    I don't think people climb into barrels by themselves, so I would say yes that is evidence of foul play. Humor Edit added > You know maybe people who did not have a boat were using barrels to fish out of or float across the lake. Maybe they got stranded and shot themselves because it is so damn hot.

That being said, when I was learning back in 2017, I half-jokingly asked if they'd ever found a body in Lake Mead. Where I live there is a head pond, my dad drives a barge for his job for the hydroelectric damn. He has found a body, and a second body was found by another person. Both were not foul play. Person my dad found had fell into the river leading to the head pond while ice fishing in the winter, my dad found it while cleaning the river of drift wood with the barge. Then the second body was a boy who had been bridge jumping and never came back up. My dad always says the water isnt clean enough dont swim in it, or there are weird things in there. But everyone does it, there is even a government maintained beach there. Well I recently started working doing a historical heritage project with a company and we were looking into the land where the hydroelectric damn had been built and how the land looked before that. We found that there had been grave yards there, under what is now a public beach. The graves had been exhumed and relocated, however what was never made public knowledge really, is that the black graves were NEVER exhumed. Now clearly those bodies are not going to pop up anytime soon, they are long since broken down. BUT my point is,,, the very spot everyone goes swimming my entire life is directly above about 30-40 graves that were never exhumed. not to mention the two bodies literally found in the water... I decided I will never swim in that water again NO MATTER WHAT. The sad thing as well is that as a kid... everyone jokes that the beach has SO much "sea weed" because everyone pees in the beach (no bathrooms on the beach or years and years, parents just told kids swim out over the sea weeds and pee....) Based on the maps we found, the "sea weed" area is just vegetation that has since grown up from the grave yard cite. Its just all so strange. Im not talking a grave yard form 300 years ago, the dam was built in he 1960s.

    This is a given. How many drunk and/or reckless chuckleheads lost their lives over the years. Often zipping around at night. Not to disparage true accidents. As they find those remains, it's time to look through the reports of missing people from over the years. This will bring closure to families of those missing people. Also, take into account the old saying, "Getting 86'd". Eight miles out, six feet down. This could, as with the bodies in barrels, close some murder cases.

    • @bearyhot
      @bearyhot 2 роки тому +1

      I never knew what 86'ed meant.. ...one of my relatives, who's been deceased for a long time now, would use that terminology every once in a while. He was involved with a gang in the early 1900s. Since the inception of the internet, I found all kinds of things out about him, that I never new. I even found his name in old newspapers, as he was shot during a resaraunt gang invasion, but he lived. I kept copies if everything I found out about the gang and my relative, for myself.... but it would be so cool if someone would make a video about my relatives involvement....come to think of it, I've never perused YT for info....guess today is a good day to start 😆

      that's doubtful , those bodies will likely never be identified even though dna is a big deal now it wasnt back 40 years ago , now they might get lucky if someone comes forward with a missing relative and gives a sample of DNA to compare it to.

      @M.I.C.H.A.E.L. holy 💩 dude, what have you been snorting ?? Try a nice fresh backyard grown hippie lettuce jibber, it might help with your anxieties.
      Calm yourself with some kayak fishing while naked.
      Walk out far into the forest and glue yourself to a tree if need be.
      Or wait for your mommy to leave, sneak into her room and put on every pair of her granny panties , fill them with frogs, do a handstand and time how long it takes for them to fall out.
      But holyyyyyyyy bajesus relax

    They continue to say no foul play on all the bodies they are discovering? And the police department seems like they are not in a hurry to investigate?

    Hearing stories like this really ruins the desire to go fishing anywhere. You never know what those fish have been eating. I've always had that thought in my mind. Though I try to block it out when fishing. Though this possibility is much less likely in smaller freshwater lakes. But, you never know.
