Katie is simply an angel. She’s helped save the lives of so many kitties!! We need more people like her . I miss you so much Tom-Tom. I’ll never forgot the day you left us. 😞♥️
I'm a man, nearly 40. Every time I see good people taking care of poor animals, I have tears in my eyes. It really restores my faith in human race. Thank you for what you are doing. RIP Tom
Thank you Katie for rescuing Tom-Tom. His life and journey off the streets and in your loving care was incredible to watch. So many of use watching on IG or FB were moved, touched and fell in love with how patiently you cared for Tom-Tom. His story lives in our hearts always. ❤️🩹🌈
It breaks my heart to think that without this lovely lady's intervention and determination to give Tom Tom love and a home....he would have passed away, alone, under a bush, cold and hungry. Rest in peace sweet Tom Tom and know that you were (and still are) loved. 😻💔🙏❤🇬🇧
Thank you for saving him. I rescued many cats who didn't want to be alone outside. They are not wild animals. Cats have been pets for decades. Even the Egyptians had cats as family members and gave them wonderful lives. Cats deserve more respect than they get. And they deserve a home and love.
Beautiful story, I feel sad to see cats on the street and not many people care about them; but at least there is a human like you who loves cares for the cat until the end of his life. God bless you to have the cat ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢😢😢
Veteran of a thousand street battles, just look at his ears. Cats like him usually are the most happy and grateful, if they get to live in a warm house, sleep on soft pillows, and get all the food they need. They really appreciate the good life, and they show it by being very affectionate, once they lose their fear of you.
The best thing ever, he went over the rainbowbridge with lots and lots of love . He got to know what LOVE is. I am so happy for this little old man.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, talk about a real Tom cat, Tom Tom had it all, and you Katie had the heart to give him that soft place to fall in his final days. The love that you gave will never be forgotten, Thank you!🐈❤️🕊
Tom Tom found himself a loving home where his life was so warm and comfortable that he knew this was where he was meant to be and he had the best life ever with mom, who gave him so much love and happiness ❤❤❤❤
I'm so sorry Tom Tom passed away, and that he wasn't in your life longer. Thank you for caring enough about him to be patient until you traped him. He needed to know he was safe . Once that happened he opened himself up to you. I'm so grateful he knew love, and was happy and safe before he passed over the rainbow bridge. I work with a lot of cats, take care of a colony of cats, and it is never easy when they pass; but I also know that I and my family gave them the best life possible. That they knew they were loved and cared for.
That story breaks my heart terribly, because he cn enjoy your company very little😢. At the same time makes me really happy hell find you. You are a really good person and you deserve each other. He had his last days a family thats all of them and all animals deserve.❤ Sweetie i expect youre in the heavens cat very loved there too.. 🌹😓🥺

That face....so beautiful! This story reminds me of a Tom I'm feeding. It took a long time to gain his trust too. But I finally got the coveted head butt...It made my day! Churu is a miracle maker! I'm sorry you lost him so soon. At least his final days were a blessing for him.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s amazing how gaining their trust can be so rewarding. 🐾💖 We’re glad Tom Tom’s final days were filled with love. Churu really does work wonders!
Thank you Katie for opening up your heart & home to TomTom. I'm so happy that, prior to his passing, he got a chance to be adopted & to receive immense love that I'm sure he craved & he so well deserved. RIP TomTom, you'll be forever missed & loved. ❤😻❤
Thank you so much for giving sweet Tom-Tom’s last days perhaps the best days he has ever had. When he crossed the rainbow bridge, he took your love with him, and he will always fly over you, purring with love and gratitude. ❤️❤️
I loved following Tom-Tom's story. I'm so glad he had a loving home. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him love. I sure miss him. I have his calendar. Rest in Peace handsome.
This brought tears to my eyes - both happy and sad tears.... I had, for 7 years, a sweet calico girl that I found living under my house when I moved in. We flirted for a few months before I won her confidence and we adopted each other. She was an indoor/outdoor kinda gal. Inside mostly in the winters and in and out in the warmer months. I promised not to interfere with what she wanted as long as she kept me company. I had to put her down last Christmas when I found that she was consumed with cancer. I miss her to this day. When I came home from work at night she would often reach up to me, put her arms around my neck and give me wonderful hugs ! Boy do I miss my sweet Spooky.... I hope to adopt an older rescue soon. Thanks for the sweet video ;-)
OMG I'm so glad you got to share your life with this big boy. He's sooo cool and cute as can be. Thank goodness for your patience that paid off. Tom Tom was loved. It's hard to believe someone left him out in the wild like that. He obviously had a hard life. Thanks for your story. 💕🥰
Sad ending....but his last days filled with love..food warmth and he belonged.....thank you for your dedication and patience!! He had what he deserved his whole life in his last days with you... he was gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
I had a Tom too. I rescued him along with his 2 surviving kittens in 1999. I lost him closed to 2 yrs due to leukemia.. I miss you Tom. 25 yrs later. .. Years later I lost his son his mate and daughter.. You're all 4 together again..
Who would dump a Scottish Fold? The monsters whom did this to him should be in prison.😢😢😢Thanks to her for being kind. He was loved. 🌈🌈🌈🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I know the feeling. I had my own Tom. Her name was Blackie, the most loving cat I've ever known, and for 8 years she was my baby until she passed away on January 26th. The void of her loss is huge but her love lives on in me🐾💞 Thank you for giving Tom a loving home.
Thank you to the rescuer who took in this sad, poor kittie. I notice, in the case of many animal rescues, that the rescuers think they have to somehow catch or capture the animal they are trying to help. It's also interesting to observe how, once rescued, the animal is always placed in a cage. I'm mentioning all of this because we, as humans, do not think like these animals who are in distress. We tend to think and behave the same way we are treated by abusive authority figures. The cat being rescued in this video did not need to be trapped in a cage. The homeowner who was caring for him on her property could have left the door to her house open with food inside. That would have eventually lured the cat to come inside. I can tell you that once this cat was trapped in that cage, his worst fears were realized. That act was a violation of the cat's trust that he had, up until that point, placed in the woman who was feeding and caring for him. That one act alone was a setback in earning the trust of this stray cat. It was not necessary. Rescuing animals and caring for animals takes time and patience and commitment. Animals are very sensitive living beings.
Ok David Attenborough, well if the lady hadn't of trapped him he would of died alone scared outside underneath a bush some where or in a field etc but by doing what she did Tom Tom gave this beautiful soul A few months of unconditional love+care and he died A lot lot happier than if she hadn't of captured him and brought him inside so ur opinion is utter bullshit but hey u get plenty people who know nothing about animal rescue but spout verbal diarrhea just for the sake of having a different opinion! I'm sure that 10mins of being in a cage was worth it for him to live his last days on this earth living pamperwd+in luxury compared to what Tom was used to all or most of life!
Thank you for sharing your perspective. It's true that each animal's needs and responses can be unique. While trapping can sometimes be necessary for safety, it’s important to approach each situation with sensitivity and respect for the animal’s feelings. Your insights on patience and understanding in rescue efforts are valuable. Thank you for advocating for compassionate approaches.

The doors are danger areas for cats: they open suddenly on no schedule and people erupt without warning. Then, to get food, he has to stick his head in a box where he can’t see danger coming and his hearing is impaired. (Deaf cats often are not scared of vacuum cleaners.) Feral cats need to have multiple escape routes.
