have. But i have never even been there. :) I'm located in Denmark. :)
Awesome video KJ. Please film the autopsy of the transfer case and clutch, please. Take care & stay safe.
I would love to see the clutch/gearbox autopsy - YES!!! for the videos, please!
Yes to all your potential videos mate : workshop, humvee, backhoe, events ... it's all good!

That was just awesome watching that event. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed this video. Please continue with the workshop upgrade you started with weeks ago. Remember that spring and summer are short in Denmark
Really enjoyed this, more from events sounds good. As long as you show the repairs after them :)
Thank you. I really enjoyed this one.
Excellent! Definitely need a UAZ repair video!
I would love to see what's broken!

That stencil looks to be more in character with the UAZ than any sticker could.
Superb video! Can't wait to see what happened to the gearbox
Yes please! Open it up! Thanks for your content keep it up!

Oh, and "yes" i want to see the carnage inside the transfer case!
Off course we want to see the carnage and the fix!!!

Definitely show us the post mortem on the clutch and transfer case.
It would be nice to see the box coming off and what sort of carnage has gone on
The flanges will come loose if silicon has been used on the mating surfaces. Silicon doesn't transfer torque.
Well, that would make sense.
But mine has the normal gaskets. and not silicone
Здравствуйте. Спасибо за видео. Сам владею уазом.
yeah lets see the carnage, and more off roading would be cool
Would love to see the carnage, and possibly the repair, and as for the events, yes please :-)
you had great weather for the event
A gearbox video would be great
Good video, seems like your linguistic skills are as good as your mechanical ones! Nice to hear the Danish and have it translated on screen.
Thanks a lot :)
👍
And how about upgrade some oh the unimogs to do a trial vehicule? What do you think? It could ve great!
Of course i want to se the carnage 👍

Not sure why you are apolgizing for the camera work. I thought it was great. It was really fun seeing what you where seeing.
is it an annual event? seems like a cool place to be, might be worth a roadtrip from switzerland
It is, yeah. :)
typical of a small russian 4x4 goes anywhere with little fuss
Not really beeing a fan of the UAZ, the reason why it broke down and the repairs that you will do to get it in the field again, will certainly be a nice KJ episode.

As much as i would love to do that. it is very rarely possible here, and usually illegal. :/
@@KJOff-Road its ilegal to go off road? what a heck, how come you cant drive trough the woods, finland is terrible
