It's really helpful, especially if you don't know the area. The trails are all rated by difficulty although the ratings vary from one trail network to another. But yes we are truly spoiled here in the Pacific Northwest.
Even though there's nobody there to impress, ya still choose to take the more challenging trail. Well other than us lol. Props my man, keep up the great videos!
My god. That right there looks like a Megs Braap trail. Great riding man. I'd have shit going down some of those ledges. Such good content. Keep it up.
Hey, I’m on holidays in the Carabian and watching your latest video. I can’t wait to get back to BC and ride. Thanks for the treat. Hope to meet up with you some day and ride!
Just broke my foot in November here on Vancouver island. My buddy bailed that morning but no big deal. I work in camp so I’m used to riding weekdays by myself. Was having an awesome day on a great trail. At one point the trail cuts across a fairly steep rock face with a bit of a drop at the bottom. The rock was slick. I tapped the front brake and my front end shot out over the drop while my clutch cover forcibly introduced my foot to the rock. Completely crushed. Intense pain. And 9 kilometres from my truck. I knew that getting carried out was impossible which left me with 2 decisions. Call for a chopper or ride out. So I got on my bike and started riding. It was pure hell riding out and the pressure on my boot from my swollen foot was intense. But I made it. Straight to hospital to find out 4 broken and shattered metatarsals. I’m still in a cast 9 weeks later. Would I ride alone again? Absofuckinglutely !!! I love the channel and can’t wait to come to the mainland and ride vedder and mcnutt.
Paul Montgomery, bummer about your injury. It's a risk we all take. Still there is something about riding alone that just can't be beat sometimes. Plus if I'm filming a lot of 3rd person shots I don't have to make anyone wait around while I set up the camera.
You’re my new favourite UA-cam channel. So nice seeing local stuff and I really enjoy the way you shoot your videos. I have a 17 250 XX-w and seeing how smooth your riding is gives me something to work for. Thanks for turning me onto the dirty mountain goat too. More quality stuff.
Great video. I’m sure I would not make it up but it would be fun to try. Had my second hip replacement surgery today. Came home the same day. Three months before I can trail ride though. Enjoyed your video.
I just discover your channel to day and i really like what your doing we ride in Alabama on the same type of terrain your on . Also the factory Dunlap ties seem to work really well on snotty wet roots rocks i noticed in one of your videos you run the bridgestone on front can you tell me why ? Im hoping you say it sticks better to wet conditions and rocky with roots because im get close to replacing my stockers and unless i can find someone that rides the same terrain we do for advise i will just go back with the Dunlap's.
I just feel the Bridgestone X30 works well for me everywhere on the front plus it's one of the cheaper front tires. It also seems to last quite a while. I've tried lots of tires but keep coming back to the Bridgestone. The X30 rear however was the worst rear tire I have ever used. Sorry for the late reply, YT seems to have stopped sending me comment notifications.
I rode Revelstokes Rowland’s Revenge and Squirrel City this year alone this year. Trying to keep momentum while being reserved because you’re by yourself is definitely a mental game. However riding reserved can also lead to more tip overs and injuries I find.
PNW Enduro I would recommend starting the loop on the map related south end which is Black and Blue, Rowland’s and down Squirrel City first because it’s less difficult. Then in reverse order as starting from the North relative to looking at the map is much harder. It’s a fantastic area, don’t forget to check out the Akolkolex Falls. I built the bridge over them last summer 😃👍
PNW Enduro I got to put some laps in this up Mcnasty for the first time, that place is pretty intense especially because ive been riding it solo and don’t know the trail system. I really enjoyed the rock features on Rear Admiral.
@@MrJasonfromcanada How would you compare the trails in Revy vs what you have seen so far at McNutt. I have seen few vids of Revy, specifically Rowland's Revenge. Looks doable, but everything always looks doable on camera.
Awesome footage . Just found your channel . Subscribed ! What bike was this trail done on ? I’ve seen you ride 250’s and 300’s . Still new to your channel so I’m not sure what your main bike is . And was it a tpi ?. Cheers from a fellow BC rider .
Cool . Good to know . That 250 Xc sounds like it grunts pretty good down low . I’m currently on a 300, but am considering a 250 this time around . There seems to be more deals on leftover 2018’s . Cheers !
The camera does not do the rock face on left justice at 2:40 as it is much steeper then it appears, only a very few have made it up that line. Was this late August or September?
@@PNWEnduro I did this trail around the same time solo as you did! Only I came from the other direction . I was just glad to survive without breaking me or the bike. Nice to see the other way. I was just lost.:(
Angry man says one way, but really most people ride it the other (easier) direction. The part with the net is a different trail Friday the 13th which is a two way trail.
@@PNWEnduro Like, actually though- I own both and I actually use the dirtbike more for "training". Stuff like this is a cake walk on a trials bike. Trials gets boring quick unless you really put effort into progression, i found.
That trail looks hard on camera so I know its 5 times harder in person. Good job man
You schooled all of us! Amazing skill, confidence, and execution. I was there yesterday and am truly impressed!
Great riding. You make the tough stuff look easy. Cheers
Thanks 👍
It just amazes me that you have so many trails that you have to mark them all with little signs! Nice riding..

Nice trail and seldom used. The best of all possible worlds!
You bet!

Thx for the intel, riding this tomorrow.
nice work, particularly on those ledges. beautiful country out there!
Nice! Thanks for posting! Looks like a nice ride!

Please leave her out of it.

WTF are you talking about?
Well done!!! Great Video. See you at the next race event.
Aw the beauty of the button!
You bet, I've been in some situations where not having that button would have made things very difficult.

Enjoy the sunshine! It's pouring rain here right now.

Good place for a trials tire on the rear or a long distance trials bike set up. Nice net !
Great job on that last hillclimb. You made it look easy
Thanks, conditions were prime that day.
Man i got to get up to the Pacific Northwest and do some riding. Great riding and awesome footage dude!
Yeah we have a couple good spots, lol. Thanks for watching.
My interest is peeked, hopefully you can show me around when all this rain lets up and things dry out a little!
Sure thing. Might have to wait till spring to hit up this trail again though.
If you like gnar. Come ride downieville sometime. Lots of fun gnar trails and exposure trails but no safety nets lol.
bike sounds good. hopefully the tpi is as good as that

Great run bro

Do people go up the rock face @ 9:11????????
By the way, thanks for sharing the video
Yeah some guys do, it's gnarly!
big tree down last weekend, had to turn around
that looks like a fun trail.
Awesome looking trails man..love it...new here👍
Thanks for joining us!
Man your strong. Great trail, I've never seen a trail with a net!
Yes it's pretty unique. Still not willing to test how strong the net is though!

Revelstoke is high on my to-do list. Hopefully ride there this summer. You are right, being cautious and not committing can lead to problems.

Hey Brad, thanks for watching! In this video I'm on my 2017 KTM 250XC. I had the SmartCarb on during this ride.

Ever seen Sasquatch out there?
Nope but I came really close to a bear on one of these trials recently.
You like to live dangerous eh...lol. Good riding.
Thought the trail sign said one way? But at the safety net you said you usually come up that but you're going down?
Angry man says one way, but really most people ride it the other (easier) direction. The part with the net is a different trail Friday the 13th which is a two way trail.
You need a trials bike for this stuff mate!
Oh I would love to have one eventually.

Jeff Minnion, for sure. It would be nice to have for skills training but I would probably still ride the enduro bike most days.
Which trail system is this?
Jeff Branham Vedder mountain in Chilliwack, British Columbia
waiting an invite!
Still running the smart carb?
I was on this ride. Just swapped it out for the Lectron the other day though.
I just put a Lectron on my 17 300XC. I feel a loss of low end lug and that its maybe a touch lean. Do you have any tuning advise?
It says “solo” but can see another bike in the back ground when he comes off
Yes, that clip was shot after the solo ride when I ran into another local on the trail.
3m 25s in, and I'm already angry.
Danger Cliff Edge Walk Bike .... rides bike. Fist bump.
That section is scarier going up the rock face.
That trail would be 2x harder if it was wet.
What ride area is this?
Message me for info.
