    I can see why Tim likes them, there's something so mesmerizing about the magnets. There's some instinctive desire to apply a sense of agency to all the things in those toys, even though you *know* it's just magnets and batteries.

    Some time ago i was asked if i could meet any celebrity or someone, who would it be. I had no idea, i'm not much into meeting people. But now in pops Tim into my youtube recommendations and yes. I'd like to meet him. Such a pleasant personality, and someone to easily have something to talk with.

    That three-rotor one on the sloped ramps probably has a Bedini circuit driving the electromagnet. I love that toy, going to look for one!

    I made something like the ball on the stick one as a kid and put some xylophone keys around the ball. I called it the Chaos Charms. (was a pencil with a strong magnet on the bottom on a string tied above the repelling magnet below it.)

      Friction on the joints would still exist so it still wouldnt be perpetual motion, but id imagine it would preform better

      I think that objects lose some kinetic energy by interacting with the magnetic field somehow, regardless of friction or air

      My limited understanding tells me the iron atoms have been aligned in the same direction by an electric current. Think of a group of people all facing the same direction, versus a group of people chaotically facing different directions. This alignment causes a flow and funneling of the ether, the sea of energy in which everything floats. So magnets are basically ether focusers, their coherent atomic alignment invites the ether force to flow through them.
