My husband was in the last few months of his life and I can’t tell you how many nights you, Kindred Stitcher and so many others flosstubers kept me sane after he passed. No mater the hour of the day or night you were there sharing beautiful needlework. Being sweet, funny and informative. I have had the chance to say this in person to a few of the ones I watch and maybe one day I’ll get to tell you in person…..thank you.
It’s amazing how one life can touch another. I started watching your Floss Tube Channel shortly after my husband passed away last year. I needed to keep my hands very busy and my mind occupied with something besides the constant grief and sadness. Listening to you and others show patterns and talk about cross stitch really helped me during a very difficult time in my life. I wish you all the best and look forward to watching your next video. I was driving through Wichita on June 23rd, after being disappointed about Silver Needle still being closed due to no power the day before. I was so tempted to stop at Heart's Desire, but I was a bit early for their open time plus had already been to 4 cross stitch and spent a bunch. I hope that's not the day you were there or I will forever kick myself. I wouldn't have wanted to miss a chance to meet you in person! Keep coming with the videos - I love all the things you stitch. Dear Carol, You touch many more folks than you could ever imagine. I lost my BFF in Sept. 2020 to cancer. She was my quilty bestie and we were joined at the hip. I was totally lost without her. Then I discovered floss tube and cross stitch. Between Angela at Happy Little Stitch Shop and you I feel part of a supportive community again. Hopefully I’ll get back to quilting some day but for now stitching soothes my soul. Thanks for being there. ❤ Love ya

Welcome back. Your review of the retreat was wonderful, there is no doubt that you had a great time with some old and new acquaintances. Blackbird Designs has to be my #1 favorite closely followed by Plum Street Samplers. I just ordered the "Moon" series Spring and Summer, can't wait to see what Paulette has in the works for Fall and Winter. What a beautiful tribute to Barbara Adams. I went back to see your tribute (Video#49) to her after her passing. For anyone who has not read her obituary you need to google it. It is one of the best (if there can be such a thing) giving a nod to her love of the Beatles. I have several Floss tubers that I follow. Yours is always the first to watch when a new one is posted. Your work is lovely and inspiring. So a big thank you to you and Mr. Saltbox for putting together your videos. They are so appreciated and just an hour of time that makes me appreciate this art even more. I recently returned to cross stitch after a very long sabbatical (probably 20 years), so much to stitch so little time. If I were Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, I would click my heels three times and wish for a local shop that I could drive to. Always looking forward to the next time you share with us all. I really don't know where to begin, but like so many I am always so happy to see you post a video! Today you have entertained me while I am at a cattle show in toasty St. Paul, MN! My granddaughters will be showing Charolais heifers here on Friday & are participating in the Charolais Junior National fun here this whole week. For us old people (my husband & I) that means lots of cattle sitting, but probably not stitching. Thank you for all the sharing!

Welcome back. Your review of the retreat was wonderful, there is no doubt that you had a great time with some old and new acquaintances. Blackbird Designs has to be my #1 favorite closely followed by Plum Street Samplers. I just ordered the "Moon" series Spring and Summer, can't wait to see what Paulette has in the works for Fall and Winter. What a beautiful tribute to Barbara Adams. I went back to see your tribute (Video#49) to her after her passing. For anyone who has not read her obituary you need to google it. It is one of the best (if there can be such a thing) giving a nod to her love of the Beatles. I have several Floss tubers that I follow. Yours is always the first to watch when a new one is posted. Your work is lovely and inspiring. So a big thank you to you and Mr. Saltbox for putting together your videos. They are so appreciated and just an hour of time that makes me appreciate this art even more. I recently returned to cross stitch after a very long sabbatical (probably 20 years), so much to stitch so little time. If I were Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, I would click my heels three times and wish for a local shop that I could drive to. Always looking forward to the next time you share with us all. I really don't know where to begin, but like so many I am always so happy to see you post a video! Today you have entertained me while I am at a cattle show in toasty St. Paul, MN! My granddaughters will be showing Charolais heifers here on Friday & are participating in the Charolais Junior National fun here this whole week. For us old people (my husband & I) that means lots of cattle sitting, but probably not stitching. Thank you for all the sharing!

I enjoyed hearing your recap and re-living the experience. This was my second retreat with designers and I am just thrilled I was able to attend. I hope to attend more in the future!
