‘A hero to Ukraine’: Jacksonville-area man dies after volunteering to fight with Ukrainian military

- Edward Wilton III, 22, died about a month ago after he volunteered to fight with the Ukrainian military. He went to school in the Jacksonville area and on Thursday his loved ones will lay him to rest in Mandarin.
As a father myself...I'd be gutted. I experienced war...I don't want my son to ever experience it. I know this man is being strong...may God assuage your pain in moments of sadness.
Ed miss you man, you were a great guy and will me dearly missed by your Ukrainian comrades. We will all meet again one day mate.
Yes.... this earthly life is temporary. This young man lived a life worth being proud of.
Truly sorry to the loved ones left behind. Ed is just fine.

The longer the war, the more soldiers got kill on both sides. During the VN war, we (me and two younger brothers) had joined the army because of draft. One of my brothers and I survived from ten years war. Talking about war, it is a nightmare.
