After uploading a "tea time" video, now it's time for a delicious and warming cup of italian coffee, old way made ! You'll hear some crinkling at 00:30 and 03:50, pouring-stiring-sipping coffee and crunching chocolate at 05:45.

@@elisascavolini1447 -- I am in the southern US, the state of Louisiana, and we put in WAY more coffee as well. Still, I remind myself that she is making a cinematic ASMR vid, so maybe the amount of coffee was proper for the shot she wanted.

But, as Italian, I must say 2 things: 1st don't press the coffee powder in the filter and 2nd fill the filter up to form a mound with the coffee powder

@@amplad When i fill the filter with coffee all the way up the moka clogs it and it takes too much time to produce very little bitter and ash tasting coffee.... the only way mine works is if I leave the filter half empty. What would you suggest in this scenario ?
I'm a moka pot man and I was thinking the same thing. If it gets pressed, the pressure is so high water comes from the joint at the threads. This is by far my favorite method for coffee. 4 oz shot, 3oz heavy whipping cream and about an ounce of flavored creamer. That or 4 ounces of heavy cream if you enjoy the natural note flavor of the coffee. I love them both.
Also, contrary to the Bialetti instruction manual, boil the water *first,* then transfer it to the lower chamber of the moka pot (use an oven mitt or kitchen cloth so you don't burn yourself while screwing it on). This has two effects: The lower chamber will be already expanded so it forms a better seal with the top chamber, and the coffee grounds spend less time on the stove dry-if you start with cold water, the dry grounds start to cook before the water, making the coffee more bitter. When it's finished, hold the lower chamber under cold running water to stop the brew so you don't over-extract.
If you form a mound the pot top will press the coffee down when attached. What's the difference between that and pressing the coffee down yourself?
The only downside to this is that now I want coffee when at this point it would keep me up half the night.😂 Loved it, though; I've always loved the sounds of coffee and tea making!
a tip from an Italian Espresso lover, put the water up to half the bellone and the coffee you have to put much more like to create a small mountain and you don't have to compact it, it's a moca not a machine, leaving out this, nice video the noise of the moca is beautiful😍

what i find really relaxing about your videos is that not only are they very aesthetically pleasing, very well done, and well recorded (clearly you put a lot of effort and time into your work), but to me, you always give off a very warm, maternal vibe. and i find that very relaxing and easing. :)

Beautifully shot! Worth watching James Hoffman about making coffee from a moka pot; short version: boil the water first before putting into pot; stop the extraction process once you hear the bubbling - gives you a less bitter coffee (you do this by running the moka put under cold water.

Fill the funnel. Don't *pack down the coffee powder* . Use low heat. On an electric stove, I use knob between 1 and 2 until coffee comes out, then once the two sides of liquid connect, I turn off the heat and until the liquid changes to a light liquid; the I remove from the burner. Hopefully nothing happened to prevent the coffee from coming out, like brewing out slowly. If that happens, leave the heat on to 1 or 2 or turn it down to low until the half of the liquid is in the collector, the. turn off the heat and remove it off the burner when the liquid turns a light bright colour.
