I've never commented before, but this negativity that you were on the receiving end upset me so much! I get so excited every time your flosstube pops up on my feed and I immediately stop what I'm watching and switch to yours! You are the reason that I started stitching samplers because your collection is just so beautiful and inspirational. I'm so sorry that mean people exist in this world and feel the need to project their negativity and unhappy lives onto others. Just know that you are very loved in this community!
That’s SO true! And the bits at the beginning with Mr SS always make me giggle. I don’t know how anybody could complain about them. 🤷♀️
I enjoy watching your videos so much that I have watched everyone of them. I hope your hubby continues to interact with you at the beginning of your video. I missed him today. I don’t understand why mean comments have to be written. Lots of love 💕

I rarely comment, however, I felt compelled to send you a few words of encouagement and gratitude. Love, love, love your flosstube - don't change a thing. The banter between you and your hubby are endearing and shows the love and encouragement that he has for your stitching talents. I too am a quilter and recognize many of the "old" patterns that you have shown in your quilt videos. Those naysayers need to keep negativity to themselves or simply go else where. This is my husbands profile, but I wanted to take a minute to let you know what a blessing you have been to me. I am a Hospice nurse which can be emotionally draining. After one particularly grueling and heartbreaking Sunday, I thought I could not keep doing this. My hope was that I would get home and you had posted a new episode. I knew that it would take me away to a happy place of cross stitch and renew my spirit. So, I made it home, crawled into bed, turned on UA-cam and there you were.! I was saved to continue on. Thank you!

Insults are a direct correlation with lack of self esteem. Do not be bothered by those who have to bring you down to feel better about themselves. Somehow, I know you are a strong woman and can brush those comments off, but yet, we are women and have soft hearts. I understand. Stay strong and keep doing what you are doing. Today’s episode had moments like that but our Carol we know and love was very subdued.
I cannot think these comments were made by any genuine crafter. So for that reason they have no rights visiting your channel or making the comments they did. They certainly have no rights to comment on your faith or the fact that this come into your stitching. Please love as a Brit ( and we do take a lot of flack for a lot of things) know your loved in every way and please bring back Mr Saltbox I love him too .

You, Ms. Carol were my first Floss Tuber to watch just 3 months ago. I’ve gone back to watch previous episodes because you’ve inspired me in too many ways to list. I stopped stitching 30 years ago because my former spouse berated me for any time spent cross stitching. It warms my heart to see how your husband supports you. Last night I finished my first large piece by Scattered Seeds. I knew after watching you today that I was going to dedicate that piece to you. Please don’t let anyone tarnish your crown. It's so easy to get offended by the negative noise of the few, those that are envious of your ability to inspire us to stitch and enjoy such a therapeutic hobby. Carol, I have never told you this but I watch/listen to your videos with earbuds while I am at work continually. They keep me smiling and light hearted when I am surrounded with stress. Critical people seem to have nothing positive to offer (you don't see them taking time time and effort to make videos like you do!) and always critique those people who exude creativity that brings joy to others. Because they lack those traits, they try to drown them out in others. You are wonderful! You have a magnetic personality, sense of humor and take the time to share so many gorgeous pieces that brings us happiness! Thank you! Whatever they critique I say smile and brings us more of it- we love you!!!

I watch Floss Tube everyday and you are one of my favorite channels. I have been watching for about a year and have learned so much from you and other stitchers. It brings me joy to share my love of cross stitch with others and have a community that is so inviting and friendly. My mom did teach me that if I can’t say something nice than to not say anything…very good advice. My husband says “Some people complain that their ice cream is too cold!” I love the interaction with your husband. I have been married almost 56 years to the same man…high school sweethearts. Since I want to be just like you when I grow up I hope you never change! Sometimes I get discouraged when my counting is off but your floss tube always gets me centered and back at it!!!!
Thank you so much!! We all have counting errors, just a part of the game!! It helps me to immediately fix the issue rather than put it aside. But sometimes the most difficult part is finding the miscounted place.

Carol, I’ve never commented before, selfishly, I suppose, I’ve not taken the time to tell you how much I enjoy your flosstubes and this seemed to be the time. You inspire, amuse, comfort, teach and encourage me in every episode. Thank you for sharing so generously and authentically with us. Maybe I’m crazy, drunk and too religious, too! 😂 My mother always said when people say ugly things to you, it tells you everything about them and nothing about you.
