I absolutely love this paint pour Desk Amy. ..Sooo Beautiful. .and I give You Soo much Credit for Trying for first Time on This video. . You have more courage than I do ☺️❣️....I love this so much. .you're inspiring Me to try something like this. ..thanks Amy🥰👍❣️
I've never seen this done. Moving the paint with the blow dryer was so cool to watch. Beautiful color combination and pattern. I had watched Sarah's video when she was making the live edge desk for her husband. You gave another idea for the Flexispot versus a traditional desk top. Thanks for this video!
I’m in love this paint pour desk Amy! It’s amazing! You are inspiring me . Thank you for sharing this video ❤️❤️
Furniture flipping and acrylic pouring -- my two amateur passions combined 😊 Do you have another channel for your art? I'd love to watch it.
I don't have another channel, but I think I have been pivoting more toward furniture art rather than the quick flips❤️😊
Oh my gosh it’s BEAUTIFUL! I’ve watched paint pour videos on canvas on YT but this is a whole other level! Amy, you’re extraordinary.
Thank you so much, Brenda! 🥰
IM love this desk. The colors blended well. I can see this method of acrylic pour on top of a night stand with the same colors blended on the base. Thanks for a great teaching video !!
How did I miss this video, I didn't realise you did paint pouring also, Lady you Rock.
I love paint pouring, that piece looks great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Amy you inspire me.you always teach so much.and your piece is outstanding.love it
My daughter has that desk that you have but with black legs and brown top but yours is beautiful. I absolutely love the paint on the top and I have seen this method done before but not on a piece of furniture. Beautiful.
That is super cool! Love this so much, Amy.
It looks amazing wow, what a fun project. Well done
Thanks, Meg!
This is so cool, Amy! I love the colors you chose!

I love the results! It looks really custom and deluxe!
Great job the combination of the colors you chose are so soothing and relaxing that gesso is awesome I use it on my canvas but since I'm a messy artist it's a no no for me kuddos to ya
%o with the epoxy pour. The desk is beautiful and epoxy is the ultimate protector. I use epoxy almost every day, and when I forget to wear gloves, or get it on my protective jacket, 50 washes later and I still have hard spots on my coat.
I love love loved it!
Beautiful effect!! Blending took a long time but worth effirt!!
Looks like waves in ocean
Wow turned out awesome! Great desk to work at, it will bring a smile to your face
Thanks, Debra! It does make me smile ❤️
Beautiful piece
This is fantastic. I love this effect.

I’m impressed and inspired. The desk is beautiful 🤗
Thank you! ❤️
Turned out so pretty!
Thanks Kim!😊
Omg I LOOOOOVE this! I'm legit addicted to watching acrylic pours. When those cells and color ribbons happen my little heart is so happy 😊 This is the coolest top, Amy! So creative and beautifully done!
That’s so awesome!!
You got me wanting to pour now! Lol
This is so cool, love it!
This is so cool,
I love the color combination! Have you thought about incorporating acrylic pouring with other furniture flips? It's so pretty 😍
I have thought about it! I think I see that happening in the near future 😊
This is so beautiful! Good job!
Thank you!
Very cool!
Very nice....
Amy!!! I’ve always wanted to try a paint pour…this is AWESOME!!! You’ve done a fantastic job! It looks beautiful
Thanks Sarah!! It's so fun!! I was thinking about making some paint pour art for staging. That could be cool I think🤔😃 You should try it!
that was cool.
😊❤️
I read somewhere that you should never go higher than 30% water because it has no binder and will impact how well the paint sticks in the long run. I’m wondering if you can use a heat gun instead of a torch for the bubbles?
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Quick question, why gesso and not primer? Just wondering if there was a reason for the gesso versus primer?
Curious, why didn't you use a regular primer so you didn't have to do 5 coats of gesso?
Hi Trudy! Even if I used a regular primer I would have had to use many coats. This was MDF board so it would have sucked up all my paint otherwise. Gesso is also an acrylic primer.
Looks amazing 😍..but I'm confused I didn't see when you mixed the resin..how much resin do you use?
I didn't mix the resin yet. It needs two weeks to dry. Artists Loft ready-to-pour acrylic is gloss so it looks like epoxy already.
@@FlipItFurniture oh .ok..I guess I don't exactly know what you did .lol .I'm kinda duh . maybe because I'm turning 50 next month..lol .but I thaught it was done with resin I seen Brush by Brandy do something similar and she added paint to the resin..but..I love the way yours turned out..
Thank you! There are many ways to do it. This is just another example.
