Very Interested. How did you come up with those comps?
I am not a comps person. When cards are limited in print such as 1/1 for example, I do not believe comps have any room. Since these are the 1/2 and 2/2, I consider this as equal as a 1/1 in the sense that there are only two and both remain in your possession. Theoretically speaking, I could shred the 2/2 live, which would then turn the 1/2 into a 1/1 - thus allowing someone to say that this is the only copy in existence. Since we know that bounties and other high high values are placed on cards that are 1 count only, I look at these in the same fashion.Based on print runs and values from the sales of various cards in the sport, I take an estimate of the card that I believe it will be worth in 7 years using the rule of 7/10 (of course not counting that mahomes could win his third which would result in an instant price increase of more than double) and factor that I believe this 1/1 set (1/2 and 2/2) will have a value of between 300-400K. Given those numbers, again based on the rate of high-end, RPA cards that I have calculated, this is my fair market - give or take a little. However, that is only due to the fact that these are booklets. Had these been regular cards in 1/2 and 2/2, the price would be touching 7 figures. The same basic computation that goes into valuing a 1/1 Doncic black with a bounty or a Wemby gold 1/1 rookie auto. Mahomes is bar far a better draw for a crowd and being that these are player worn patches, and the only two of the set so there is no chance of another set like this happening at this price and time frame, the value is placed where it is. I am always willing to listen to offers, but will not consider approving any offers until I have Letter of Credit from the buyer's bank or another method to establish proof of funds. Hope that helps

@@silverstacker644 these cards are listed for 199k - the 40k offer is a bet for those people who think that the cards are “crap” or in “bad condition” because they have an authentic grade with a 10 auto
@@maxwaxpax its almost impossible to get a patch a grade of 10...the natural crease from the booklet prevents that..i would only do authentic check only on any type of item such as this..
